This is just one big cryfest. No matter how many times you've seen it.
Overall pretty great. But I didn't feel it was all that necessary for the company to not be medical anymore, to be... evil war people. That just made it too unbelievable.
Saw this at the Netherlands Film Festival last week, and reading this was from the directors of Belgian movie Black, I thought this one would be just as superb. Unfortunately, at least for me, it just wasn’t. Whether it was the Dutch setting or the fact that the characters were just too............ stupid, greedy and whatnot. This just didn’t have the magic Black had.
Oh if you liked this, and if you did not, do check out their other movie Black, you will not be disappointed!
Lovely movie for the whole family. Reminded me quite a bit of Finding Neverland. :)
I missed this one in cinemas so i am super happy to catch it this year at the rooftop cinema this spring/summer! I am certain it will be amazing.
For me, this didn't beat the original, but I did love me some Groot <3 And again, outstanding music!
Wow! This was so screwed up! When the cop planted that evidence, I really thought he was the bad guy.
When Georges (Robert Pattinson) walked out of that church at the end, I thought his skin was gonna sparkle as diamonds like in Twilight, haha!
All in all, entertaining movie, especially since I love such period/costume dramas.
I think this was the only short of the Holland Animation Film Festival opening night with a real narrative/storyline, and after looking up some information on the internet, I found out there will be a sequel titled "Mirror Lake". I can't wait for it and find out what's gonna happen.
I liked this short. It was a bit longer than the rest of the program and looked very pretty. The little bird was adorable.
I saw this three short three (!) times during the Holland Animation Film Festival. I thought it was very, very well done. I'm amazed that people are actually skilled enough to create something like this.
Last movie of the Holland Animation Film Festival opening night. For me, it was a bit too flashy/in your face. I thought; "Oh god, what if someone in the audience has epilepsy?" The short was just a little bit too long for comfort, and the alternating black/white and negative frames got annoying pretty fast because of the flashes. Even when closing my eyes.
Saw it at opening night of the Holland Animation Film Festival. I liked it, it looked like the scribbles/drawings in the sidelines of someones Math homework came to life!
I saw this on Netflix yesterday while preparing some delicious lasagna. She's funny, I like her. I seem to like female comedians over male ones anyway. (Ali Wong, Iliza Shlesinger etc)
I was kind of thinking it would turn out to be all a dream after that moment with the windmill, when Victor screamed for Sparky who was still inside, that he'd lost his dog again and that he'd wake up and everything that happened after his dog died was just him dreaming, that he'd never tried to bring Sparky back to life.
I noticed this movie was leaving Netflix NL soon, and since it is in the top 20 on IMDb, I thought it must be great.
But I quit it after 36 minutes..... I do like con/heist movies and such (The Italian Job, Focus, Ocean's Eleven etc), so I thought, this must be right up my alley... but meh :( Hugely disappointed. It just seemed to go too slow-paced for my taste.
Funny movie with some nice music!
I loved all those references to other Disney movies. Made it that much more fun to watch :)
Faith is the smart of them all, whoa. I totally didn't recognise Vanessa Hudgens there.
I always like seeing Lcu Caplan, but this movie could've been better.
Just having read the book when the movie got its theatrical release, all I was thinking is; "omg, it's so different from the book, so different from the book."
But it was an okay watch.
Even fairy world has mean girls. My heart breaks!
Lovely movie though <3
I usually like those French Canal+ co-productions, but this one was meh. I like guys with guns and all the violence, but this was... senseless. Or so it seemed.
Computers don't make mistakes, people do! :-)
Great movie ^_^
Seen in Dutch movie theatre. I most liked the second part of the movie.
The Dutch subs were horrible though. I don't know if they are usually supplied by the production company or distributor, or if the theatre arranges it, but whoever is was, they did a poor job. Seems like they forgot certain words 'cause sentences did not make sense and furthermore they left out spaces regulary. Sometimes a whole sentence had to be read without spaces, sometimes just part of it. But it got pretty annoying fast.
"I just got her number, how do you like them apples?"
"Give us a kiss!"-joke
Great laughs ^_^
Really laughed during the Chef Louis scenes!
Gotta love Disney songs <3
I didn't really like the original, but liked this movie a bit more :)
I can't really recall the first movie.... But that voice/accent of the huntsman is just horrible. Is that Chris' real, own voice or what. Omg.
Certainly not the best Disney-Pixar movie ever made :|
