A killing Christmas tree is on a Christmas killing spree. Out for revenge, he hunts down those who caused his execution.
Laughably bad... everything, but it's 100% fun cheesy entertainment. The kills were fun and the third act was hilarious. You can clearly see the tree is a costume and some shoes are visible at the bottom most of the time. The talking from the tree was a bit much. Almost in the "so bad it's good" category but not quite, it's just bad.
Best of the two Duane Berry episodes imo. Mulder shows more emotion in this than any other episode so far!
Oh baby, i loved this double episode as a child. And I love it now. The last scene with Mulder and Skinner always gets me. :)
Enter the Viper.... Alex Krychek
Better than I expected. Not scary but it will please fans of the slasher genre. The real horror, of course, is the college coverup of frat boy rapists that is threaded into the plot here.
This movie has much going for it in the "so bad that it`s good" area. Especially the dialogue is hilariously bad.
"Someone's in the back... SEAT!"
Another movie that has that Scream feel with an interesting premise but is still pretty cheesy. There is a certain scene with a microwave that caught me off guard and actually grossed me out, but at least Brad Dourif has one of the funniest cameos I have seen.
well acted but god such garbage. just rewatch hereditary.
This was pretty good. First off, I gotta say, someone needs to give Lewis Teague an Oscar for Directing Animals on Film. Between the performance he gets here from Cujo and then from the cat in Cat's Eye, the dude has got the touch. I was pleasantly surprised how thrilling it was once the dog vs. car battle happened. I have avoided watching this because A) I heard it was heavy on the family drama and B) Google has it incorrectly listed as being 2hrs and 15 min. It's not. It's a tight 91. Big difference. Dee Wallace is a badass! Also, dear lord was that kid screaming getting on my nerves. I get that a kid would probably be screaming that much in that real situation, but I cheered when Dee Wallace screamed at him to shut it. Anyway, good movie! Great dog and Dee acting!
Madison made some choices that weren't absolutely horrible in this episode! Could it be...character growth??? I love Strand, as always. The only time I like Madison is when she's interacting with him. I hope that Daniel and Ofelia will be reunited, but something tells me that's asking too much.
Wow, One stupid decision follows the next AGAIN. I honestly don’t get how the majority of decision makers is still alive?!
Where the flak come from, I don't know, as this is a rather effective killer animal movie. It's one of the better Jaws ripoffs anyway. The animatronic whale is even more convincing than Brucie the shark... It's a pretty harsh movie, even if it goes a little over-the-top. This is one fish you don't want to mess with. You know you done messed up when a killer whale burns down a village trying to get to you...
“ Holy jumped-up baldheaded Jesus palomino!” Probably one of my favorite Stephen King adaptations. Loved the practical effects in this one also
This movie is packed with cheesy goodness and spot-on humor!! Cult classic!
Big Banana paying for product placement, I see.
With the X-Files closed, Skinner sends Mulder to investigate a body washed into the NJ sewer. As the investigation continues Mulder quickly finds himself in a shitty situation.
Glad to see they revisited Tooms and closed that X-File... For now?
Ohh that Phoebe was such a b*tch.
Good episode. Always great seeing Mark Sheppard, and he played that arsonist greatly!
The monster in this turns out to be nothing more than a wild woman who comes out of the woods to scavenge and occasionally attacks unfortunates who get in the way. It's a mostly Mulder episode.
Secondary characters in this episode: None
The first episode to explore the abduction of Mulder's sister by way of another family's encounter with aliens by Lake Okobogee. The little brother of the abducted teen becomes a "conduit" because he picks up a Defense Dept. transmission in his mind and writes it in binary. This has the scene of Scully seeing that all of the little boy's scratchings of ones and zeroes is actually a picture of his sister when all of the paper is arranged.
Secondary characters in this episode: Samantha Mulder
Love this movie we as a family watch it at least two to three times a year
A nice quirky little rom com. The humor didn't always work but was enjoyable overall.
It was ok. Pretty much what I was expecting. Worth watching for Julianne Hough to be honest!
This would be completely different if it was a horror film.
Not great but a good watch. I think it tried to be too clever, but it was fairly predictable. Good performances all around, especially from the daughter who seemed to outshine the rest of the cast.
The recovery of this film is important because it confronts us with the way AIDS was lived at its worst. There is an obsessive need to explain many things, a discourse of anger and helplessness that does not benefit the film, but that was necessary at that time. Knowing that the director Arthur J. Bressan died in 1987 (44 years old) and the actor Geoff Edholm in 1989 (33 years old), both of complications derived from AIDS, makes its viewing even more emotional.
the movie just keeps building up and then the end is just ridiculous
I enjoyed this new cut of Superman II and found it to be a lot different than the "Lester" version. It remains a corny movie to be sure but I was quite impressed with the street fight in New York between Superman and the three baddies. Gene Hackman is just the best here as criminal mastermind Lex Luthor and Christopher Reeve is most enjoyable when he is playing the clumsy Clark Kent. The HD DVD version makes the dated special effects look even more dated
Bob is my favorite character. That’s it, that’s the comment.
As if Jason needed to be even more badass now he comes back as a zombie. A good amount of humor in this makes for a funner movie.
