“Oh my God, Reese Witherspoon, I love her.”
“Do you have a connection to her?”
“I feel like I do, I love her, I just said that.”
Really odd show, but everything about it is so mellow, kinda love it too.
Nothing could have prepared me for episode 4. It is extremely dark and upsetting. That episode was hard to watch knowing that really happened to author in real life. Episode 4 left me emotionally drained. My brain needed a break.
I have to say up to this moment I was really frustrated with watching Donny making bad decisions with regards to the Martha situation, Donny’s insane lack of boundaries got on my nerves. But in this episode he finally admitted Martha was giving him the attention that he craved, as he said, “Martha saw me the way I wanted to be seen.”
nestor carbonell directed this episode! it was really well acted for a procedural tbh
I understand why the therapist scene exists but , seriously we didn’t need an entire episode. Worst episode so far. Thankfully there’s fast forward buttons.
The only thing I'm not liking about this show, is how many episodes we have left till the end, this story has been nothing but Epic
The dialogue and acting in this episode was actually outstanding, can't believe we're coming towards the end of the show already :(
Wow, the ending was insane, at first I hated that you need to read those subtitles all the time but this show is worth it, would love them to add smth similar like in Warrior where they do smooth transition to English language for all characters form Chinese.
Oh, hell yeah. I've been waiting to see how well they pulled off the nanofibers cutting through the ship. Nailed it!
im not ready to say goodbye to this show!!
I never thought Angela and Dwight's story would make me tear up
Dwight is the only good thing in this season
Absolutely outstanding, while I really liked the characters in episodes 1 & 2 i felt like this was the episode that made me fall in love with the majority of them, while also getting more attached to the actual plot. Music, action, acting, cinematography and special moments like the final scene there make this episode a 10/10 for me. Incredible stuff!
this show is so fucking good been a while since i watched a show this good
the throwbacks in this episode are gold
The survivor syndrome summarized in one sentence: it is because .. paper covers rock.
Those letters were insane. Yikes!
I am glad Dee Dee finally told her daughter the truth. That girl really needed to hear the it, Zoe is such a spoiled brat.
They really are failing Edward, why is the aunt getting help but not the kid that survived the crash? Like the loved ones of all the other victims have group grief therapy but Edward, an actual survivor, has nothing.
Oh Edward !
Can someone please just give him a cuddle, let him know he's loved and tell him everything will be ok. Why is everyone hating on him. He's hurting.
Watching this episode this poor kid hasn't had a break - it would be tough on us adults, but for him , Poor little guy.
Wonderful serial. Tugs at so many different heart strings for each character.
This is why I try so, so hard not to give up on a show after only one episode. The pilot was an empty shell of its UK counterpart, but the second installment here was better—though still frustratingly slow-paced.
We'll see how it compares to its own UK counterpart soon, since I decided to rearrange the order in which I watch shows to view the US and UK Office versions back-to-back.
I keep commenting on this show!
From the pilot to this episode :pound_symbol:6 you find yourself watching a totally different show to what you first thought it would be, it could have been totally different and a massive show, but that doesn’t take anything away from what it actually is…..
It’s slow but gives you just about the right amount of intrigue to bring you back, it’s very cleverly crafted and very respectful towards anyone that has suffered grief in the way that the characters do.
With this episode we start to see how the web of connections between those left behind are starting to become tighter and how each will start to effect the other.
The thing is that none of this is being forced on to us the view, it’s just being drip fed to us in a natural way and evolving slowly over time, cleverly, warmly, with heart and with tenderness…..
This show continues to get a high score from me, not because it’s wow what a moment, wow what a spectacular show, but because it’s beautiful crafted and loving….
Thank you!!!
Messy and bewildering, but utterly mesmeric. A little (expensive) masterpiece.
I can’t wait to see what’s next. Nathan is next level.
Astonishing 30 minutes of TV. I think this is going to emerge as one of HBO's alltime great dramas. All the participants are actors, right? They have to be.
Wow.
Man, there's a lot of weirdos out there. Makes one feel normal, lol
What an amazing show. It‘s such a heartwarming but also an exceptionally tragic story that is told so well. Brie Larson really shines in her role and the performances were brilliant across the board. Can’t recommend this enough.
Took me a while to remember where I'd seen him before, but the "skeptical doctor" is the same actor who played as that "broody comedian" in Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Dunno who might care, but it was driving me crazy.
How could someone be as stupid as Lucy is? It's annoying.
Stephen is such a disgusting person. I hate him so much!
Evan and Bree are cute. I'm happy to know they end up together. They are so much better than anyone in this show.
Oh god, Hari's past haircut is definitely enough to make the empire fall.
Also, found Jessica Hyde!
God, I hope this wasn't just a one season revival. This show deserves to keep going even longer. Absolutely amazing.
That was an amazing finale. So much happened that it's hard to wrap your mind around it
