I loved the early seasons of One Piece. But recently each episode seem to be like 10 minutes long. Most anime tend to have the opening 90 seconds long, but One Piece opening is 2:30 minutes, then follow by a dialog flash back that's 2-3 minutes. One episode I timed that it didn't start until the 5:25 minute mark. Then fights last multiple episode just like Dragonball. It seem they used every trick they can to stretch the show out and provide the least amount of contents.
Everyone keeps suggesting there is a paradox concerning the 5D future humans and their ability to save humanity in the past. It's really not a paradox at all. Everyone assumes humanity survived to ascend to the 5th dimension but how could humanity exist in the future if not for the actions of Cooper.. who was guided by future humans (begin endless loop).
Did anyone ever consider the other important character in the movie? Amelia Brand carried on with the rest of her mission (thanks to Cooper). I postulate that Brand used the human seeds as intended and set up a colony. A colony that would thrive and eventually evolve beyond human. Thus Earth is of little importance, and may have indeed died. These colonists, and the generations that followed, would have been told the story of a great man (Cooper) who saved them from extinction. With the ability to manipulate space-time, they would pay homage to their hero "God" by helping him in the past so he may fulfill the mission most important to him, to once again see his daughter. Plan B worked beautifully. But the 5d humans, having the power to bend space-time, decided there's no reason why Plan A had to fail.
It's OK -- they bought the rights to the concept and butchered the original 2012 Swedish version, appropriately titled 'Real' Humans ( https://trakt.tv/shows/real-humans ) - "Äkta Människor". It wasn't adapted from a book, the creator (Lars Lundström) developed it as an original screenplay for Swedish television: www.svt.se/akta-manniskor/
The original was outstanding, both seasons -- by the end of the 1st season of the remake, there isn't anything from the original plot -- it's been simplified and homogenized. The original, with English subtitles, can be found on Vimeo. As they've completely changed the story, no need to worry about spoilers... ;-)

Cross Game is absolutely one of the best anime shows (not just sports anime) that I've seen. Period. It is another masterpiece written by Mitsuru Adachi (of Touch and H2 fame). From the first episode (which is absolutely heartbreaking and a must-watch), the show just captures the viewer's attention and never lets go. The best part of Cross Game is that it is about more than just baseball. So much more. It is a story about dealing with the death of a loved one (it has a very similar feeling to AnoHana), friendship, and how two people grow and nurture each other through hardships and successes. The story may be a little bit predictable at times, but Cross Game is more about the total journey. Don't be intimidated by the length. Time flies and there really are no filler episodes (except for one recap episode) and by the end, I was wishing that the show would never end. The characters are truly what make this show exceptional and Aoba is one of my favorite female protagonists of all time. She is way more than just a tsundere and has so much depth to her character. Do yourself a favor and watch this masterpiece. It'll have you on the edge of seat the whole time.

I watched 13 episodes and I have got to say... this is a real mindf'ing, f'ed up DARK show! Nothing like what I expected, it's like diary of a call girl, fatal attraction and suits had a threesome and made a reality show about it. I feel like a voyeur and I feel like I should be ashamed of myself. The first few episodes where kinda boring, but after that, I couldn't stop watching. Binged the whole thing. I still can't figure out whether Christine is a genius psychopath nympho? Or just a stupid narcissistic nympho? I wonder what she is going to do next? I am a fan! Did you know by the way, that this gorgeous and great actress is the granddaughter of Elvis? :-)
Until the script loses its cojones and the third act turns it into just another revenge thriller, this is a tense, visually stunning, action flick that also has something serious to say about the ambiguity and futility of the War on Drugs.
I guess the moral of this story is everyone is corrupt , lies and ok with it all . Still a good show
I figured I was in for a hell of a ride with a mini serie of only 6 eps. Truth be told, it's not. It's a slow folding of what happens if you let fascism let into your country. A good one at that to be fair. I'd wish their would either be a second season or they would increase the episodes so we could actually see more of the upcoming time period. Anyhow, a great show for anyone interested in the subtlelty of what makes a society and how fragile it is. A good life lesson even in modern age. Maybe especially in modern age.
Criminal that the HFPA didn't recognize this while giving out their legacy noms to GOT.
Solid Comic book adaption. Disappointed it's only 1 season.
Starts off a bit strangely, but you quickly realize this is a fantastic show — totally unpredictable, overwhelmingly faithful to the comics (note it quickly becomes clear this is in the universe of the comic, not the movie).
While it helps to be familiar with the comic/movie, people who haven't read/watched it will likely still really enjoy this (especially if they have someone sitting next to them willing and able to answer questions).
If Morgan sends you to buy a dozen of eggs, you better not bring just eleven. Things might get ugly
I wanted to like this so much, the manga is amazing and the other anime adaptations were actually pretty good, but they just had to let such an amateur studio (or actually two at the same time) adapt it, I'm really disappointed.
Let's hope this show at least garners more attention to Berserk in general.
The only thing that carried the movie was HARLEY QUINN!!!
& captain boomerang + El diablo were some positive performances.
El Diablo-- what happened to him in the end?
There's just too many things that don't make sense in the movie.
Deadshot-- looks like any other hero of an action movie who is judge as bad by the people.
before he stood on that car roof, Harley was a better shot & I was thinking what's going on? like this there's just too many plotholes in the movie.
Joker-- well Heath Ledger left a mark that no one would be ever able to erase. So, I tried very hard to like this Joker played by Jared Leto but there's just too many personality changes that made me loose it. like previous joker wouldn't threaten he'd just kill(the guy they bring to butcher's) he's laugh fills forced, & some other issues.
the right thing they showed about Joker was how he left Harley in the water & how he didn't die & came to get her in the last scene.
American whatever that was Homeland or whatever.--they give in too easily to Waller.
Waller says 'she's watching everything' then how did they miss A whole squad when there were only two squads to watch
Then, she just kills everyone at that place, her own people & still the other soldiers eg. Flag still follow without a hitch.
Also when the Enchantress dies, Waller comes back like she just got back from an office meeting, without a scratch.
Batman-- he's just too stiff. & the way he captured Harley or Deadshot was just too amatuerish.
Katana-- her crying before the last fight was just very childish thing to do by the writers/director
Killer croc-- why & how was he...they didn't show anything
Enchantress-- to call out her Dr june has to say 'Enchantress', & I'm like 'what?'
Also, if enchantress is dead then why's she in the file given to batman at the end?
is Batman suggesting there'll be a Justice League V Suicide Squad movie??
except for villain nobody seems to know abcd of acting and neither does the writers know whereever they are going with that plot.
The start of this series would have rated the show an easy 9 stars. I really enjoyed how they made us care for Soo-in and Yoon-kang as individuals and as a couple. I stuck with this show because I cared for them. As for the story of his revenge and their changing the world I liked some of it but for the most part felt it was only okay. Specific episodes stand out while others seemed like repeats of previous arcs. A lot of people died for them to go off and be bandits/vigilantes. I do appreciate how the villains were takes care of specifically the merchant gunman and his daughter but I would have liked to see the Queen taken out too. She really bugged me and I go no resolution about her. I love this couple though and would love to see them again in a modern rendition and really find the entire series worth it to see their interactions.
If this were a book, it would go in the Did Not Finish pile.
原作漫画超赞的,动画制作精良,应该不会让人失望
It's simply one of be best Indian movies in recent years, and especially with a female protagonist. Kangana Ranaut steals the whole show, while all the many characters play vitals parts through out the movie. While being a really fun and light-hearted movie, Queen also touches into and makes some bold statements about the current Indian society. Highly recommend.
I like the movie a lot. Its a very intense thriller, providing a deep atmosphere. People which are searching for action and huge bam bam will be disappointed.
Those people which are searching for intense screenplay, characters and mixed up relationships will find a Tom Hardy trapped in its loyality to his own cousin and his own responsibility and way. Mixed up in those feeling you can see how he is growing in that situtation and what circumstances his once made decision will cause.
Its based on a short story by Denis Lehane... I am a huge fan of him, and I didnt know that before...
