Confusing plot - it doesn't seem to have consistency to what it wants to achieve. The ending seems supposed to be a cliffhanger but didn't leave viewers with anything to be wondering for. Some scenes are wasted with talks that gives neither character development nor plot progression. The acting and visuals were good, though it doesn't save the movie from its flaws.
the photography of this episode was on point
It should be noted that the show had to cut 2 episodes worth of content from the original 10 episodes order due to dissatisfaction with the materal produced, so if this episode feels not satisfying enough for a season finale... well, now you know why.
This show is so fucking weird and I'm so here for it.
I had really high expectations for this show and I must say it delivered in every sense. Everything is perfectly done from writing, cinematography to acting. Especially casting is spectacular! For me Michael Sheen stands out the most, his performance as Aziraphale is absolutely adorable. The show is very true to the book as well, so if you're a fan, you will definitely love this.
10/10 from me. I highly recommend it for binge-watching!
The judges' critiques seemed overly hard on Vanjie and Brooke Lynn to create this final lipsync that pits them against each other. Top 4 should have been Brooke Lynn, Vanjie, Yvie, and A'Keria. Silky should have been sent home last episode and that's the tea.
I'm seeing some negative reactions in here. Well, I quite liked it tbh. Had me glued to the screen the whole time. Maybe I don't remember the quality of seasons 1-5 or maybe I'm just happy with little, who knows. Everyone seems to hate this season and I have to say I'm not 100% happy with it. BUT. I really liked this episode. Anyway, what can I say.
earpods still look ridiculous :-D
How about that ending, huh? I got chills. This moral conflict that Lucifer is facing is brilliantly written and acted.
I have to say, the fact that this season is only 10 episodes works much better in my opinion than the 22 we've gotten used to. There's no room for fillers, no need to drag out the Eve drama for 17 episodes straight, which makes for a much better, concise storytelling.
I never expected Lucifer to tackle police brutality and racism, but I think they handled it very well. It's heartbreaking to see Amenadiel go from loving humanity to not wanting to raise his son on Earth anymore.
Never thought I'd see Lucifer and Ella strutting butt naked into a nudist resort, but first time for everything I guess.
Dan seriously needs to fuck off. All he's done so far this season is mop around and be an asshole to everyone. He needs to stop blaming Lucifer for Charlotte's death. And he's seriously mad that an unarmed police consultant (whose supernatural powers Dan isn't aware of) let an armed murderer and human trafficker go? Nah, son. Get out of here with this shit.
Maze just made me cry in this episode. Remember what she was like in the pilot? She's changed so much since then and I love it.
So Lucifer is back to embracing his devil side. Eve is a bad influence on him and I'm sure it's not gonna end well.
"Privileged rich white girl" ends up being the scapegoat for the minority issues plaguing the firm.
I loved that scene with Lucca and the lady accusing her of kidnapping the baby. Give me more morbidly sarcastic Lucca, please!
Also I'm glad this show features Eli Gold's daughter- we never saw enough of her in TGW.
Michael Sheen was just ridiculous here. Fentanyl lolipops? Suborning perjury?
The best part was when the judge cracked.
Oh, man... That was some fun crazy ass junkie arrogant narcissistic lawyer! Poor Maia... But the scene where she puts on her swag goggles from the previous episode was the perfect ending for her!
The judge was hilarious, too, watching him progressively break was so much fun!
Diane in the snake pit was a segment outrageously underused, though... That had the potential for so much more.
Usually I dislike this kind of romantic dramatic movies, but this one, even with a lot of cliches and predictable scenes was amazing.
the ending is not that much of a cliches, and all together is a really good movie
Glenn Close single-handedly keeps this ship above water. It's worth sitting through one of Disney's original live-action rehashings of an animated classic just to watch her Devil Wears Prada scene-chewing.
I would love it if at the end of each season (assuming there will be more) that they would do one episode, repeating the indiviual lessons marie gives. It would be nice to have them repeated and also so you don't have to look back and search within each episode back to the lesson you would want to repeat when you get to doing them.
I enjoyed this episode a lot and made me realize Israel and Palestine was not the first time that British Empire made a massive mess, the fact that this is what led to the present is heartbreaking.
I also love how this episode villain turns out not to be the alien but instead bigotry and xenophobia. It's tragic and definitely by far best episode I've seen of this season. The speech that the boyfriend makes could very well be spoken in modern America.
My favorite parts were when the Doctor was just prattling on about the tea or later about random stuff at Yaz'z place.
oh wow. didnt even realize this is the last episode until it was over. im going to slowly crumble until the next season starts, and hope to god it doesnt get cancelled
this season was a huge improvement in that they now have a better plot, and liv tyler is a fantastic addition. im quite sad fallon is dead. even though he was trash, i liked his character. now i suppose the main villain is blayne
and boy am i glad that quigly is in bedlam. i doubt she'll get out, and im guessing from how much we saw of her main harlot, she's gonna be the one dealing in her place with blayne and his men.
cant wait.
Is it wrong that I feel such satisfaction watching that witch locked up in the looney bin?!
there is something so awfully interesting about lucy and fallon to me. I would read a whole novel on that dynamic
I feel this film was more heartwarming and sweet than the first. Great cast, great special effects that don't even feel like effects,
Cool episode. But the singing part was just awkward.
This movie tries very hard to bring the same feelgood vibe as the first Mummy, but it fails throughout. I can't really nail it down, because it's got everything it needs: ancient villain, interesting backstory, over the top action and chases, cheesy dialogue and oneliners, unrealistic storyline, pretty nice special effects and romantic interests.
The only thing I guess is missing is some soul. I didn't really laugh once, I didn't care who won the end battle, I didn't worry if the main character would get hurt, I didn't feel any romance/chemistry between any of the characters. I just missed the fun.
Even the badass looking yeti's/dragons/hellhounds/zombies (I could go on..) couldn't make this right. This whole film just felt too formulaic and empty.
The Mummy is an action adventure movie that does exactly what it set out to do. The CGI hasn't aged well but the action still works. The characters don't get a lot of attention and the acting is nothing special but the film is still very fun to watch.
This episode is so important. For this show alone it proves that this show is doing important things for not only the LGBT community, but the world. I’m a sobbing mess.
I AM DEVASTATED. I really love kameron and cracker, but I think cracker deserved one more chance it was her first lypsinc
