Excellent start! Kofi Siriboe is stunningly beautiful and delivers such a nuanced but electric performance. Wasn't as impressed with Dawn-Lyen Gardner, but Rutina Wesley is also turning in an interesting performance. I want to see where they go with the script, but this was a good start. Waiting for tonight's episode.
I found myself unsurprised about the double elimination... that was truly an uninspired lipsync to a GAY ANTHEM!!! WTH!
Acid Betty is so freaking annoying... I don't get why she needs to be so damn bossy. I adore Bob The Drag Queen!! She's so fierce! And so happy Chi Chi made it through!
Hilarious. Laugh out loud funny.
Dry humour, occasionally almost to the point of desiccation. I am not from the US, so hadn't heard much about this guy, so was more than pleasantly surprised by this comedy special. His sly, clever wit had me cackling at some odd hours of the night. Me likey. I'm now a fan. Helps that I think he's very handsome too.
Still one of my favourite episodes... The drums underscoring the Six's Baltar-assisted escape remain one of my favourite drum sequences of this entire show, and that's saying something considering Bear McCreary's utterly amazing score across all the seasons. But also "You're not my type", Roslin & Adama's sweetness at the end, and that sequence where the combined squads attacked the Resurrection Ship... just fine television. Stands up A DECADE after its release. Now THAT is good television.
Gorgeous, gorgeous visuals and effects. Kudos to that team. The script was utter tripe and the acting did not improve the material either. The acting was ridiculously overblown or stunningly underwhelming. This is one you watch for effects and that's it.
I did laugh out loud more than once at the unbelievably bad dialogue, and Eddie Redmayne... lawd, what to say? Just... dude, why? Still, I the visuals did what it could to balance the rest of this film. Didn't quite make it.
Oh Jax... you're breaking my heart. Heart hurts for you brother...
Fairly engaging despite being a flawed production. Were the battles in The War of the Roses really decided between armies of only a hundred or so men, and a handful of horses? This was my one disconnect. The fighting was all stilted. However the acting was quite good. And despite it not being 100% faithful to the historic telling, it did a pretty good job. Don't be deterred, it was well done.
This looks interesting... First episode is well constructed.
Oh Elliot... I'm rooting for your crazy ass.
Such a well written, engaging show. Seems dull on the outside, Georgette Heyer level drama on the inside. Well worth it from episode one on...
Liked Costner in this, and its been years since I've liked him in anything... well done. Octavia Spencer and Anthony Mackie are also very good.
That was bangerang! What a taut, well produced season. Engaging from start to finish. Excellent writing, acting, fight sequences... I really enjoyed this show.
Oh my hot damn! Karen girl... I don't know just how crazy you are. I hope to find out.
That final fight scene in the hallway was one of the tightest I've seen on television. #realtalk
Vincent oh Vincent... I smiled at the credit line. I know this is going to be good, and I'm five minutes into it. And Mr. D'Onofrio is the VILLAIN. Oh I am looking forward to this binge watch...
I did not expect such a brilliant first episode... What an intricate and nuanced representation of hacking life! Beyond this, the writing, and the acting are exceptional. It's also nice to see Christian Slater... he was a staple from my youth when I started messing with computers and learning how to code. This first episode was a very pleasant surprise... really was better than most of the crap out here, and I, in general, abhor the bulk of television on offer. This show looks more meaningful somehow.
The crow flies straight.... a perfect line.
