Travelers: 1x01 Travelers

This pilot makes the show look promising!
But there was one thing I did not understand... From what I could tell, hosts need to die for travelers to transfer their consciousness to them (right before they die). Then how did the FBI agent become a host for a traveler, since he was saved from death?

@misnomer As far as I could tell, the hosts must not die in order for the travelers to transfer their consciousness. Since they know exactly when and where their potential hosts die, it looks like they intervened and kept them from dying so that they can take control of their minds (while feeling morally superior because, well, they'd have died anyway). Which is why that detective didn't make a viable host (even though he was originally supposed to become one), with his heart attack having been an inevitable cause of death.

Dark Matter: 3x10 Built, Not Born

This episode was rather reminiscent of "Humans", the British android show based on a Swedish one.
It was very interesting to know more about Two's and the Android's (common) past. This show has always managed to keep us on our toes when it comes to the storyline (one of the strongest aspects of "Dark Matter", in my opinion).
Now, what are those shady androids up to...?

@misnomer To be completely honest, nah. I mean, I really enjoyed the Swedish version, but having watched the British one first, I guess my expectations were simply way too high. You could give it a shot, though, and check out the first two episodes or something.
I totally agree!
I love Suki the way she is, with all of her quirks and whatnot. So personally, I'm much more interested in how far and in what direction she'd be able to evolve/develop without any additional illegal mods (which, as she said, only acted like some sort of mask rather than genuine change); but solely by her own ambition and curiosity. Her attempting to learn how to smile in a mirror was hilarious.

@misnomer Having watched both the British and the Swedish versions of 'Human', I really appreciate this episode kind of nodding towards this format by strongly focusing on the android storyline. Nostalgia everywhere.
