Malkovich? Malkovich. Malkovich! Malkovich! Malkovich! Malkovich! Malkovich! Malkovich! Malkovich!
my "manually marked seen" plays don't count in the highscore. That is just mean!
watched this movie more than 5 times, finally came around watching it with audio commentary :)
Darkness, you are wrong. Watch the new episodes again ;-P
in case you got confused, here is a timeline of season4 http://remarked.co/arrested-development-season-4-timeline/
I actually liked Season 9; but I think I'm alone with that opinion...
Who wants to join the church of the Holy Eternal Rupture?
Love the camerawork, like the performances, like the atmosphere and the "feeling". I kind of also liked the story. So why not a 9 or 10? I really don't understand why the son gets dragged along, I don't get why psychologically that happens it just feels like a plot device to make the movie what it is.
And the other thing: What does this movie want to tell us?
Very good movie. Minus points for the acting.
Probably was an inspiration to a lot of heist movies we saw in the last decades.
So can someone tell me what the point of the Van Alden storyline is? Since Season 2 he is just wandering around.... so unimportant that he didn't even appear in the last episodes of Season 3.
Can't compare to the modern comedies of course; but in the fight between the "old and simplicistic" sitcoms (vs. Friends) Seinfeld wins so much. Not too much brainpower needed, but much more interesting stories than Friends has. I simply passed on this show because I always feared the huge amount of episodes (that I now need to watch)
Still too long, but interesting regarding the content. However I found the plot a little bit too confusing. The end was full of suspense but I still couldn't grasp what the motives are.
Great visuals, interesting dialogue... the general theme is about getting old or something like that.
Like grande belleza, it did not really move me, but I was still amazed. This one had more plot (at least plot that made sense to me) and tuned a little down on crazy visuals, which I liked.
Okay; the movie became better the longer it was running.
Girls really turned out great during the season :-)
Don't listen to the people who diminish it as a SatC copy/successor; it really is different.
Nice idea, nice cinematography but the plot is lacking. This is noticable because in the end the movie is too long.
For some reason I feel that it would have fit the show better if they did not reveal the solution of the rape/murder. The ending episodes were a lot of crime show stuff.
What the fuck - they are airing yet another season?
quite okay, but a bad and very senseless ending
it gets significantly better in the second season; although it is still too much guy humour
Who is the talented bastard that casts the women on this show? Damn.
I like it although it's not top-notch.
But I can totally understand if it's not for everyone.
Plot-wise belove average, but it warmed a little bit and gave some chuckles. Especially because of the snow-man and the reindeer.
I'd say, that this review ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1821549/reviews-5 ) is pretty accurate.
Nice bits and all, but the movie is too long and there isn't really any character development.
By the end, I found myself feeling akin to Woody's character through much of the movie - walking and driving and walking some more, but not actually getting anywhere.
Slow and boring in the beginning, but it grows at the middle.
Seasons 4 was extremely bad. Ditched it after completing season 4.
A bit bad story and acting wise, but nevertheless took me in and I couldn’t stop watching
Enjoyed the second half of the movie much more than the first.
In total the Movie felt too ironic. Because :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:every:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: scene is a joke it was difficult to care for anything
