LOVED IT![Spoiler]
A grounded vision of modern teenagers... what shows like 13 Reasons Why or Skins struggled to portrait but HBO dared to exhibit without much censorship. Very stylish photography and Zendaya's character is beyond WOW. Also, not suitable for underage viewers... very triggering (yet also, extremely relatable content).
Will this series ever air? It is not listed on Syfy's schedule and they don't mention it premiering anywhere.
Boy Erased was amazing. Incredibly tragic story. It felt like a remake of Full Metal Jacket at times, were it not a true story. Great cast. You know who deserves the nod for best supporting actor? Flea. Incredible asshole presence. Good luck not crying. 9/10
Love this movie
It forced me to buy a Twinkie, and I it was disgusting :D The movie was funny, though.
Holy sh*t that was AWESOME! A show where the heroes are the villains. I love it.
In the beginning it's bad but it get's better towards the end of the movie,
i loved the first movie but this is nothing like the first one.
Putting Mater into the spotlight was a lousy choice. Sidekicks and comic reliefs should stay in their position, I say.
I can only think of a handful of TV shows that have BLOWN ME AWAY like this every damn week.
Definitely the best TV show to premiere this year so far, and i'm so glad it was already renewed for a Season 2! I still feel like people are sleeping on Pose. Wake the hell up everybody! Great themes, great dialogues and show-stopping acting.
Give Dominique Jackson and MJ Rodriguez all the Emmys they deserve.
What an episode. Wow. It was flawless. I cried my eyes off.
dont know what all these shitheaads are complaining about i thought it was a great episode
“I’m not gay and I’m certainly not sinful. What I am is a woman, mother. Not your son, your daughter.” Blanca is QUEEN!
Incredible ending to an incredible series of movies.
Tops Toy Story 3 for the most emotional ending so bring tissues!
Completely honest, raw and emotional portrayal of modern teenagers, what other show like this lack and boldly shown without shying away on the censorship. Give me more of this kind of show HBO!
Altogether a very apt fairy tale about the benefits of being kept in the dark vs. the power of knowledge.
Damn! A child's cartoon that teaches children to favour science over religion and to ignore false news? Damn! I could've done without all the singing, but a subversive animated film for toddlers? Let's just say it's proof that, while it seems to escape members of the older generation, logic and truth are child's play.
Trish is getting kind of annoying.
this show is actually so good!!
Wonderful series finale, I've cried my eyes out! Laura Linney is truly amazing. Definitely the role of her life.
This one's hard to watch guys. It's really tough to see Cathy sapped out of all her energy and just struggle to move and go about her days. Her buoyant spirits that I loved so much in the past seasons is finally broken by the rigors of chemotherapy and a (now) distant hubby.
The grim reality of these sessions becomes evident by the end; they pretty much kill you before you're dead. You're left so frail and weak all the time; you just don't feel like yourself anymore which brings you to finally question, "is this really worth it?"
THIS, Ladies and Gentlemen, is how you do a season finale!
(Damn, I used the safeword...)
I loved the ending of this episode!!
Revenge is a classic 70s style rape & revenge flick like a renovated muscle car that doesn't run on story but on cool - and the tank is full.
The director (Coralie Fargeat, writing and directing her first feature-length film) throws herself on the scene like an unpinned hand grenade and blows the screen away. Reminiscent of Tarantino, she can elicit winces as well as laughs (her 80S synth pop reference to Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive tho!) and make every body count.
The actors are solid and the female lead (Italian actress Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz) is totally believable as the bad ass with a nice one. See this film before the backlash kicks in!
One of the best episodes since quite some time. Great fun!
Should we pretend this season never happened?
If the last episode was gots funeral then this week the graverobbers robbed the grave and pissed on it. Seriously how can they write such bad episodes?
George we need you! They totally destroyed your fantastic work.
When your daughter couldn’t keep a secret for a day that you kept for 18 years until the day you died
Man, what a poor episode, lackluster after lackluster. If this is the culmination of the time and interest myself and others have invested into Game of Thrones all of these years, then it is truly unfortunate and disappointing if not almost bordering on an insult.
Such a shame that this will be the legacy of a series that once took the world by storm with its brilliant storytelling and exhilarating plot twists, hardly recognizable anymore when it parades around in a pathetic shell of its former self.
I can't say I'm excited nor even interested in the remaining episodes, at least not when this season has taught me time and again to lower my expectations as much as possible, but I hope they will at least respect what this series once was and offer a conclusion worthy of its story. sigh
