If Stephen King and Steven Spielberg had a baby, this is EXACTLY what it would look it.
Hands down, the best anime ever!
But it drags like hell and has so many flashbacks and intro recap that aren't necessary unless we all have alzheimers
Overall pretty awesome show. The music is always on point, the child actors are amazing and the story is interesting and captivating start to finish.
Would love a second season be it a sequel to this or maybe an anthology series a la Fargo.
A Stephen King and Stephen Spielberg Mix in the style of an 80s show. Beautifully played by every actor, the soundtrack is always on point, beautiful colours, beautiful dialogues. Amazing show. Well made, Netflix!
What an absolute breath of fresh air this show is! Loved it! Jenna's performance is superb, and the way its integrated into modern society works very well.
What a shame there are only 8 episodes, I could easily sit through another 8
Absolutely great anime!
Every episode makes you wanting for more.
I watched the whole 1st season in 3 days!
This is with no doubt the best anime I've ever watched...But to be honest I've only watched S.A.O and A.o.T.
One of the things I dislike the most about anime is the unnecessary use of sexual imagery. This show lacks that completely. It takes itself very seriously and I absolutely love that. It's an amazing series with tons of action. Expect to feel on edge from the very beginning to the last minute of it. I can't wait for season 2
Now I see why Drama is put before Action in the genres! It's a great Action anime, but not meaningless fights and beatings, There is quite the story for it! Amazing anime!
Literally one of the best things I've ever experienced. I put off watching it for the longest time because I thought I wouldn't like it but man was I wrong. I felt like something was missing when it ended (after rushing through all the episodes in about 4 days because I couldn't stop), I wanted more. I started reading the manga as soon as I finished the anime and I'm all caught up on it now. Can't wait for season 2!
Also, just a tip for anyone who's planning on watching it - make sure you watch after the credits on the last episode. There's a pretty massive plot scene afterwards that's very important and I almost missed it.
This show is so good! I need a another season! :<
This is my very favorite anime. I am so glad the author didn't stop writing it. I will literally cry after this finishes. But this anime has everything. It's so addictive that you look forward to each episode. It has action. Romance a bit. But it's amazing the work is good to. I recommend anyone who likes fantasy to watch it.
I've spent the last week getting caught up on this series. Chris O'Donnell was the original draw for me (I loved his early movies - CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, THE SCENT OF A WOMAN, FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, and even BATMAN FOREVER). This series isn't great TV, it is basically "blow 'em up - get the bad guys of the week" fare, but it's clean entertainment (no nudity or salacious pandering) and I love the main characters, their relationships, their dynamic and the cast is solid (Daniela Ruah has some pretty impressive UK theatrical training). So I watch it for the vicarious relationships. I give the whole series a 6 (fair) out of 10, with the occasional episode rocking a 7 (good), and, when I have time, I usually binge watch to catch up on their lives.
These characters feel like family. They are well-rounded, lovable characters that have complex relationships with one another. Jack is a gem and Lou is definitely my favourite. Thankfully I grew to love the new characters as much as the old ones.
So at least the deaths are creative and interesting to watch. That being said, everythingelse about this show isn't worth it. The characters are cardboard, the plot is just as flat. It's something to watch when you want to have something in the background but don't really care to give it your full attention.
NEEDS MORE MIKASA WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO SAY THATS ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID STOP SAYING I NEED TO PUT MORE THOUGHT INTO IT
Do you know that feeling of sadness and emptiness you get after finishing a good show that you really loved with all your heart? Well, this is what I felt towards this show. Each episode I watched on this show got me craving for more. I'm glad good story lines still exist, and I'm glad this show is popular because it honestly deserves to be recognized. I can't wait for season 2! THIS IS THE BEST ANIME I'VE EVER SEEN SO FAR!
So much of despair, sorrow and almost not one tiny hope for mankind against Titans.
Awesome BGM in certain episodes really kicked the mood high.
Very disappointed so far. Seems like they just threw a bunch of ideas at the wall hoping something stuck. Four episodes in and didn't care to finish
Will take me a long, long time to catch up. I've enjoyed the first 13 episodes. It's fun and Pirates are always awesome.
I've never seen a show with more annoying characters in it. No one is likable, all of them are crazy and hateable.
Everything wrestling fans have been wanting. Attitude and wrestling is found here.
I just wish there was more
I'm catching up on CBC's Heartland, Season 9. I turn into a pre-teen girl who loves horses when I watch this, and I like it! My more sophisticated, cynical, worldly wise friend will think I've lost my mind with my affection for this series, and they are probably right. I give it an 8 (great) out of 10. I think this series is the Anne of Green Gables for its time. Fallible characters, romance, earthy values, and, did I mention, horses.
this anime is good.. watch it.. cause even though I don't like mechanical anime.. its awesome and I am loving it.. :D
So, having now watched it I would have to agree with the general consensus. Attack on Titan is a rather awesome anime. So many twists that kept me saying 'just one more episode. I'm pretty sure they're making another season (biggest cliffhangers at the end), which I can't wait for!
The first season is kind of boring.
But the second season is surprising me. In a good way.
