I don't think this is up to the usual standard of Luther. That's not to say it's not a good movie, it is. I just didn't feel like you're in the world of Luther like you did when you watched the TV series.
This episode made me fall in love with La’An Noonien-Singh. Great acting by Christina Chong, in a brilliantly written episode.
4 episodes wasn't enough haha. I loved it especially the extra scene. Can't wait for the next Witcher season
Can't for the life of me figure out the repeated negative comments I've seen about it. This has been loads of fun to watch so far.
Love a good bit of expanded lore. Was not expecting the surprise arrival of Moran though. A good chuckle or two.
This episode just shows that you don't need action, just well performed dialog. I had a few moments that just had me on the brink of tears, but the "feels" were real. I love this series.
We absolutely adored this spinoff, it was a beautiful production and extremely heartfelt. I actually preferred it to the main Bridgerton series.
A brilliant and touching ending to this limited series. Well done!
This was so heart wrenching. Well done!
I love the Brimsley back story and the way he cares for Charlotte. Beautifully done. I hope we see more of Brimsley and Reynolds at some stage
I’m a businessman. The word ‘decent’ doesn’t apply to me…
Fear not - season 2 confirmed, all :kissing_heart:
I laughed so hard when he challenged him to a duel, and what a daft decision it was. Didn't realise those were still a thing in the time period this show was set.
Man, I wish these episodes were twice as long.
Edit: I just read that this was the season finale?! Wtf?! How can you leave us with an ending like this Taylor?! :(
Excellent spinoff from the show Yellowstone.
Definitely could have done without the weird prostitute scenes.
"dying is the most alive you'll ever feel"
i'm not gay but i want to kiss this man
It has Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren what lord could u want !! A pretty good first episode
It was definitely an underwhelming experience compared to season 1. Pushing so many great characters from last season to the sidelines, the show makes it an uninteresting one-woman-army charade off Tsunemori. I hate saying this because I really do like her character and its arc. The antagonist was pretty meh, even the whole Togane shindig lost its lustre way too quickly. Conclusively, a good season on its own but comparatively it falls short of the first season through and through.
A western tale at its best. Never thought I'd enjoy shedding that much tears. Elsa's voice makes wonderful story telling, her beauty and bravery is very touching.
This episode deserves a solid 9/10. What a wonderfully written and executed tragedy.
Oh my god. Mika is so useless! Her only redeeming quality is that it's so satisfying when she's put into her place. I enjoyed the scenes at the lab! Shion is such a badass, and I honestly love Division 1's synergy. Also same complaint about Akane formulating hypotheses; I think the audience should be capable of arriving at the same conclusions as her at the same time. Although, in fairness, they do a good job at that sometimes. My heart dropped when Akane saw Kogami in Togane's place. I miss him. Ginoza had some really good shots here. I am also scared that the professor will die.
too many flashbacks in this anime
Clint Eastwood stars and directs in this shameless Leone homage from the early '70s. Eastwood's unnamed horse-mounted strangers have never been the friendliest characters in the west, but in this instance he takes things to a whole new level. He's quick with guns of several varieties, mowing down three rowdy bar patrons and raping a bystander in the film's uncomfortable opening scene, then settling in to take the surviving villagers for all they're worth when he's hired for protection. As it turns out, the village has a few dirty secrets of its own, and its leaders soon resort to a wide variety of veiled threats and bumbling backstabs to keep them quiet. That leaves absolutely no one in the clear as a moral compass, even the twisted preacher, and the film soon settles in to spinning lazy circles like a rudderless ship.
Misogynistic, mean-spirited and narrow, it's not a whole lot of fun to watch beyond a few sporadic action shots and one or two well-placed puns. A far cry from the unspoken atmosphere, dense moral grey area and thick, palpable character of the Spaghetti Westerns that made Clint's name in the mid '60s.
Damn. The guy with the orange hair never really grew on me, but that bites. I also really love Akane here!
One of the most wholesome episodes of a wholesome show. When I started watching this show I was feeling 'it's the same as this and that show, so predictable' But the joy of seeing the interaction between Todd, Margaret and others is unexplainable. It's definitely not a show I would rewatch in a few years, but the wholesomeness smiles I get when watching it are unique.
Jamie is such an annoying pain in the ass. Can't wait for his character to die.
Jamie is just a little weasel. He doesn't deserve the Dutton name.
Tell them Ellie is the little girl that broke your F** finger!!!
