Funny how Hunter always ends the episode with "and another one starts right now", but it was the end of the season. Gotta wait a year! (Except that I only saw it now so it's only like a week or two, haha)
The book was great, just incredible. The show on the other hand... if you plan to watch it, (and you should: it's good on its own.) I highly recommend you to not read the book first. It'll be a huge letdown otherwise.

The moment David mentioned that his mom was not in the picture, I suspected Grace to be his mom. And then when Grace and Maggie talked later about her being in a relationship and with child before, I was sure, haha.

I watched half of the episode a pretty long while ago, and while it's only 2 seasons of 6 half-length episodes, it just isn't for me.
I didn't think it was funny. It was cringy, bad, awful. Better watch Full House instead, if you want laughs! :)
Book adaptation done amazingly well! So, read the book, and watch the movie! But be sure to bring tissues. You'll need them.

Overall pretty great. But I didn't feel it was all that necessary for the company to not be medical anymore, to be... evil war people. That just made it too unbelievable.

Saw this at the Netherlands Film Festival last week, and reading this was from the directors of Belgian movie Black, I thought this one would be just as superb. Unfortunately, at least for me, it just wasn’t. Whether it was the Dutch setting or the fact that the characters were just too............ stupid, greedy and whatnot. This just didn’t have the magic Black had.
Oh if you liked this, and if you did not, do check out their other movie Black, you will not be disappointed!
