I got to say that I have not been mind fucked by a movie like that in such a long time..
It is the kind of movie that mid way you would say "I do not understand anything", and by the end of the movie you would say.. "Fucking Hell, Now I get it. I Wish I didn't but I do"
I am just scared from the way that they keep upping the plot twists and endings of movies that at some point in time you would be watching a movie and then you would realize that it has all been a trick and that you are actually not watching a movie at all..
Another thing that below me away through out the movie was the performance of Sarah Snook. While still not over her creepy performance in Jessabelle. She really took me by surprise with her performance.. I have not seen before someone who can say so much with just their eyes.. I can tell that the 28 year old Aussie is going places after this..
On Rotten Tomatoes, The film has a "certified fresh" score of 82% based on 71 reviews with an average rating of 6.8 out of 10.

On Metacritic The film also has a score of 68 out of 100 based on 22 critics, indicating "generally favourable reviews"
If you are ready to be mind blown all the way, watch it but make sure to not miss anything cause it will add to the inevitable sense of "What the fuck was that? that you already going to get when you watch it attentively.
Oops, I guess you can say that, yes, I am aware I am breaking the first two rules initiated. But, fuck it! Fight Club sets out to break the rules. This classic about the Narrator, an insomniac who meets an odd but very cool soap salesman, named Tyler Durden, is fucking amazing in every single way! Once the narrator's apartment burns down, he begins to live with Durden, where soon, they create a secret fight club taken place under grounds. One of the coolest part about the movie is that not only does fight club become a favoured ground but it additionally ends up becoming a movement.
I think that Fight Club is such a hilarious; quotable; intense; brutal; and intelligent film. The cinematography is amazing but don’t even get me started on the script. The concept is intelligent in every single way. This movie is quotable af, and Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, and Helena Bonham Carter completely epitomize their characters. So much talent in one film. It isn’t even just them but the supporting characters, too.
Fight Club demonstrates such a bleak and raw portrayal of human society. The narrator has such a dull life and relentlessly desires more, therefore, creating the imaginary Tyler Durden, whom, to quote the man, “All the ways you wish you could be, that’s me. I look like you wanna look, I fuck like you wanna fuck, I am smart, capable and most importantly, I am free in all the ways you are not.” The film teaches the audience that people should allow to accept their authentic selves. We are not special in this world. “Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need” (Tyler Durden), being cool and edgy, owning fancy clothes, and having a nice home and a kick-ass car does not make us special. And Fight Club completely mocks that utilizing it in the Durden’s “masculinity.” In this film, we learn to just wake tf up and take a look at the reality around us. No one is special and in the end, the movie just portrays the bleak and brutal, dark side of reality in which Durden faces; death. The narrator is left with a chance to start all over.
I really really like the setup of strained relationship between the scientists and soldiers. There are some very spicy scenes and the acting is great. It’s a super good idea.
Gore-wise it is the best in the series yet. It continues to be quite cartoonish in how easily body parts burst into a pool of blood and how easily the zombies bite and tear off flesh as if it were plasticine, but Dr Frankenstein’s test subjects are done really well and succeed in making you feel uncomfortable; organs spilling out, brains bashed in, heads disembodied, forceps holding bits together... it is effective body horror. On top of that, the zombies in this film are the most human-like we have seen them yet; you feel sorry for them.
There is another element to it which is the strength of the protagonist, Sarah, esp in contrast to a pvt she is protective of. He has some terrible dialogue though, for example at the start: "I know you're strong, all right? So what? Stronger than me. Stronger than everyone. So what? So fucking what?" but i do relate to how scared he is and how he struggles mentally, and how every time he goes out to try to help he feels so useless and he feels shame and hates himself, he constantly fails in his duties, and he has no self-esteem left. And Sarah’s strength is tested throughout the film. She is scared too and has trouble sleeping and has a few breakdowns. She just keeps it together most of the time and thinks practically and she has a lot of confidence too, e.g.: "Don't worry. It's not going to come to that. We've just gotta pound some logic into their heads." so she sort of just keeps thinking practically about what needs to be done and does it along with confidence things will work out, although that is very much tested and does not work out in the end... but I really admire that and have things to learn from her.
I read the comment "Def made for young teenage boy demographic. You're better than this Tenacious D!" and had to comment !
F*ck that !!! I love metal and we are boys. I'm 45 years old and people don't understand why I look this young. It's because I feel young.
Tenacious D you are spot on and this film Rocks BIG time... This movie ROCKS and that riff was f*cking asome. The proof of that is that your friends (I mean F*ck just look at the cast) wanted to make this film.
I'm a DIO and Rainbow fan (Ronnie R.I.P.) and you have the sound of ROCK !!! This film is the best gift for a DIO fan.
You must have had so much fun making it... Wish I could have seen Dave Grohl do take after take, because you guys just didn't want to tell him take one was perfect and the camera stopped filming 30 minutes ago. It's al about having fun and loving what you do.
Metal can not be defeated
check out the Heavy Metal Monk. Yep, this guy is a real monk and has a long white beard.
Don't forget that most music we loved as kids originated in the 70s.
Check out Linzey Rae - Screaming Vocal Tutorial With Mom. It's fun right... Rockers are nice people with humor !!!
The negative ones end up claiming it was a phase. Rock is the kind of music that can bring peace between different alien species, because they have something in common. And maybe Rock already saved our planet from being destroyed because they wanted to hear the end of that guitar solo (just enough to change their mind destroying our planet).
Negative NON research comment by Mark Kermode - Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny...
behind the scenes The Making of Tenacious D | The Pick of Destiny
I stuck a blender in his head and killed him.
Oh... ok.
What an incredible movie! A must-see in the slasher genre (or horror). It starts off like your regular cliche horror movie, then it takes a turn in a direction that you always hope for but never gets.
We have some really good dialogue lines and the plot is fresh, nice work Barrett. The actors do a good job, especially Sharni Vinson. Erin is one the most badass leading characters in horror for sure. She's super resourceful and really creative at setting traps, killing people and smart planning her next moves. This is what makes me really like this movie, horror is my favorite genre, so we always see stupid people making dumb decisions while we facepalm ourselves. This movie fulfill my requests.
Wingard's directing is pretty good at most of the times, I just think the camera gets too shaky sometimes, and bothers me a bit.
The death's and situations the characters are put in are creative and the special effects are really good.
The soundtrack is amazing, Looking For The Magic by Dwight Twilley Band is such a great song and it fits so well with the film.
Adam Wingard, Scott Barrett and the rest of the crew did a great job. Super fun movie!
