Bran: I can never be Lord of Winterfell, I can never be Lord of anything, I'm the Three-eyed Raven.
Also Bran: I'm the King.
Movies like this are the reason I watch movies. The film doesn't promise you anything, and the plot sounds kind of silly. It even starts out a little weak, but it draws you in and doesn't let go, and by the end you don't even care that you just watched a movie that all took place in a small room. Amazing film.
i typically struggle remembering the family trees but now there's a whole ass new world with different families and damn... i'm gonna struggle big time
[7.1/10] I gotta admit, LWT is getting a little predictable. The opening round-up was a solid enough overview of the week's news, but nothing that different than other comedian commentators have offered. His bit about Chuck Schumer's repetitive graduation speeches was an amusing bit, but the show's done the same schtick for John McCain's jokes.
And the main story, about modern day China, was a nicely done broad overview of the country's recent history, but (a.) Oliver had a hard time squeezing the show's humor into some tough topics and (b.) as soon as we saw the silly China-produced commercial for its infrastructure project, I just knew LWT would have its own parody at the end of the episode.
There's nothing wrong with the show, or even this episode, but it may simple be that nearly five seasons in, the formula of this once-refreshing alternative to the late night political comedy scene is starting to become more evident to long-time viewers like yours truly.
"My pain was selfish, because it was never only mine. For everybody in this place, there was someone who mourned their loss. Even if they didn't know why." - Akecheta
You know those shows where the main character does EVERYTHING wrong and you scream at the television the entire time? Be prepared. It's exactly like that.
"I was determined to leave this world but I wouldn't leave it without her." - Akecheta
I just feel bad for that poor guy. In one world is his eye, in the other, his arm... I really wouldn't like to be him across the multiverse
Hank truly is my favorite character. Glad he got much more screentime. Well done character development with him getting upset at Barry and pushing Barry to do the job, cold like. Although the pop music when Hank gets back into his car was perfectly in character for him and made me laugh :joy:
I also thought Barry's scene explaining his first kill was a great addition to his backstory.
You know how Kick Ass was such a great film and then the second one was a bomb because we'd seen it all before? Well, guess what -- you won't have that impression at all with Deadpool 2. The jokes are funnier and the action is action...ier. What's more, we don't have to Wade through all of the back origin story so this film cuts straight to the chase. I rated the first Deadpool 9/10, and this one 8/10 because it is slightly derivative and the final scene goes on a tad too long, but honestly, if I'd seen this one first I'd have given it a 9.
Yeah, this is science fiction at his best. The fact that the entire movie plays inside a living room that there are no special effects and that all they do is talk does not make this a bad movie. With the right cast and script it could be good and in this movie they played it out to perfection. The director made the right choice by doing it this way. any other way would have failed miserably. The idea that one man could live thousands of years wandering around the world meeting historical people and being someone that made a huge impact on the world himself is inspiring.
Funny, touching and great fun. I might even like it more than the Karate Kid movies.
So.
I cried.
A lot.
And it made me so f mad and angry.. I will not be having a kid for a long time yet..
Ah! Mads: a delight to watch as always.
I love the thought behind this. Valuable history lesson in a futuristic setting
I loved this movie with all my heart!!Finally a main female character with a great personality..
This is great quality drama, as you'd expect from the BBC, just sad they had to go with the tired old trope of male bodyguard sleeping with his subject, but I suspected it was coming when the titles highlighted the word 'body'
I LOVE SNOWCONE THE REINDEER.
Make no mistake. This is not a great movie. But somehow I enjoyed it. Maybe it's a combination of Dolby Vision + good music. It's just beautiful to look at. I would definitely watch the sequel Ibiza 2: Tokyo!
I don't watch many animated movies but this one took my heart. It has really great story line and great work.
One of the best New Girl episodes ever. Filled with heart and some laughs. Loved the crepe flip scene -- I wonder how many times it took to get that shot. :)
And again in this episode, Dr. Dumont proves she's a complete idiot. If you have a mentally ill dangerous fugitive in your house, is not it logical that you have the precaution of watching him for the good of others? Billy Russo like any ordinary person, being one of the most wanted criminals in the huge city of New York, can go out for a few drinks as if nothing. Pff!
The most amazing movie I have ever watched. I feel very special that I get to watch this movie.
Hoping to figure out which side should i be on in coming seasons.
A decent beginning with good casting. My only gripe is that it's hard to believe that a couple of seemingly harmless kids trespassing on a sat dish would result in anything more than a routine report, if that. But here, it sets off a bunch of red flags that somehow make it into a report that makes its way to the bad guys in just three days? That's a bit of a stretch. Something had to bring in the outside world, sure, but this was a pretty weak way to do it.
Skam has my heart. MASTERPIECE
Amazing, full of laughs, full of tears. Optimisitic in the end.
You must see it.
I adore Ruth, she's a combination of almost everyone in the show.
