Bravo! I was right there with Emily the whole time. The rescue scene may seem simple at first glance but I'll be damned if it didn't pack a punch, right in the feels. Like Emily, it took me a minute to realize they hadn't been caught. He was probably halfway through the speech... :sob:
How relevant has this movie has become now eh?? After watching it again now (first time on release date), man this is almost exactly what's going on out there!
killed it bruh!!
ending track had me laughing so hard. spot fuçkn on!!
I have said it before and I have to confirm this again...Holden and Naomi remain the weakest characters (as they actually are in the book too) that when the plot puts them in the background like in this episode, the show works much better. In my opinion the tv version managed to fix some weaknesses of the books, so maybe screenplayers could have tried to make the story more collective and leave Holden and Naomi in a not too prominent position. The first season was kind of different since there was Miller around, a much more interesting character.
One thing's for sure, since her storyline took steam, Bobbie is totally stealing this show. She made Draper TV versione much more intense than her book counterpart.
Puked a little in my mouth when I saw Fish Mooney, all dead and still wearing perfect make up, about to be resurrected. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. This was a good season so far.
Really felt like the Jimmy side of things is getting a bit boring at the moment, unfortunately as I was really enjoying it at the start of the season, luckily we have Mike to fall back on, and his story at the moment is what's holding the show up for me, the final scene alone was spectacular, tension and acting wise.
You can tell Justin Roiland has stepped away from the writing aspect. It’s sad because him and harmond really brought something special to this show. Come back roiland!
Absolutely jaw-dropping. I waited until all 10 episodes were available and watched them consecutively. Had I watched the show in weekly intervals I probably would have agreed with the majority of other viewers and lost interest. But I implore you to give it a chance. It’s quite unlike anything else. 10/10.
I couldn't make it thru this series due to Moses Ingram's terrible acting skills. It was just too much to endure.
Wow! This show is so good.I don't think SyFy could have made this season at all with their budget.
The episodes of this season so far are really underwhelming.
Seems like they want to repeat with Cameron Monaghan what they did with Robin Lord Taylor. Sadly, Cameron is a terrible actor in opposite to Robin. I don't buy his acting one bit, it's pretty overacted every single time, he's annoying the moment he appears.
The shooting in the police department was terrible as well. Police men seem to be simple puppets in this show.
Make a briefing and tell them of Gordon's ex-wife but don't pay any attention when she's in your police department, because of a little make-up. Don't even take cover if someone throws a flash grenade next to your frigging desk. No, no.
But most of all, don't shoot the bad guys because script demands otherwise, instead get shot yourself.
So far, I am incredibly disappointed in this season. It's throwing stupidity at its audience in a way I didn't discover in season 1.
Meg's pronouns are "yick" and "uch"
Finally a movie that is definitely not pc. If you hate the pc culture as I do, you will enjoy this move. :alien:
The fact that Janice lived just spoiled it for me. She is the epitome of an obnoxious know it all who just can’t help but get in her own way. It would have absolutely served her right to have died.
What the fuck was that ending? Why was he even going out on the boat? So fucking stupid.
I honestly don't know how to explain how incredible this episode was.
Let's just say that I was so overwhelmed I had to pause twice to pull myself together during the last twenty minutes; it was so raw and powerfully executed I felt like I was intruding into someone else's painful memories for real. Nothing even remotely compares to this show!
Whoooooo this is boring. Its technically well acted and put together, even an important look at addiction, but what a snore-fest
boring so far. I'll give another 2 episodes a try.
So fu**** intense! LOVE IT
The use of the song What's Up again was perfect!
I'm happy that they're going to start fighting on different terms now.
Indeed, this movie goes nowhere.
Of course there is an ignorant child that ruins everything.
That was a good episode, but if this really is the Series finale, it sucked!
Great episode, great acting. I felt the story was a bit weird and they just "gave Wilford the train" with little push back. Seemed weird. We'll see where this goes.
Poor Jared... this scene was so surreal
Its sad how close this movie is from being great instead of good. The problem is that the last act the movie really starts to drag. I liked it up to that point and it has a good ending but it really could have been trimmed down. Still a good movie, with a good twist on the concept of baseball but could have been executed better.
STELLIO! STELLIO CONTOS! STELLIO! STELLIO CONTOS!

Some characters had some really well-written arcs (i.e. Smith and his family) but the majority of the characters were really poorly written and dragged the whole season down. The multiverse-travel crap was really the cheapest trick the writers could've used to advance the plot.
This was a supposed to be a show about people, about history and what we learned from it, but now it has entered the level of lower-shelf Sci-fi, which is really a shame, some of the 'human' moments were deeply affecting and were worthy of a better story to be honest.
