As a Turkish person, I can verify that most of the Turkish stuff in this show is accurate. They used Turkish actors and proper Turkish dialogue which isn't something you see on every show. Even the Turkish songs are VERY well-placed.
Social experimentation... Humans like rats in a maze... Evil corporation bent on world domination (maybe)... Mmm, pizza! Me likey!
Dark Season 1 & 2: “Things can’t get any more complicated than this”
Dark Season 3: “Hold my beer”
A show that went from 10 to 100 in 4 episodes! Fantastic, be patient and go through the first episodes you will be greatly rewarded.
Please do not give a second season, don’t ruin it. Leave it and it will become a sci-fi classic.
I really enjoy it so far, two episodes in at this point. It feels a little Being John Malkovich mixed with Ben's Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Mind f* and retro-modern techno wierd. Exactly how I like it
For me this is the winner for this year's Golden Globes, a series that was not heard at all, It has not the glamour of squidgame or 100.000.000 people saw it, it is a marvellous diamond.
After the excellent Dr. Death, a corresponding theme series that is simply a masterpiece. You do not know what to praise first, the incredible script, the director tricks with the back and forth and where you are that now we saw this and then takes you even further back to show you how he reached in this part of the story! I do not live in the US so i don't know the actual impact and valid facts only what i've seen from movies/shows about OxyContin but the presentation was amazing.
Special mention to Kaitlyn Dever who since she left that miserable politicised comedy she was playing and after the amazing Unbelievable, she now gives another excellent dramatic performance.
This is a MUST see.
Haunting, breathtakingly unique puzzle box from Stephen King and Pablo Larrain that has all the hallmarks of both at their best. Great performances from across the board - and whilst King stories tend to fizzle out with a whimper rather than a bang, the signs are strong for this on that it won't suffer the same fate. Dane DeHaan is appropriately sinister, and the high-budget production makes it look better than most movies.
Don’t really understand the poor ratings. Beautiful unique story, nicely filmed, great acting by everyone.
I love THEM for sure
“Your birth is my birth, your death is my death”
Just masterpiece fucking happens. Probably the best Netflix production until now.
What an absolute masterpiece! Probably the best time travel story ever told.
Not only the best Netflix show, but one of the best shows ever. A masterpiece.
Easily one of the best TV shows I've seen in my life and I don't say this lightly. What an amazing, thrilling, complicated, and moving ride from beginning to end. THIS is how you make a show, THIS is how you engage your audience, THIS is how you get us to think about so many things, THIS is how you tell a story about love, loss, choices, time travel, life. Amazing! Truly amazing, worth every single minute and I can't wait to watch it again.
Greatest Sci-Fi show of all time!!
I think everyone knows "The Twilight Zone", where this weird mystic story ends badly. Then there's the opposite - "Amazing Stories" (https://trakt.tv/shows/amazing-stories-2020), were weird mystic story has quite a happy ending. And then there's this - something in between the two and also every episode is related in one way or the other (unlike the two mentioned before).
Silicon Valley meets The Office (US)... halfway. Halfway but still pretty good and funny
I don’t consider myself to be a gamer and I don’t think the target audience is only gamers. It’s more about (game) development and the human interactions in such an office :joystick::boom::man::desktop_computer:
Ps: only watched 3 episodes so far...
One of the best sitcoms ever! I love this show so much!
This show is awesome. The first episode you wonder how they are going to do more than 3 episodes on the subject. After the 3rd episode you just want to listen to the "previously on braindead" song. Good writing, good acting, funny moments, awkward situations and unexpected tensions are what makes this show great.
Great show. Season 2 took it to another level. John Cho was at his best.
This is easily the best horror show to come along in quite some time. It's a real shame it hasn't gotten more exposure; if you're a fan of solid theological horror, definitely check this one out!
after 1st season I was cautiously optimistic and a bit bored but boyyyyy, 2nd season is a-ma-zing! the acting is spectacular (Maron, Brie, Gilpin, oh god), the characters are slowly but surely developed, wrestling is honestly entertaining, can't wait for season 3! (if it doesn't get renewed I WILL RIOT)
I enjoyed Season 1 for the most part.. enough to get me to watch Season 2. I am very glad I did, Season 2 was absolutely superb. It took everything good about season 1 and made it better. Brie and Moran were amazing all season long. The transformation of Moran's character was 10/10.
They should make Ortega the main character and change the show's title to Altered Cabrón.
The trailer alone was enough to pull me in but now that I watched she show in total I can say that this is one of the best things out there. It's bold and funny, harsh and weird. James and Alyssa are such great characters and the actors portray them so well, there is real chemistry between them.
The story has a nice pace that covers everything without stalling or overtelling. It's something you can easily watch in one go.
I completely fell in love with it from start to finish.
Very well done visuals in combination with good music choice . The series shows a very complicated plot. You have to listen carefully and follow throughout every second to fully understand what is happening. The end leaves options. The choice of actors was very well! Especially Noah.
Worth the watch. I was worried it would end without resolution, but it resolves about as well as you can expect for a show that only ran one season. Better as a binge than it would have been with an episode a week. Complex, sophisticated story telling for network TV.
