I thought so low about this. That bc of the main actor it would be a comedy or just another cop show which I was done bc of the schematic eps and so little insights with the main cast. Well I was soo wrong! It's so entertaining and maybe sometimes naive but mainly it just show you that you don't have to be tough and a handsome hunk to be great at the cop thing. John doesn't look like a cop, doesn't act like a cop really. He's naive, he's a teddy bear almost but he's gonna move mountains to change a 'crook' when he sees the person has potential.
I don't understand how the hell so many women are so into him which is hilarious. As well with the fact he's a rookie.
The comedy is there but the cases feel fresh and many times I didn't know how they will turn out and I have seen many cop shows. The romantic relationships feel fake to me and I couldn't feel anything for pretty much all of the relationships, not only with Nolan (maybe when he was with Jess but the relationship was mainly off screen and in the end felt rushed butthe chemistry was there at the beginning, love the actress, sad they didn't show her more). The relationships between the officers on the other hand. By the finale of the 2nd season I saw many scenes so believable I was rooting for the characters I didn't even like just bc they all really started to feel like a family. Boots and TOs. It's really outstanding for me. I feel hangover now (watch the entire show in 2 days) and I want to watch more cp shows but I know there aren't any like that.
I am content. I always thought I needed more intense and dramatic end to Scandal but we had 2 dramatic and tense episodes earlier. The whole season was pretty much resolved very quickly. Olivia's fight with the Gladiators was about one "bad" decision, not like any of them made so much bad decisions and killed so many, right? The reconciliation was in return very slow considering how quickly they all wanted to burn her. Yet, when they all started working together it was exactly old Scandal as I loved which made me so happy and that's why I am content. It could be worse, like the finale of The Good Wife...
I am still so confused why I like Jake. He's so awesome when he's good but so revolting when he's bad. He was always my favourite bad character as he wasn't all bad and Olivia still to the end cared about him. Even at the end he couldn't be caged. He was calm and able to be in that happy place in his memories of when I loved him so much.
I only wanted Cyrus to be dead or imprisoned. I even thought he would kill himself when he was talking with Olivia about a drink.
And Eli.... That's a great character as well. We still don't know if he's a mastermind who was so bad and yet at the end tricked everyone to have his daughter back, or maybe he's crazy?
This end is a subjective one bc we don't really know anything. What was Olivia's painting at the end? Did Jake really got imprisoned? Will being yet again thrown out of the WH do anything for Cyrus to become a better person or at least feel it as a punishment? Your guess is as good as mine.
I just wish a better ending scene with Liv and Fitz, in bed, marriage, working together... anything else.
I thought it cannot be good. ChicagoFire all the way and Grey's Anatomy started to be boring couple seasons before. I was incorrect, the first episode bought me, but the couple eps in, the action, so fast paced but balanced with the drama and the personal plots of the characters? Is there anything this shoe doesn't have? Well maybe 24 episodes bc 10 is just a joke. I would compromise at 14-16 episodes, not 10. After the finale i was soooo remembering the good first 8-9 finales of GA, so dramatic, so filled with action and it made me cry for those who would probably be revealed dead at season 2. I only know them from 10 episodes and already don't want to lose them. That's got to say sth.
I think it's certainly for those who didn't understand the hype of the original like me. To each their own... I didn't like the first ep but after the 2nd I was hooked.
I teared up, Ive heard all I wanted too hear for Lucy. It felt like were going to have a series finale in this season which makes me even more horrified about 6th season. It felt amazing although I would want to see a little more God spaced throughout the season or season not all bunch up together. Nevertheless God and Charlotte will be forever my favorite guest characters!
All the giggles aside... "Dad.. do you love us?" It broke me. And Tom's voice saying that...
This ep bought my attention. It had everything lacking in Ray Donovan which I sooo wanted to like.
Ok, i love the lore about the Flame and Becca as always. But so many plotholes that i can't even.... How every Heda know Becca but didnt remember this? What hapoened with the spacerock from the bunker? Do they want Clarke just bc theyve stopped watching Octavia mind when they saw Clarke taking the Flame but they dont know they really need Madi?
I mean it had the whole deal. Great working together, some plot twists, a secret, and a potential romance. As well as a moment in which we can all be remembered that Quake is a human and she needs to be saved a little once in a while. I think Sousa needed to see her as a vulnerable dame. But oh wow the "plenty of fight left in you after all"... I think I gasped at this exact moment. Quake never stops to amaze me. As I recently rewatched Agent Carter just for this I see Peggy and Daisy as similar in the 'badass woman' 'don't need a man' kind of way but I think Daisy after all that she went through still has this breeze of innocence and happiness and a childlike vibe. I would love to see her influence on Daniel. I mean, the scene with the picture in the previous ep? That is just the tip of what it could be.
And again, this time in some way I predicted his death bc this show does that but still I was somehow shocked which gives points for this show. Even if you're on the track of things you still can be surprised.
This was the best oe of the three. It lacked in plot tho. But it was so enjoyable, without stupid childish drama from previous ones. Awesome!
This movie went in EVERY direction it could. After half of the movie I was already out of ideas... it's something!
I can say everything about this season being the worst and the most boring but it still surprises me with the quickest turns and worst deaths. Yeah, this one was nice.
It was different. Trailer didn't hyped me up. First 30 mins and I knew it's not my cup of tea but oh boy I love my friend who suggested me to keep watching. After this 30 min the atmosphere of horror disappeared for me and then I started to be interested. The most interesting parts are the ridiculous things that will keep a vampire far from you. After 3rd episode I know now why was it like that but Ive never thought about such an explanation. Yet, the 2nd episode was for me the best. Ive never read Agatha Christie novels but it felt like I think the books make people feel :D I was so focused on finding the little things I was seriously unaware of the biggest ones. Not many things can surprise me nowadays. 3rd episode wasnt very interesting. In the wake of so many vampire stories I was merely watching to compare everything. The revealing of sth at the cemetery scene was interesting... but the ending. Im so sad it was shown in such haste and almost confusion. It lacked maybe only 5 mins but I was surprised and thats the point. Agatha is my animal spirit... I wish!
Looooooove this! OMG! I live for such moments!!!
The second season was FAR better. First was about ppl in space pretty much, astronauts and their problems. The second was about life which is everywhere. I love different species, planets and the last message ?! Ok, it was cliche but it was beautiful and really unexpected seeing what happened this season. I teared up and I love it !
A little bit too slow at the first half, also there were some dumb decisions from intelligent people that i couldn't believe which made me annoyed for a long time.
At least it had a moment when I was shocked and sitting on the edge although it was a sure thing Beth's gonna live. I'm happy with the ending where she admitted she likes this life. And Rio... ofcourse I'm happy with Rio tho I could use a blatant confession of his feelings :D But well, we never got a reaveal of why he did what he did every time he made a decision.
I'm happy I got a better ending than in Good Wife. I've felt some vibes of Good Wife in Good Girls, maybe bc here as well Beth was all the time with her husband for no good reason than her kids. So I've feared the same ending or similar bad one. I'm happy with what I've got.
Tho I still wish I could watch more seasons !
It has potential, sad i wont see a second season. I understand it was too slow for ppl to last. I wasn't interested in the recollections until the very end journey and they felt like the majority of episodes. Pretty much I was only interested in Chloe's story but it had so little screen time it felt like nothing really changed from the beginning. The end was interesting and it's why I'm bummed I won't see a second season.
We should get more superhero serious stuff not the comedic ones where every joke is the same. I hate that these ones have so many seasons. Ppl like dumb entertainment.
It was 10/10 from the beginning 'till like 10th ep. Pretty much when the main pair got together finally after so many interruptions the story started to be repeatitive, simple and cliche. No suspense really. Yeon was what got me through although he too became shallow after 9 eps. Every character had one motivation and 'nothing else matters', always hiding their plans which made the end death so predictable. And ofc the happy ending was most lucky and unbelivable. BUT all in all... nice fairy tale with some memorable fynny quotes from Yeon and fights. Wish it had more paranormal beings at the end.
After seeing 5th episode I HAVE TO tell everyone this is not a filler episode!!!! Pls don't be discouraged and watch it with the knowledge that it is not the episode you wanna skip.
I have a hate-love relationship with those mindfucks about different time and time jumps and all.
I really love figuring out who is when but sometimes my head hurts xD
Omg finally sanctum shit goodbye and off with everyone important going o to new planets, different times and all .
As someone who doen't know really about 'Nancy Drew' I liked the supernatural the most. Nancy as a character was growing on me slowly and I can admit I love that she's more centered, calm, and adult. The rest of the crew falls so flat in comparison. I mean, Nancy too had some bad and too quick decisions (which killed some people) but it's like she's 25 and the rest is 15. I like the twist (like the parental thing) which is the only thing I am looking for in the next season bc the other character that I like was found dead, so I have only Nancy now.
It bugged me at the beginning that it really reminded me of Riverdale, not anything specific but overall. Which is not sth I look forward too as I left Riverdale at this point at the half of it's run and I fear Nancy Drew will slowly degrade as Riverdale did. But this show at this point is just 'ok' to me, not like Riverdale was during the 1st season. It has some nice things but the characters don't really matter for me.
I saw many ppl immediately didn't like this bc of the CW, I must say it's definitely not the same CW that produced Shadowhunters (God, no!) and The Vampire Diaries. I feel it tries to be more adult, not taking the characters during the school years and that stuff, but for now it seems they don't yet know how to adult really.I have to see more to know exactly.
It's an adaption but good enough for ppl like me who never read the books. There was enough story to believe in what drives the characters and in their falling in love even tho there is only 6 eps and their relationship changes many times.
It's not much original nor fresh. There is so many of books/tv shows with most of the plot that Maxton Hall uses but it was interesting enough to see completely the German actors and their portrayal of such stories.
Nooo! It was actually kind of interesting and I wanted to know more. And it's cancelled now? :(
It wasnt a good horror, or suspense even. But I give 7 for the chemistry between actors, even tho Evie was so naive a woman living in NY shouldn't, probably more so a black woman.
It was like a great depiction of Dracula for the very faint of heart xD
I really pitied the main actress and Lee pace about being in such a movie while watching it but the end made it like a satarical of a thriller? It really made the whole expirience very different. It's sort of 'you need to hear the story to the end' kind xD
It was a nice ending to the fresh first movie and forgettable sequel. I had low expectations and Salma Hayek? Here? But how come Salma and Channing have such a great chemistry? It was more of a romance movie with a dance plot. Tho, I watched a lot of dance movies and these dances, whether to be strip dances or a usual kind of dances... this wasn't it. At that point i was so hoping for a grand finale and this didnt deliver. However, the many many slides on a watered scene were interesting.
All in all, not a bad movie. From low expectations its a challenge to feel bad.
I was in tears when Jackson was talking with Mer, I am in tears every time they mention Andrew... But it does say that this ep was good in a way so i can be mad. One of the better ones this season, makes me hopeful after s16 which wasnt really that good either. It still isn't GA good but good enough to make me want to see the next ep.
