There are some fun moments, an okay mystery, some overacting, and some stretched-out scenes that could be much shorter. Still, it was quite an enjoyable movie. Maybe not the best, but still better than anything coming from Disney.
A very generic "kaiju" movie, just in a different place. Nothing new here, nothing at all. Gave me overall. a Godzilla (1998) flashbacks, with some of the same moments and even camera shots. The characters were also quite bad. The same ones from all the similar movies.
I would also recommend that the authors get up one morning to see the sunrise. I presume they never did that at all from what I saw here. From the height, the troll would see the sun quite sooner than the people on the ground.
A fun entertaining superhero movie. Was it so hard to make one? Not really original or groundbreaking but who expects that from a superhero movie? The job here is to be fun and break stuff. And here this movie works. Rock is excellent as always and the supporting cast was also quite good. Just they should stop dressing the supposed "smart" characters as clowns. But it was not so distracting, so it was fine.
I really have to thank all the "professional" critics here. Without their rave recommendation (low scores) I would not even bother to watch this. Great job there.
Just disappointing. The movie could have been quite ok, but does really every character need to be just trash? All of them? Really makes it hard to care if they live or not
The Transformers look like transformers, not a collection of random grey parts. Best transformers movie yet.
Wow, this was just bad. Writing horrible, acting horrible, story horrible, effects horrible, pacing non-existent. I can't think of one thing that I liked. Who wrote this sh*t. Was it like a 10-year-old in the "Make a wish" show, that wished for his script to be made into a movie? I can't believe they spend money on this. I would rather watch the telenovela they shown on the TV than this.
The idea on its own is very interesting, and I will definitely pick up the book. But the execution here is off. The show is mostly filler. If you watch the last 5 minutes of every episode, you will see almost all the interesting stuff.
It keeps adding and removing characters and then trying to make you care about characters it just introduced 5 minutes ago. It's only 8 episodes, but for half of the people in the last episode, I had no idea who they are or why they are there.
It should have focused more on the main 4, or even better, choose 2 and focus on them. If this was made as a 2-hour movie and had 2 main characters for the whole runtime, this would be much better.
The characters are also not the best. The story tries to have some character development (two have quite a big tragedy, but forget about it completely within 5 minutes) but it falls very flat. They also should be "scientists" but they jump to conclusions so quickly without any reasoning, that they sound stupid half of the time. Maybe it is better in the book.
A fun mystery show, even though it got worse as the seasons progressed. Still, I saw every episode multiple times, and will probably watch them again. The best episodes are consistently the ones that take place in Cabot Cove, and it will always be funny how everybody is shocked when another murder happens there. With that murder rate, it has to be the murder capital of the world.
I actually always expected an episode where they would show that Jessica is a secret killer mastermind behind all these murders. even as a what-if episode. There can't be any other explanation for how a writer is associated with so many killings. But we never got one.
Who's gonna tell the kid that he is adopted? No way he can be a child of those two idiots.
Really slow and creepy. Especially some parts, in the beginning, could have been cut down. But keeps you guessing till the end what's really happening, and even at the end, who really knows what really happened. It does not really commit to one explanation
This movie is just clever. The whole time travel aspect is just perfect, and consistent all the time. I'm not even surprised that Summer time machine blues is from the same writer. Both are great. And it both you have to really focus, so you don't miss anything. the only thing id did not like was some of the actors. Especially the main character felt really wooden in the beginning but got better with the rest of the cast. But this may be due to how this had to be recorded.
I really liked the environmental design and the animation, they look great even after 30 years, but I just could not get into this movie. I tried to watch it twice and both times I fell asleep.
The visuals and designs are just stunning. the story and characters are a bit on the weaker side, but still quite an enjoyable movie.
Butler and Huss are just great. If they are not in a scene, you can just skip it.
I hate how they kept it mostly realistic the whole movie, and then had to have a "superhero" character at the end. Spoiled the ending for me. Could have been done much better
A good horror movie, plagued with bad acting here and there. Especially the police officers were horrible. Still, it kept me intrigued and interested in what's really happening. Worth a watch.
The ending was quite a surprise, can't remember the last time I was not able to predict where the story is going. Big thumbs up for that.
I have no idea who this Lebron is, but after watching this I learned three things. Apparently, he plays basketball, he has charisma and acting skills on par with a rock, and he must have paid for this movie, as I have never seen a movie so high up somebody's a** before.
Underused characters, pointless references, and cameos, almost nonexistent, very simple story. Part of the movie is on par with Scary Movies, and not the first one. I wonder when they learn that referencing better movies just makes your movie looks worse.
If I take into account the "upgrade" redesign of the characters in the second half, this movie deserves a 0/10. They managed to make Loony Toones look creepy. That's really an achievement

I could not even finish this in one go. If you are interested in seeing J.Lo arguing with Siri for about two hours, this movie is definitively for you. Bad acting, writing, effects, story, and almost all. This is content, not a movie.
Don't watch this if you have not seen the first one recently. You will miss too much. I just watched back to back both, and loved it. Great story, characters, action, martial arts, everything. This is easily better than all recent Marvel and DC movies combined.
I'm not even sure why, but this movie was fascinating. It just pulld me into the mind of the main character.
Hmm... what to say. It's better than the last one. Definitely better. But it still feels off. It's just not the Poirot that Agatha Christie created.
But at least it's watchable, and the mystery was okay. Overall I just did not like the character of the author, she was just annoying. Trying to convince Poirot multiple times that ghosts are real after being caught faking them was just stupid. Also the use of so many wide-angle shots felt really out of place. Maybe it was the setting, and it would work better with a modern one.
More, but not really better than the first one. More characters, more blood, more fights, more of everything. It missed some editing and purpose. I missed the contrast between the quiet, everyday life scenes and the action from the first one. It made the action really stand out.
Too many groups, and too many forgettable characters. I still remember every main character in the first one, and what was their role. Here, not so much. The main character was fine but not that much in the story at all. . I did enjoy the fights, with some really cool shots. Not that much the shitty CGI in a few parts, especially the car crashes looked bad.
The bad guys also lost all their cool compared to the first one. They should have resurrected Mr. Choi. He was soo good. Not sure why they felt the need for English-speaking characters, Especially Tom was just annoying.
Actually, the worst thing about the whole movie was the billboard in the middle of nowhere. It felt so out of place. Why was it there? Did I miss something?
Still, the fights, most of the characters, and the gore were enjoyable enough, for me to look forward to part 3.
If you like Japanese mystery shows or shows like Columbo or Poirot, this is an easy recommendation. If you need action, chasing, shooting, and similar, just skip this one. This is mostly just people standing around and talking.
The mysteries here are clever and captivating. It will just hook you in, and you will need to see the resolution. The main character is quirky but fun, in a line with many detectives. The supporting cast is good even though some are a bit cartoony. But that's probably as this is based on a manga. Nothing too bad. I like how everything is interconnected in the end, and you can see that there is a thought behind it, it does not feel random. Everything is explained, except the little tease for the next season
In the end, I did not like only one thing. The Samsung fold product placement. The phones looked too much out of place. Did not really fit the personalities of the characters in the show.
Not what I expected, but an excellent movie. It embraces the brutality of the story that it wants to show, and does not shy away from it. There is no fairy tale here, and that's for the best. I did expect a bit more action after the trailer, and Nicole looked out of place in some scenes, but overall that does not take away much from the movie.
It started strong and there are many good episodes. but especially the second part of the second season was horrible. Episode after episode of nothing happening, just them sitting in a room discussing plans. Really boring.
I just have many questions after seeing this. Why was this made? Was it supposed to be a parody? Ist the mask magic (it makes you have superpowers and if I'm not mistaken even makes the person taller). Landline? Do they really had a landline? Did the killer really had to be that obvious? No surprise at all. It was nice to see Courtney Cox again in a movie, but that's about it for me. If this was the first movie in the series, I would say it was quite ok, but 5th (or whichever), its just nothing new
I feel like I watched two movies spliced together. One with beautiful moments, nice characters, animations, art, songs, and one with just ugly 3d, caricature characters, and pointless plot points. Things just happen, out of nowhere, just so there is something happening. And that makes me sad. All the good moments made me sad, sad to see how this could have been much better. It's still worth a watch for the good parts and the great soundtrack, but I hoped for more.
Easy to recommend. Really enjoyed this one, even though zombie shows are not my thing. Interesting story, where things are explained, likable characters played well by actors who are not that older, so they quite fit, no annoying characters, and they even behave rationally most of the time. The survival aspect is a bit toned down, and the show focuses more on the individual characters, but that is a plus here. Also, the camera work was really good, I especially liked the long continuous shots in a few of the episodes. And there even is an ending to the story shown, even though they left a door open for a season 2
There are only a few things I did not like, and they all were in the way the story was written. I did not like the fakeouts (showing something happening and they in the next episode you find out that nothing really happened), the perfect timings (people and events miss each other by seconds all the time), and repeating situations (for instance, almost unlocking a door, and then something happens to stop the character. But this is probably mostly due to limited locations). Also, some characters are underused, and some are really randomly killed.
A fun action movie, without much logic. Still enjoyable.
Nothing really new here, there are many similar movies. But it was nicely made, with good actors, worth a watch. The way they killed Sakura was a bit of a surprise. Went really dark for a moment there.
