haha, there's a Chucky reference in this one.. Chinga? Chucky Chinga?
Alright, after those last few off episodes, now we're back to a good ol' regular X-Files. I remember the Lisa acress from the Ginger Snaps series and Freddy vs Jason.
Oh no, this guy again. This time he reminds me of Hannibal Lecter in the 2001 sequel, Hannibal.
How motherly of her, but in the end, it wasn't meant to be..
Nice side-off Christmas episode where we get to know a little more about Skully and her family, and a sad one too. Mulder is missing in this one though. That ending tho~!
haha this is another goofy spinoff episode, almost Tim Burton style - black & white Frankenweenie vibe; it's like a comic book issue come to life. They probably made this for Halloween but aired a bit later than scheduled. There's also a scene where Mulder backs the car which is reminiscent of Romero's Night of the Living Dead, they way it was shot and angled.
Oh man, this reminds me of Swamp Thing + Predator. Also liked the footage of The Invisible Man. I am familiar with the FLIR tech too, used to work with those. But hey, good to see Skully well again.
hmm I feel like they've should've shown this episode in season one, where Mulder is introduced to the hacker gang, haha. Anyway, what's so weird is that these past few episodes are going along so well with what's going on in real-time, with CES took place just last week! Not too long ago, saw an episode involving "Star Wars", and The Force Awakens just released in theaters. It's all matching so well in real-time!
Holy Crap! Those men got what was coming.. but it's far from over
LIES! ALL LIES! I like how they keep going back and forth on this. Keeps you on edge
Wow! Now it's all coming together. I was hooked throughout the entire episode because they finally uncovered something.. I also liked the transition from Mulder's tearing face to Skully's at the end there.
I have one prediction left, and I'll continue watching until I see the truth to that (a returning character). If it does happen, then I will have completed a puzzle that I've been wanting to piece together for a little while. Let us get on to season 5!
Interesting episode; it reminds me of how a nightmare I had as a kid involving going into the back of bowling alleys and finding apparitions/ghosts. Perhaps it was of this, maybe I saw the episode on TV back then, must've forgotten, that caused me to dream it. Plus, this aired just 2 days before my 13th birthday. The end made feel sad about Scully, the way she reacted after telling Mulder about what she saw earlier.
That bee attack scene at the school playground look so familiar. Was it recycled footage from a previous episode? Or maybe I'm mixing it up from that one episode of The Flash about the bees (S1E18 All Star Team Up).
This was the one about the time-traveling old man that tries to change the fate of the future, kinda like The Terminator or Trancers; interesting concept!
Haha, what an odd, but cute episode. It's one of the very few where "Mulder" and Scully get really close!
Was that Nine Inch Nails I heard? and I also liked the Elmo joke
Oh hey, it's Scully's birthday in this one :D/
I like how this episode was woven together. It starts off with a bit of the climax, cuts to the intro theme, then shows the events leading up to that said climax. It also features the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall too.
I remember first seeing @EliRoth's HOSTEL and spotting a familiar face, Takashi Miike, exiting the 'museum'
This one features Jewish mythology, and the Jews here remind me of the Simpsons episode (Like Father, Like Son) about Krusty's father, Rabi.
"Dry hair is for squids!" - Jack Deth, as he gels his hair #Trancers
Tonight, we follow Jack Deth, a future cop who travels back in time to the year 1985, to zap some zombies known as #TRANCERS!
I admire Will Vinton's distinctive character designs greatly. His other works can be seen in The California Raisins (which I plan on revisiting next year), Michael Jackson 'Speed Demon', Return to Oz (which we saw earlier this year for its 30th anniversary)
The 'Mysterious Stranger' scene alone is enough scare kids. Seeing how imaginative and creative it was, I had to see it in full.
I had discovered this gem of a film only a few years ago when I stumbled upon this YouTube clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqi5F5MqqTQ
Let us join Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher in a quest to find Halley's Comet in Will Vinton's remarkable 1985 stop-motion claymation classic, The Adventures of Mark Twain
This is the Chupacabra episode.. "two brothers. one woman. trouble"
a pleasant origin story starr. John Lithgow as the main villain; hard to believe that John Carpenter was supposedly the original director but was rejected, I would've loved to see how it would turn out
Good to hear even more details of the disappearance of Mulder's sister, Samantha, here
watched ENEMY MINE, the sci-fi classic released exactly 30 years ago in 1985!
reminds me of an early episode of the original Star Trek "Arena" (Kirk vs Gorn) except the two races here learn to become friends; pretty funny too nonetheless ✌
