Leading up to this movie, the first trailer made me want to see it. Every subsequent trailer made me want to see it less and less. Almost gave it a miss.
It's very much a movie where you need to switch off your mind before you go in, otherwise the flaws, plot, etc will ruin what is essentially a fun movie. It can be very enjoyable if you switch yourself off enough. But that's a big if. The fun aspects made me want to rate this movie an 8 out of 10, the flaws & plot made me want to rate it a 3 or 4 out of 10. I compromised on 6 out of 10.
Booth’s girlfriend isn’t in this one, thank God.
CRAP RUBBISH TERRIBLE . Not much else to add.
Can we kill off MK already, please? jesus christ...
Since the first season of this show, only few episode "respected" the books.. I still watched the show as I really like Henry Cavill, but... Honestly.. What's wrong Netflix? Despite Geralt, what is this awful cast?!! Is it possible to make it worst? And still pretend to be "The Witcher"?
So, if you liked the books, this serie is not for you. If you liked the games, this serie is not for you. End. (and, by the way, Netflix subscription cancelled linked to this)
I was hoping the script writers were not going to take money to write in LGBT into their story, but money talks.
I keep wondering how much it costs to get a character to turn into a homosexual, how much money gets passed around at the top,
I even wonder if this review will get cancelled for stating the truth, 'the king has no clothes'--I am guessing they made a lot on this under the table
This season has been dragging further and further down, so they just decided to make as much as possible on a sinking ship. My guess is the offer has been on the table since season one.
Guess it time to start looking elsewhere.
The movie feels absolutely soulless to me. I was not able to find compassion to any characters. And I didn't like how original scores were mixed with some random music tracks. I can't describe it, but I feel there are plot holes the size of a giant Swiss cheese.
It also painfully reminded me The Midnight Sky, I actually thought Hanks was there too.
I am looking forward to this! I was pretty upset the way game of thrones ended.. I knew about this for awhile, I just hope this is on the same level as game of thrones. Not only that last as long as game of thrones did as well if not longer. ╰(★‿★)╯ :sparkles:
OMG... This is soooooo funny.... hahahahahha.. I thought Ranman 1/2 was funny but this OMG its hahahahahhahahaha
Naught terrible about it, but 'Rio 2' is a boring - if colourful and well meant - follow-up to the 2011 original.
The whole plot is basically just a typical family drama fest, filled to the brim with the clichés of relative and love quarrels. It's also entirely predictable, which doesn't help. A few of the characters from the first film are shoehorned in too, especially Nigel (Jemaine Clement).
Jesse Eisenberg (Blu) and Anne Hathaway (Jewel) reprise their roles, Eisenberg is the better of the two. Bruno Mars joins the cast, I actually liked his voice for Roberto but unfortunately his character is forgettable.
I'd guess the younger viewers will like this, as well as a number of others. For me, it's just very average.
Squwaaack!!! Polly wanna watch something different!!!
Disappointing after "Gganbu". Those VIPs were really over the top and made this episode hard to watch.
Up to this episode the entire production has been stellar!
But let’s talk about the casting of those VIPS...
Damn, it made me cringe every time they spoke. Poor writing, dialogue and awful acting (by the English speaking VIPS) really let the show down. Asian cinema always seems to taint their own brilliant actors by casting some D-grade foreign extras based in country. If it’s some legal issue with hiring actors outside their region, then they should sort all that out beforehand. Did Netflix even consult with the Korean team on these matters? It literally feels like they found some caucasian men on the street and offered them roles.
Excellent art and animation. But while I appreciate the ambition, this movie stinks of pretentiousness and is an absolute slog to get through. I've watched movies that were three or four hours that felt faster than this.
I see that this film has spoken to a lot of people, both online and people I know, so I would still recommend this to people who seem interested in it to see if it speaks to them the same way. At best, it seems like it will change your life and the way to think about everything, and at at worst you waste 90 minutes of your time. It's still a risk worth taking.
I have a feeling this will become a classic
It has a few good jokes there. It will probably be funnier to older/ married people. Expected more but it is what it is.
Really bad. Same routine of the last 10-15 years, nothing new. Jokes about when he was in the 60's , joke about cellphones when they came out 15 years ago.
Man I love that U knew when to retire. Do it again.
What the fuck is this garbage? I'm almost halfway through the second season and half the show so far has been centered around romantic dramas and politics/courtroom dramas—what am I watching? Fucking Suits? Banal, drawn out storylines, deus ex machinas; this show is not even half as good as Avatar.
The thing about a good anime, or any story for that matter, is that there has to be a good compelling reason to get into it, a good reason to keep watching it, and a good ending to tie it altogether.
Berserk was interesting enough to get into, and had high ratings to make me curious to watch it. There was no discernible plot until later, which was basically Griffith wanting to conquer the world and be king. This was his dream goal. There was some very loose ties to the necklace that he was wearing, the King's Egg, and this main plot. Most of the episodes existed outside of the main story, it seemed, with interesting fights and their conquests. The final episodes felt very rushed and detached from what the show had been building towards. It's was as if the team had suddenly been told "oops, hey you were supposed to have time, but ... well, finish it now" and it really shows.
I had to really struggle getting through the last episodes which became super dark, where the rest of the show wasn't. The shift in story and direction made me feel like it was a totally different show. It's not the show I got into, and as a result, the ending was a total mismatch from what I had expected and not at all satisfying.
There were some good quotes to think about, and the idea of fulfilling dreams in general. But it totally fell flat on its face on the end. I'm not sure why people overlook this in the other reviews, but I can't. There are many anime that will give you a good story as well as a coherent ending, this isn't one of them.
this show is so boring and cliché. SAO and re-zero spinoff but without doing anything real to make it interesting. After a number of episodes dedicated to Ichirou running around being cute with his various women companions, I gave up. It had small element of uniqueness which maybe will be used later, I don't know. I can't take it anymore.
We hate Trish, as a result, they are making a full episode about her FFS!
So fkn lame and boring, for the first time I have run the episode on a higher speed and I just kept escaping...
I got the feeling the writers hated people guessing their twists in season one, so they came up with as many bullshit twists as they could for this season, delivered in the most confusing ways possible.
Well. It's your basic superhero movie. I am kinda biased here, but some moments in there were dumb. )< Like, how did thet ferrous wheel break? But overall. Good for the kid whose mom abandoned him, then the kids gets superpowers from a weird wizard.
If you are a fan of the superhero stuff, it's a movie for you. I just came to the college at the wrong time, so I decided to visit a movie theater to watch this movie.
While I was totally captivated by the skillful animation, the story was very general and basic, with some familiar characters thrown in along the way to distract from a barebones story.
I liked the entry into the internet, seeing the other Disney characters, and the mid-credit scenes. Other than that this film was mostly meh.
Most confusing movie I've seen in a long time. And I can normally keep up with most movies. Didn't finish watching because the payoff just wasn't happening.
OMG, I just cannot believe how much I've laughed during this episode! To everyone complaining that this was a comic episode, you've probably never watched The X-Files before. Go do your homework before talking non-sense over Trakt.
Episodes like these are what helped make The X-Files so unique.
With a cast this strong, this should be so much better. However, it remains an entertaining if forgettable courtroom drama, pretty much in keeping with every adaptation of a Grisham novel. The films moves briskly and the message of the film is well meaning wish fulfilment, but the plot is thin and contrived and stretches credibility to breaking point. Hackman and Hoffman are always watchable however, and both Cusack and Weisz do well to flesh out rather dull characters whose predictable motivation is revealed near the end.
Recycling is not always a good choice. I was never a big Flash comic reader but there has got to be other storylines better than the ones they keep revisiting. They were not that great the first time.
