This episode flew by. What a great debut season. I hope it gets renewed.
I've never read the book but I'm sure going to. What a movie. It was strong and the scenery was amazing. I won't be shocked if it gets an Oscar nomination too
The way her fierce fight for survival against neglect, judgement, and loneliness was portrayed hit right in the feels beautifully
Excellent movie, especially the last 15 seconds.
Didn’t really go anywhere, but I liked the show.
Holy shit. My face hurts from all the smiling i did for 30 mins. It never left my face. Love the music, love the characters !!!!
Yup, Leigh was consistently the worse person of the bunch and the one who needed to go to therapy the most. And now she's psychotic...
I'm glad the others worked through their issues (especially Amy).
Just a really good show with such genuine characters which are brilliantly acted. Hope the show finds a new home after the cancellation by Facebook Watch. It would be a real shame if this episode was the series finale.
riley and erin's different perspectives of "what happens when you die?" is so beautiful
So new priest is healing them with the communion somehow? First got the inkling when Riley's mother stopped needing her glasses and seemed more youthful. Then his dad's back. Sooo much mystery.
Not that creepy/scary still though. The weird creature and something in the woods is unsettling but not to hill house levels.
Mia isaac as Rowan is spectacular. Enjoyed the storyline but also i get mad second hand embarrassment so i had to skip over some parts. I couldn't handle it. costuming on Zoey Deutch was so good. Also Caroline Calloway being in this truly sent me. The fact that she was the moderator for the online shaming support group??? DEAD. LMFAO.
Mia Isaac (Rowan) absolutely nailed it she was the best thing in this movie! Her speeches were so moving and inspiring. Zoey and Dylan were great also. The story was good overall and I liked the conclusion. The comedy doesn't work at all though I think this would of been better off as a drama. Didn't really feel like I wanted to laugh anyway sinse this has some serious topics and the main character is unlikable.
I was about to gag myself with a spoon about this show and about Amy Schumer but since she's playing a character and she's bonafide hilarious and not doing awful skits like her other show, and there's a good supporting cast, I think this'll be that self-aware, everyone's stupid, observational funny.
Life & Beth is extremely dark. You'll love it. But it's extremely grounded in pathos and a hatred of self, hatred of your current life, and hatred of where you're from. It's sort of an "everyone sucks" comedy series.
The season has a slow start, but by episode 3 it got better. I can relate to a lot of this being single and 40s. She's quirky and I always like her work, it's quirky too. It's pretty funny and also realistic. As she is on her journey to find what will make her happy, you just keep rooting for her. I like it. The first 2 episodes.......not so much, but by episode 3 I liked it more. Now I'll be sad when the season ends.
Definitively started off slow but got better as it progressed .
This show took me by surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved it. Great to see so many amazing comedians in the cast as well.
a comedy / drama that will make you laugh and cry back to back
THREESOME is one of those boxsets that you accidentally stumble across whilst looking for captivating content no one else has recommended yet. It’s cliché cover art made me pause to read the synopsis, as it was visually out of whack with drama serials that cover similar subject matter, but use slicker semiotics to induce clicks from would be baying audiences.
From the pilot episode, I was intrigued at the spiders web this show looked like it could spin. Similar in nature to another show that aired in 2020 called "Trigonometry" (link - https://trakt.tv/shows/trigonometry) explores the clandestine 3-way relationship and the inevitable pitfalls encountered whilst “spreading the love”, lol. This is not a groundbreaking narrative by any means, but because the shows credits hail from Sweden with a large part of the script spoken in Swedish, I started to get Channel 4 “Walter Presents” vibes. The show is well executed with strong and visceral performances from a relatively unknown cast. Although the disclaimer warns of graphic sexual scenes throughout, I felt that not to be a prime focus as it was tastefully introduced to intensify the connections between the characters on screen.
The show is somewhat of a cautionary tale, a Pandora’s Box if you will. So if your into romance with a sting in the tail or a fly on the wall view of what I expect to be an episode in many a modern-day relationship, then you’ll really enjoy watching this… thumbs up.
Great show, beautiful natural acting. Great cast, authentic story 10/10
the opening scene gave me the chills.
Man this was just a cute ass epsiode, i loved seeing Marin and Wakana hanging out together as they were shopping for clothes, man I just cant wait for them to start dating already. Also, its looking like Sajuna is crushing hard on Wakana now, after taking in how much effort Wakana's put towards her passion and being appreciative of it. And, I liked the scene between Sajuna and Shinju, where Shinju truely realizes that even ppl like Sajuna who she idolizes deals with there own struggles and arent these perfect people. Also man, this show is horny.
Today's episode was cute, seeing Marin and Wakana banter as they were setting up Marin's cosplay, and seeing more insight into Marin;s character, how she isnt just the perfect person but also works and struggles towards her passions was sweet. Also, i'm glad todays episode fleshed out shinju inu a bit more, she's someone who wants to cosplay like her little sister, but is mired with self-doubt thinking it's too expensive and she's nothing like her character. I'm glad Wakana, despite obvious appereance issues, worked towards making a cosplay for Shinju, so she could live out her character that she admired. And man, the coplsay was surprisingly good, im glad she gets to join the photoshoot. Also speakin g of cosplas, man did Marin and Sajuna look like picture perfect recreations of there characcters. Also, like usual, im really enjoying the comedic bits of this show.
The acting is very good and brings back the 90‘s feeling. It‘s not as easy to play the role of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The actors complete each other.
I really enjoyed this show. Most of the episodes were fun to watch without forgetting to be respectful to Tommy and Pamela. Lily James did an amazing job and carried the show. Sebastian Stan and Seth Rogen were the other standouts for me. I was in my puberty when this all happened and never thought of all the pain they went through. Especially the way Pamela was treated by lawyers was painful to watch (like nude modelling makes you a s***). I really hope the world doesn't work like this anymore, but I'm sceptical to be honest.
A really good show that was maybe one or two episodes two long but this final outing was great.
La...la...la...la...la
Now that I've lost everything to you
You say you wanna start something new
And it's breaking my heart you're leaving
Baby I'm grieving
And if you wanna leave take good care
Hope you have a lot of nice things to wear
A lot of nice things turn bad out there
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
I'll always remember you like a child girl
You know I've seen a lot of what the world can do
And it's breaking my heart in two
'Cause I never want to see you sad, girl
Don't be a bad girl
But if you wanna leave take good care
Hope you make a lot of nice friends out there
Just remember there's a lot of bad and beware
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
And I'll always remember you like a child girl
La...la...la...la...la...baby, I love you.
But if you wanna leave take good care
Hope you make a lot of nice friends out there
Just remember there's a lot of bad and beware
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
And I'll always remember you like a child girl, oh, yeah.
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile, yeah,
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
And I'll always remember you like a child girl
