The PTSD Storyline with those Soldiers...
Not so interesting...
But wonder where Ruso's Storyline is heading.
Taking his time with Davids family was a nice move.
Even if it wasn't appreciated.
There was much more Action this time around!
As they stole the car.
Bam, Bam, Bam... Like it!
The Granate O.o
I have to admit:
I think I would have peed myself as well.
Only seeing a glimpse of what's going on must be horrible.
Car chase... cool! :D
Getting his hands dirty.
Bad for him, that it was on the wrong person.
And Frank cares about people. For now.
I think we saw a little bit of his ruttlesness as he stole the car.
"Not our problem!"
The Punisher has Guns!
A fucking lot of them!
Can't wait to see how he uses them!^^
How does this at all related to the high republic period, we see nothing apart from these witches and stuff, so boring, the chanting part was like some musical, so cringe. Also witches supposed to use magic, not force, this is all wrong.
Good job making Jedi look evil and witches sweet & peaceful, what the actual f? Jedi never took away children without parents consent. Also kids are already too old, why would even Jedi test them, they are not supposed to be eligible at this age, why even bother?
So it was the Jedi who raided the place and burned it to the ground to kidnap the kids hence the guilt is it? What the f? Osha is super traumatized, conflicted, old, and too attached, 10 times worse than Anakin, why go this much effort for those boring twins? ZERO sense
Wookiee Jedi was the only good thing in this whole episode.
props to my boy Dylan G for holding that position for what seemed like an eternity!
Ahhhhhh i’m so happy they are not shying away from the tough conversations on what it means to be Captain America in this decade. I love symbolism in storytelling and there’s no stronger symbol than that shield, and the way they have used it as a vehicle and representative of the different American identities (good and (really) bad) has been incredible.
Steve Rogers, John Walker, Sam Wilson and Isaiah Bradley all represent sides of the US that co-exist, and John Walker being the effective Captain America for most of this show isn’t accidental - he’s the side of America that’s most present and salient right now (in the world off the screen), but ending the show with Sam Wilson carrying that shield - and going through all the issues that that might bring up - is as powerful a message as any - one of hope and of what the US should aspire to be. Steve Rogers is no longer enough, Steve Rogers is the American Dream - Isaiah Bradley the American Reality - and Sam Wilson is both. This show, and all of Captain America’s storyline, is about so much more than just men in spandex and they’ve done a fantastic job taking it even further here. Glad Marvel is still delivering after so many years, makes me proud to be a fan!
I aspire to have as much energy at 74 as Meryl Streep does.
I think we can all agree that Ben was actually talking to like a plate of cookies off camera and not a person in his dressing room. The question is then, who put them there and were they spiked?
Anyone else get Lucille and Buster Bluth vibes from Cliff and Donna?
“I come from television so I was trained to not question a script.”
Everything is not what it seems, so, I don't think Kimber did it, it is too soon to reveal the killer. I expect next episode they'll focus on Kimber but towards the end, focus will shift to someone else.
Meryl Streep and Ashley Park's voices in that lullaby was so great. Season 3 is amazing so far.
“I can’t cry.” “Why? Are you on Xanax?”
Theory: what if the two attempts on Ben's life were committed by two different people, potentially with unrelated motives?
I really liked Jesse and Selena's chemistry.
Broke in and out of prison in less than 48 hours? Eat your heart out Michael Scofield!
Seriously, out of all the people they kill Emily. So wrong. Should’ve killed Sacha, he’s a little shit who would’ve deserved it more.
Half The Mummy, half Legion, but not as charming as the former, nor as quirky as the latter. Nice ending, though.
Wrapping it up with the title "Captain America and the Winter Soldier" was a nice touch :)
And what do we learn from this?
Always keep a (stolen) diamond in your pockets, it might come in handy some time.
But there's noooo way that guy got to the precinct, them figuring out he was innocent, and made it all the way back there to abduct Raol. Such a silly plot hole, not happy. If there had been two guys, sure. But not like this.
I was ok with them including the pandemic in the storyline but at this point it is like they are not sure what to do with it anymore. We get all these moments where the pandemic is emphasized and then others where it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, like Kate choosing that specific moment to confront Marc or Randall deciding to travel and find out about his mom!
Now about that whole Kate/Marc story, the show gave us glimpses here and there and really took its time teasing us about Kate’s past but never divulging all the truth, and now it seems the reveal and resolution were rushed. Kate suddenly decides to confront Marc (during a pandemic nonetheless) and after one talk with him, she is suddenly free of an abusive past that has taken years of her life. She never even spoke about it! I mean good for her but how realistic is this? In one episode, she is triggered to remember her past, tells Toby the truth, stalks Marc, confronts him, and then done, chapter closed!
I still don’t like the whole Randall’s mom story but I am kind of curious to see what will be the reason for her not looking up William or her son all these years?
Kevin calling Randall for advice really got me all teared up… BUT what is going with his storyline? The whole disagreement between him and Madison really came out of nowhere! It is not like she suddenly discovered that he is an actor, and Kevin really doesn’t travel that much! Specifically, it came right after she pushed him to accept the location change of his latest movie. Why can’t you just sit and talk and maybe come to some agreement, like she can stay with the kids in LA and Kevin can travel back and forth when needed. One line that cracked me up though was when she told him “you come from a family of great speech-givers.” :joy:
Awesome season starter. That final shot tho... wow
A bit predictable, but still a good episode, and looking forward to next season ... I mean series.
The actor who plays young Saul was an amazing casting choice.
I'm enjoying season 2, but Ryan had many opportunities to shoot and decided to wait until the last moment. That's just not very believable to me.
I'm so glad Mindhunter is back! It felt like a really long wait...
The first season was absolutely mesmerising, and this second one is off to a slow, but solid start. I feel it's going to be very Holden-centric.
Also, now we have two Fringe actors on this show, which makes me hopeful that, by season 5, we'll have a main cast reunion :D
Why does damaged characters like Billy always get me soft. I hope they’ll be able to save him, and that all that he went through will change him for the better, and he won’t just go back to the asshole he was before.
Terrific episode - I loved how it was almost like a mini horror film thanks to that creepy guy Villanelle met at the supermarket.
Jesus Christ! I can’t remember to feel so tense watching a tv show episode as I felt here. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for season 2!!!!
Adam Scott physically trying to make his eyes kind
What's in the damn photograph?!?
Hope Siobhan gets her own spin off. Just kidding, can you imagine. Episode 7 will finally answer the question on everyone's mind: will Siobhan go to Berkeley!! I know she is the only way Mare can deal with her grief that she has been avoiding but Siobhan's storyline feels like filler, and her scenes are bad. I start scrolling on my phone whenever her side story starts up.
Mare going out to arrest a suspect with no backup like she didn't just lose a friend and colleague last week? I'm kinda annoyed that she hasn't learned her lesson.
That bathtub scene was unnecessary. Definitely a cheap suspense scene. I know it's to show Carrie is not ready and she will need Mare and her mom's help to raise Drew. I get it, but still it's was a little too much.
When the penultimate episode of a murder mystery ends with the protagonist saying, "X character was the killer", I feel like it's safe to say that X was not the killer. John is definitely hiding something. He knew Lori would tell Mare. He is pinning the murder on Billy. I think in the next episode John is going to kill his brother and frame it as a suicide. John has to the baby's father, and the murder weapon is Mare's fathers gun that is stashed in the attic "where no one goes anymore".
Kate Winslet and Jean Smart are an amazing team. All of their scenes, comedy or drama, are :fire:.
Is it possible that Guy Pearce is just a normal and regular dude Mare met at a bar? Hmm. There must be a reason a random stranger shows up in the plot.
Why did this episode feel like a long and boring commercial for car seats?
I’m still trying to piece this together but failing miserably. Here’s what I’ve got:
They (the cult members) are angels. They were once living but after death come back to do God’s will. Leanne, like her Uncle and the other cult members, is an angel. She died (we saw her grave) but at some point after she came back she decided of her own accord to come to Dorothy and Sean, to restore Jericho to them, which wasn’t her mission. The baby she brought to them really was Jericho, returned from the dead just like her, her uncle, the other cult members, etc (the angels). The cult has taken Jericho because he’s supposed to be with them, his kind. Dorothy is sinning in that she keeps trying to interfere with the angels’ work and therefore (in their view) keeps meddling with God’s plan.
Wow. Well, I hate Andy.
That was part of Anikin's pod racer!
Is Dr. Walter Bischop Billy Butcher’s dad?!
Fring for thought!

- Stormfront, 2020
When Kimiko kills Stormfront I'm going to enjoy it SO much.
