Tad more obvious and over-explained than the other episodes, but still a very worthwhile concept.
I wasn't a huge fan of how similar this was to Episode 2 which did the concept of "foreign party controlling what you see/hear" a lot better. The analogy was a bit too on the nose in those one. Yes, it's a metaphor for the Holocaust. We get it.
I'm not going to lie - I had a few tears in my eyes. Two grandmas who fall in love with each other just before they die - It was impossible for me to not get a bit emotional (´;ω;`)
Hit like if you taped your laptop's camera (or considered it) after watching this episode lol
I watched this after I saw an article about it's feminism which I found really empowering. I was disappointed how Elle worked so hard for a boy that clearly didn't deserve her but after a while I realised that this was a pivotal plot point to show her journey as a character. I think it communicated great messages especially about how everyone should be taken seriously in their goals and that everyone's interests are important and everyone has something to offer. It's far from free of cliches but that doesn't take away it's position as a great film for empowerment.
oh mah gah
THAT ENDING THO!
PHI PHI TALKING SHIT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ALYSSA!
BYE GIRL
Not sure how to review or comment on this movie but with MEH... because it was just that. It's a movie to watch on a slow lazy day to be honest. Nothing too special or exciting happening in it. Unless you are a huge undying fan of Bradley Cooper, or a cooking fanatic, you could pass on seeing this. There are better movies out right now to spend your time watching that are more worthwhile in my opinion.
From now on, I'm gonna call my tablet of "a book of light"
I was expecting the Doctor and the Tardis to appear any moment.
Claire running around in her high heels and out running a T-REX is the most ridiculous thing I ever saw in a movie. Almost killed all illusion of disbelief...
Maybe I expected too much from this, but I found it rather dull. It was too family friendly in my opinion. They needed to make it more horror like with blood & gore scenes. The CGI on the dinosaurs looked really impressive, but other than that this movie needed more dark and heart stopping moments.
After one hour of just people arguing backstage, I fell asleep.
If you don't already (roughly) know about the events portrayed in the movie, you will probably be quite lost. No introduction of characters and their role. It rather resembles a chamber play, focussing mostly on exploring the details of of Steve Jobs character, not telling "The Apple Story". If you're looking for this, you should probably watch one of the other biopics.
I should have done my research beforehand, since I was oblivious for the most part. However, and despite the fact that Fassbender's character really got on my nerves, the movie is fulfilled with great dialogue scenes.
Honestly, it got way more interesting by the end, I just wish the first part had that same kind of excitement. Finally, I believe this was the first time I've seen Seth Rogen into an heavier performance and I must say that I'm astonished by it. Very well done. All of them really.
So how does one become a c**k merchant?
Pretty good episode
Arya's story development is quite intriguing and i look forward for her future as a possible Faceless Man (Woman !?)
Lannisters were a bit boring in this episode. Cersei got all cocky..again.. and karma is a bit of a bi%$h in Game Of Thrones. I m sure she will get what she deserves sooner or later. Tyrion's part was boring.Nothing much to offer than the fact that they're finally going to Slaver's Bay. And, even though Jamie offered the only fighting scene in this episode, the whole travel to Dorne is just bad.
I expected more from Olenna... She practically just stood there and did nothing for both Loras and Margaery! I hope this changes in the episodes to come...
And finally, Sansa..Oh, damn you Sansa... i freaking adore you! She will outlive them all! Both the bath and the "wedding night" scene were kinda powerful in their own way but they both show how much she has grown. She is finally able to do what she has to to survive.
All in all , this was a decent episode.
Everyone is so mad and I don't get it. You want the show to be sunshine and rainbows? You want the characters to start considering "oh but I don't want to hurt any of the viewers feelings". If you didn't see that coming, can't foresee just how drastic the Sansa/Theon story line may become, then you are blind. This is not a happy show, and this is not the worst thing I've seen on it.
It took me three times to finally read the first book. I could not get into it. The movie in comparison was meh. The actors have no chemistry at all. Sounds like they were reading the script word for word instead of going with the flow and making the dialogue believable. Jamie's accent is too strong in the flick. I never envisioned Christian Grey with having one, but everyone envisions stories differently.
I'm never watching this again.. excellent soundtrack though.
This was hilarious. I had a great laugh!!
Nope. It's impossible to take this movie seriously, seriously.
