I truly cannot express in words how much I adore Lady Violet Bridgerton She’s so gentle, loving, adorable and vibrant; her scenes always make me smile <3
P.S. Colin has seriously been giving such small d*ck energy lately:rolling_eyes:
How is Kate sooo beautiful, inside and out??:weary::blue_heart:
On another note; Eloise is truly the most self-absorbed person ever:skull::skull:
"Why would the library need a turbocharged bookmobile?"
"Speed reading course."
What the hell!!! What an episode, my effing god. Amazing.
'73 Yards' was a properly eerie and creepy episode, with some actual horror elements and gorgeous cinematography too. Really strong performance by Millie Gibson as well. Doctor Who inevitably faces some limits when tackling with horror themes, given the show's PG rating, but they definitely found the perfect balance here, delivering a legitimately haunting and at times quite unsettling story.
An amazing episode, with stories and threads that will likely make much more sense later on. Suspense, mystery, and emotion, all masterfully woven together.
Homelander arriving to "save the day" was so anti-climatic but so onbrand for The Boys universe that I'll allow it
The puppets moment was incredible! Writers from "The Boys" always know how to surprise!
OH MY GAAAAHD:weary::heart_eyes: The whole carriage scene was complete and utter perfection!
Also, Francesca and John are actually full-on adorable together! I love how shy and introverted they both are, but immediately feel so comfortable with each other <3
Eloise and Cressida represent the friendship I didn’t think I’d like but have unexpectedly fallen in love with!
P.S. Is there a single person who cares about the Mondrich family?? Cus not me.
omg this episode is insane
A lot of different introductions this season! I haven't read the books but it feels like we are getting a glimpse of most the characters' future spouses.
Colin obsessing over Penelope is what I’ve been waiting for and it certainly doesn’t disappoint! She’s taking over all of his thoughts and he’s going absolutely crazy with it! Honestly, I just love this pining, jealousy arc for him.
Speaking of, that scene between Pen and Colin under the tree was so cute and funny! The way they were both awkwardly babbling and stumbling over their words while making furtive eye-contact trying to gauge the other’s reactions was simply adorable.
That said, my heart is breaking for Lord Debling already!! He’s actually such a sweetheart and I’m dreading the moment he gets rejected. Luckily it does seem like Cresside’s redemption arc will make her into a suitable partner for him though, so I’m happy he’ll probably still have someone in the end <3
I’m also loving Francesca’s storyline so far, and the love at first sight thing she had this episode was pretty cute.
I’m not sure what’s happening with Benedict’s character though, cus why is his plot suddenly wasting time on this random woman?? Where is SOPHIE!?
P.S. I’m so ready for mama Bridgerton to have her own love story!!
Colin flustered, awkward and seething with jealousy because of Pen... oh I am LIVING
Oh my god, this was such an amazing and promising beginning of the new season!!
I am absolutely living for Penelope’s revenge era, and I fully stand behind anything this sweetly awkward girl chooses to do. I just know I’ll always be on her side!
I really like Francesca already! She’s so quietly charming, absolutely stunning and very kind:heart:
I would definitely love to see a friendship between her and Penelope grow, because I feel like they’d be able to understand each other quite well!
At first it seemed like Colin came back from his travels as even more of a tool than he already was, but his asking for Penelope’s forgiveness in such a humble way did kind of redeem him a lot for me already ;) I hope he continues to grovel and be appreciative of her attention in the future!
I found my favourite ship on this show: Jordan x Marie.
That dude's reaction to his dick exploding seemed severely understated.
Excited for Penelope and Colin’s story next season after watching how phenomenal Season 2 was! I can not wait to see how Penelope grows into her own.
Truly one of my fav shows after this amazing season, I loved both seasons but this one was just brilliant! Definitely worth a rewatch or two!
screaming crying throwing up etc
I can't wait to see how Sharma and Bridgerton run the household!!
I have no idea what season 3 will cover, and I'm more than okay with that.
I loved this season so much. The chemistry between the two leads was off the charts and the yearning nearly killed me. Kate and Anthony have me in a chokehold.
