Goodbye Attack on Titan, you'll always be the best anime ever
I hate Gabi so much, I don't even care if she's got a redemption arc later on, it ain't gonna change a thing.
At first I disliked her but now I wish they had yeeted her off the zeppelin when they had the opportunity.
I already hated Gabi before this episode so this changed nothing
Seriously? This junk really won awards? It's not even a movie. More like a crappy CGI test demo where nothing exciting happens the whole way through. The only thing I remember is Clooney trying to hit on Bullock. Fail.
Criminally underrated.
In the age of Transformers-, Pacific Rim-, Godzilla- and Marvel-movies that is churned out every other month this is a great alternative Sci-Fi film. I loved the pacing and tone, but I understand that a lot of people that are used to the same formula and action every 30 seconds - it could be viewed as boring. It isn't. Brad Pitts performance is perfect and the driving force of this space adventure.
Visually stunning and with beautiful music, this hits almost every note with perfect pitch. A must-see for Sci-Fi fans and a must-buy for me when it's time for a blu-ray release.
An absurd film full of heart and humor. Amazing action, brilliant setpieces, and a strong core message that's expertly delivered raise it above the crowd. GOAT for me!
A truly sensational film! The utter definition of a must-watch.
'Everything Everywhere All at Once' is impressive from every single viewpoint. I had heard murmurs of it being a great film, yet it still managed to completely smash my expectations. This 2022 release features a superb cast, a fascinating story and some top notch visuals. The editing and pacing, in particular, are brilliant.
The onscreen talent are all fantastic, but Michelle Yeoh is still the absolute standout from this. What a performance! I could watch her in this role over and over and over. With that said, Ke Huy Quan (welcome back!) is awesome as well, as are Stephanie Hsu, James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis. Everyone plays their part very, very well.
All of the humour lands, with some parts being truly funny. It also manages to show supremely enjoyable action alongside a highly meaningful side too. In short: EEAAO is outstanding - you must see it if you get the opportunity!
Raccacoonie :eyes:
Awesome, an instant classic.
A24 and the Daniels made a more entertaining movie than the studio system has been able to put out in years.
How are these action sequences so well helmed with a budget of only 25 million? Did they get the Daredevil crew or something? It’s insane.
Great acting, imaginative, really well edited (it takes a few minutes to adjust to its pacing, but its a smooth ride from there on), funny, stylish, moving, and it manages to blend many film genres in fascinating ways.
It also gets surprisingly substantive and profound in the second half, but that shouldn’t be too surprising considering that it’s A24 (it’s hard to imagine that they’d finance this without the second half).
This is destined to be one for the books, it’s going to be remembered for a long time.
9.5/10
I’ve been eating films for a while and people ask me why I never give 10 out of 10. I now have an answer, I was waiting for this film. It is the best film I’ve ever seen, it reaffirmed my love for cinema and made me very happy.
10/10
Amazing. Stunning. Wildly imaginative. A visual and emotional journey I never expected. Seriously one of the best films I have seen in a long time. The primary cast were absolutely perfect and I’m happy Yeoh has this vehicle.
You know this is Cinema when the movie makes you cry over rocks.
Funniest movie I have seen in years. There is no way Dr Strange In the Multiverse of Madness is going to do multiverse better.
Yeah, there's plot holes. But the movie is so damned funny you just don't care. When they first explained how the multiverse thing worked my reaction was "Really? Is that all?". But it just got better and better and better.
There's periods of the movie you're struggling to breathe you're laughing so hard, and others that are just slow, deep, and sad. It's heartbreaking and hilarious. Slow and a thousand miles per hour. Nothing happening and more happening than you can possibly keep track of at once.
This movie is, without a doubt, brilliant.
writing about stories in which a writer struggles with writing is just lazy writing.
First truly bad episode this season.
Kind of a weak episode
Why are there only 4 seasons listed when 5 were aired? Netflix has the fifth season.
She conquered the door! What a satisfying ending.
Totally sick. I loved it. Lanthimos has an extraordinary vision.
This Korean series is just excellent, on all points.
Whether it is the shots, the music, the duration of a discussion to make us feel a specific emotion and immerse ourselves inside the scene, the themes addressed ( This is the first time that I see a series that introduces the LGBT theme as well and naturally ).
Everything was so natural and so well developed, until the very end the series was excellent.
It taught me a lot about life, its meaning, the love of a father, of his family, love for the one we love, the sense of friendship, the image we likewise, revenge, and the importance of our own principles.
I come away with a lot of motivation for my future projects, which is why, for me, this series is excellent, since not only did I have a great time watching each episode with such emotions and I come away growing up.
Thanks, IC!
Can this be even more complete? Great characters with great plot and sub-plots. Always having the feels in most episodes. This is actually one of the best Korean Series i have seen. And don´t get me talking about the awesome soundtrack.
This turned out to be my favorite korean series. It gets people in different ways but for me it was just perfect.
This TV Show was AWESOME.
Not just your average revenge drama, Itaewon Class has a super diverse set of characters and manages to do each. one. of. them. justice while also delivering a properly satisfying ending. Tackles racism, transphobia & corporate greed among other things and idk this is defo my most favorite Park Seo Joon drama yet. FOR REAL. A socially inept character, autistic-coded, who’s the cutest cinnabon ever? I’m in LOVE. Oh, and Kim Da Mi?? Ahh-mazing. Gotta love how the classic villain types still managed to surprise AND we also got the real grey-shaded ones. Everyone reaped what they sowed and this is one drama I 10/10 would recommend.
Locking forward to this. 2020 Dramas We are ready :grinning::ok_hand:
The ultime search of sweetness in the bitterness that is life whilst providing perspective on the beauty of ordinary days.
Keywords:
Youth, ambition, loss, bullying, racism, discrimination, friendship, hardship, love triangles. How seemingly small decisions can change your life forever.
Sidenote:
Rooftops are essential for ultimate happiness.
This is a must watch. The diversity of the characters is a much need breath of fresh air. Hopefully this is the start of something bigger!
I really think some people don't understand the history behind the "history" that are watching at all. Many people 'see', but not 'observe'.
This series have a lot of connotations, such politics and social, from a showdown with a dictator; unto to release of real feelings. Almost all characters have a full evolution of her personality... even Naga hahaha.
At first I agree looks like a little child's series, but think is a masterpiece in all respects. I recommend this series to all public, seen or not any other series of the Avatar's universe.
PS. James Cameron's 'Avatar' not included. xD
Finally somebody understands the possibilities of bending. Homma is a revolutionary. Katara, predictably outlaws the practice(We find out in legend of Korra) of course ensuring that the practice would be remembered in a way it never would have been if it hadn't been outlawed and brought attention to. I love Katara for her compassion but she is not a leader.
