If Stephen King and Steven Spielberg had a baby, this is EXACTLY what it would look it.
a episode isnt bad because a character died, fu*k people who is downvoting here and IMBD because of Lexa's death, it was vital to move the plot foward, there was no other way and Lincoln died, yes, but we dont know the repercusions is going to have
also characthers die all the time in shows like this, get over it its FICTION, chill and enjoy the plot please.
edit: WTF with people harassing writers and producers of the show? the fanbase is disgusting
Just a spectacular, beautiful and mesmerizing anime. I was initially hesitant to start this because it seemed like it wouldn't be too exciting and able to hold my interest well but I instantly became addicted. It's a very easy show to watch as each episode is a story contained within itself, has its own theme, and you really don't encounter the same thing twice. Also, not all the stories end up happily and some are just heartbreaking which lend to keeping everything fresh. The creators masterfully created this world filled and thriving with mushi that just immerses you completely. Ginko is the perfect MC for the tone and themes of Mushi-shi with his calm, gentle and understanding nature. The only complaint I had was that literally every main male and female character looks the same (I honestly couldn't tell anyone apart between 75% of the different episodes). This is definitely up there on my list and a very relaxing and magical journey that is a very easy watch.
Having finally finished my slow burn of this series all I can do is agree with other comments here. This series offers a sense of tranquillity when watching that I have rarely seen anywhere else. You just get absorbed into sometimes dreamlike atmosphere of it all. Each episode is somewhat self-contained and you really never know how it will end. Some end on a happy note, some on a sorrowful one, some are more ambiguous or bitersweet.
The message throughout is very much that Mushi are not malevolent or evil, they are just like forces of nature, and can be harmful or helpful to humans. Each story is more about how people deal with these things, with Ginko travelling around and helping where he can.
With a second season just around the corner all I can really do is repeat other people's recommendations - if you haven't already, watch this series.
George R. R. Martin should take a page from this episode's perspective. This was amazing!
Father fixes the fence just to kill his family later. And his son makes a very irrational decision. Jup, TWD logic is back. Just waiting for the return of the ninja zombies now.
Scifi gets to do this crap and Ascension doesn't even get a second season? WTF? This was awful. Terrible. I need to be commited to suicide watch over this, that kind of terrible. Charles f*ing Dance is in this show, how did anyone sell this to him? I mean, I should be hiring that genius to my mkt team. Obviously.
this better not end up being another "Ascension"
Edit: well it didn't end up being another "Ascension"
Sceptical, this is starting to remind me more of the weaker plots in Heroes. Not something for a reboot hoping to be relevant
Praise be to the Lord/Allah/Buddha/Tom Cruise/Oprah!! Mushi-shi is getting a 2nd season (a full 2 cour) that is starting this coming April. Ginko be doin' work again in 2014 and it will be glorious.

Rosario Dawson Ex Machina!
PS: the best fight so far in the show, against the drunken monkey style guy.
Today on AMC's The Walking Dead: Watch Daryl getting humiliated for 40 minutes. Yawn.
Well that's 40 minutes thrown away. Literally nothing happens. Except we see that Dwight also has feelings and that Daryl is still himself. But that's nothing new.
Also they should find a reason to cut Daryl's hair. His face is constantly so covered that it doesn't matter if it's Norman Reedus acting anymore.
If "The Scarf" was a real book I'd definitely read it.
Pretty solid episode though I feel it's too bad Stryker took the place of Cottonmouth. It basically winded down to the main villain having daddy issues, enough so that he wants to kill his half brother. Other than that the acting, the music, the atmosphere. It's all there and it has been very enjoyable to watch!
I've just finished to watch the four episodes, and I've to say, It's been a long time - too long - since I've been thrilled and amazed with SF serie. And yes: this is from SyFy...
If you love Politics, Space Opera and Riots about "Corporation"... You should definitely watch it or at least, give it a try...
PS: I just hope it will continue as it started, I have great expectations with this show.
Please don't vote before you've seen the episode.
How come there's 7 votes to something that wasn't even released yet?! The rating system should only be available after release.
Ugh, I really want to like this show. I love the main show, so have nothing but high hopes... that keep getting dashed.
Everyone seemed to act in just inexplicable ways this episode. Danial Salazar went from 0 to batshit crazy in record time. Lorenzo Henrie is a horrible actor so Chris' psychotic break is just painful to watch because the actor can't pull it off. I like Travis' character, but it's going to be pure agony to have him and Chris off by themselves. It means more Chris in order to keep Travis visible. Nicks constant bathing in walker blood has gotten old. The mechanic is overused and it's only been a few episodes since he discovered that the blood hides him. He must stop at every walker and flap around in the blood like a spawning salmon.
Underground never ceizes to amaze me. This particular episode switches the perspective and the result is brilliant.
i don't know why, but i really, really love this movie hahaha!
What it scored so low? I liked it!
Sigue el plan. Esa es una promesa que no romperé.
Qual é a da Freya? porque ela foi se juntar ao Finn!
Odeio esse gênio Assassino do Klaus.
Absolutely cannot wait for the new season!
I can't wait for the New Season!
