This entire season really does seem like a reboot of the entire show. I'm interested in how next season will go. The writers have so many avenues they go. I've enjoyed this season and the plot twists have been rather satisfying. Nothing will ever be as good as season 1 but this one is definitely one of the better ones.
Papa is the best thing about this show.
The movie is pretty good. I thought that this story would best be used as a morality play. Showing the virtuous and noble attorney who intentionally walks into darkness and pays the ultimate price for it. However, the beginning of the film only showed the terrible life the main character was living and how he had to change strategies to adapt or survive. I think this was a mistake. It would have been far more effective to show Roman him as a good man, almost too good who has failings and failings and is almost forced into accepting darkness. The story tried to do that but didn’t quite hit the mark. Instead it showed Roman as being a civil rights activist who is kind of a joke in today’s world. Misused effort in my view. However, the final act, I thought, was pretty well done. The way that Roman and George played off each other was interesting and engaging. I imagine there will be some who take issue with the a white man finishing a black mans work and in a way being a savior of the cause. A common trope that should be done away with. I didn’t really like it but I suppose for white audiences that will play rather well.
That minute 15 argument towards the end between Issa and Lawrence was so real and raw. Some of the best writing I've seen acted in a long time.
Best episode this far. Lenny Kravitz was awesome.
Tell me you saw that coming…I didn’t see that coming.
I’m very disappointed. This could have been so much more but fell flat.
Frankie remains the meanest and cruelest child in all of television. She elevated the cruelty levels every week.
This is an amazing show. It’s so simple but so heartfelt. I look forward to every episode but this one stands out with the three small vignettes. Each were perfectly placed and followed each other in an interesting way that made the whole episode about as perfect as anyone can wish for.
Umm, I binged the first 6 seasons for the first time so I could watch this season day and date, and I’ve been really disappointed. This season is more annoying then scary. The politics and intensity created by the election seems farfetched.
I can't believe only 41 days have passed since the pilot.
This started as a charming little show but now (episode 9) it’s just weird for weirds sake.
After 9 episodes I’m really digging this show. I didn’t quite get it at first. I thought Nagisa was the main character, my bad. Ayano is an interesting character, hopefully she becomes more dimensional then she is now. She is running off of pure emotion and it undercuts her writing. All in all it’s a good show.
Freaking Ben. He better get his
Completely passable show…meaning you can pass on it. It’s nothing special or nuanced. It feels a bit lazy in its writing and acting. I watched it cause I was bored but I’ll probably drop it if it returns. In truth it should be cancelled as it didn’t earn a second season.
That was an excellent episode.
The way the episode started with everyone dramatically receiving the invitations, it was both hilarious and well done.
Brockmire is back and I couldn’t be happier. One of the best comedy’s on tv today.
Florida’s death was poignant but still sad.
A boxer named Manslaughter or a Rot named Baby Get Right
I’m still trying to figure out what this show is about.
This episode had me rolling. So funny.
Soooooo…who did it? I’m not exactly sure.
Balls showing some serious acting skills. I really enjoyed his moment in this episode.
This show was fun but now it’s a joke. I just quit on it. Good riddance. Such boring storylines and terrible acting.
First two episodes were trash but the rest of the season were really good. Four star season overall but Asylum is the best.
Beautiful nonsense is the best way to describe this show.
The spoilers totally didn't ruin this episode at all. Knowing what will happen in the season finally has taken away my need to see it. Such a good show.
That ending. I really liked the whole movie but that ending was really great. I wonder how the story ended after the credits rolled. I'd love to know that.
A silly movie with an odd premise. It made me think why the makers of this film felt this had to be made and why these actors agreed to do it. That being said, I enjoyed it!
