the closing scene literally bumped the rating up a whole number cause i can't loooool
it's.... so dramatic lol why am i cryin on the inside
this makes no sense like if there's a camera in the library how is there not a camera in the principal's office, or in the hallway leading up to the principal's office like if the actual usb for the library is missing why wouldn't the adults check the cameras in the hallway or in the office to see who the hell was there ????? or even narrow it down to the fact that there apparently was just the one principal and the 5 kids in the building at the time????? this is so stupid i hate it when they just ignore large gaping plot points
quite heavy handed, maybe without the nuances of the actor's expressions it just doesn't carry as well. also i did not like this animation style nobody looked like themselves ??
did the military sponsor this episode
from raja's rude appropriative outfit to carmen kissing johnny weir without consent to the overindulgence of patriotism this episode really did not do it for me
also omg what the fuck is with the ending
The way Juju stirred that fucking pot and then sat back and watched it all burn down looooool
I tbh enjoyed Mystique standing up for her beliefs like jeez let her just die on the hill she wants to die on
That was... so rough. The overall message though, with the last scene, "it was so much fun", the christmas celebration after filled with grief and laughter ... sobbing. in tears. i can't believe. what a beautiful show.
I love kids shows because at the end of the day the kids actually have some power and adults learn from the kids, where as in the real world there are adults like the coach who will die before having to take the advice of a kid
If only adults actually listened to kids like this. ageism is real!
f**k that security guard tbh!!!! the way arnold is super empathetic and emotional makes me all tender on the inside. also i love grandma.
So cute. Kids are so innocent.
ok but why was there a pole at this banquet that is the real question
eughhhhh i haaaaate haremssssssssss whyyyy do they always do this to otherwise an interesting plot showwwwwwww
definitely one of my favorite animes, not that i've watched many. But I love this show so much and can't wait for the movie... Hopefully it's a good closure to the story. I should probably go and read the mangas tbh
I'm so hype how are sports animes so hype
i'm very much annoyed at the upper middle class white gays cam and mitchell are written as. how can mitchell be working for a justice league and also not give a shit about things like equal health care for queer folks
alex's long running competition with sanjay was my literal favorite and it was so cute haha redeemed the episode quite a bit for me
why do they always treat alex like this? a nerdy girl can't get any unless she's being assaulted??? and nobody actually reacts appropriately??? i hate it so much
I don't know why the kevin hart running bit got me so hard but i laughed out loud both times lol
WHAT IS HAPPENING is the only thing I could think during this whole encounter.
why is everything dissolving into these half baked character and plot tropes i'm enjoying this less and less
this reminds me of the end of the f'in world but set in rural pennsylvania aesthetically lol
i would've have enjoyed this so much more if the story moved forward in any way but it just didn't. also am really confused about how they were just totally ok with the rest of the family disappearing from the living room in the last scene like ???
the first 10 episodes were soooo boring and i was killing myself trying to grind through it. took days, then finally just stopped for a few months. the second half of the season was so much better and picked up way quick. finished it in one night.
this was so much;; god you know these queens have fucking trauma bonded
this may be my favorite episode of drag race of all time??? the hyper masculine jock types getting their shit together, manila & her drag sister's connection ("are you mad at me?" "i'm just stressed right now" "you'll be fine, bro." "thank you"), the dunk minigame, the return of carmen, AND THAT FINAL LIPSYNC??!?!
so good so good
how dare you try and make me ship nine year olds !!!
helga, my favorite socialist leader lol
when will i learn to make peace with overpowered male protagonists (even if voiced by a woman) swooping in to save the day of the apparently powerful woman characters who are still damsels in distresses when it comes to the male protagonist in anime
why are these nanami centered episodes so good loooool
i will admit i wasn't of sound mind when I watched half of these episodes so I forgot that the curry thing and the cow thing happened so that was actually fun to watch. plus that bit with reading his poor diary was kind of a fresh take
