Excellent episode but Kirk really has an eject ion pod button on his console that seems very situation specific.
Underwhelming and anticlimactic ending to an otherwise great show.
This season has been awful. Season 1 was decent, 2 was bad, but this one is truly terrible. This finale was the only episode that was even mildly enjoyable in any way. Glad it's over.
possibility the most pointless "2nd" season to a TV show ever. avoid this crap 1/10
Season 1 was great this is a blatant cash grab.
What was the point of this season. It was all over the place.
A shame really. As much as I loved having Natasha Lyonne back on my screen (and she looked incredible), I think Russian Doll was perfect as a one season unit. This story didn't need to be told and I don't feel it gave us anything at the end of it all.
Also really sad that all the time shenanigans meant she skipped over having those final weeks with Ruth. I know it's like that in real life sometimes though... Regretting not seeing someone after it's too late. So maybe that's the right way to do it.
I really wanted to enjoy this season way more than I did, but it was too nonsensical for its own good.
Poor Ed :( But that was pretty close! So much intensity and a really funny end LOL
That final scene LOL!
Great episode. I might need to do an Aliens marathon.
ahhh, the olde hide child in trenchcoat trick! that can fool anyone on any military base.
What the hell am I watching? I REALLY want to love this show, but it's just so difficult. The action choreography in this episode was beyond awful, and we are STILL getting way too much focus on Leia and Reva. I don't care about young Leia, and I certainly don't care about Reva. What I care about is Obi-Wan and Anakin! I want to explore the relationship between those characters - not the one between Obi-Wan and Leia. This show is a mess and my faith in it is practically all gone. I suspect we might get one decent scene between Obi-Wan and Vader in the final episode, but aside from that, I don't see this show becoming anything near what I had hoped for.
Who is scoring this low? It is the best version of Star Trek I’ve seen for a long time. This episode was off the same high standard as the ones that preceded it and I have no doubt will follow.
this was like 7 TOS episodes crammed into one... and I, personally, am just fine with that
Goofy, yet totally enjoyable. Miley Cyrus did a good job. I heard the main song she sings was made just for the episode. Which is a lie. It’s a Pop version of the Nine Inch Nails song Head Like a Hole.
Except she just says “Hey I’m a hoe” instead lol. Still pretty much the same song. I don’t get the hate just because it what people wanted.
It easily could have been the Child’s Play remake or M3gan. It’s refreshing that it isn’t about a killer robot.
I came for the Nine Inch Nails songs, I stayed for the fun and fascinating tale.
As this episode opens I begin to see how this concept can work as a television series. The first episode was good but this is the episode that seals me in. Now I'm ready to see where this leads.
Much much better than the first season. And the ending wrapped up quite good - most questions answered. Didn't even feel rushed. I enjoyed it overall.
Wesley was just "fan service" I guess. No idea why Soong didn't have any backups.
A decent ending to a long meandering season.
:sob::sob::sob::sob::sob: OMG!!! Why did Ruth have to die???
I would have been okay with Wendy getting killed.
Unfortunately I think they didn't quite stick the landing with this one. The second half of the season just fell a bit flat too me. Too plot-holey and too clean.
I still love the show in it's entirety but just a tad disappointed with the finale.
My biggest issue with this episode ? It's too short. My second biggest ? Kwan Ha. Doesn't seem to be connected to the main story, is utterly uninteresting and is just taking away time.
The rest I did enjoy. Yes, it moves a bit slow but I don't mind. I didn't expect the whole plot to reavealed half way through and I'm sure this is projected for multiple seasons.
I'd hoped the title meant Halsey's day of reckocking had come but it's probably too early for that.
Okay, that was intense, this is kind of a ted lasso level of a show.
Apple is killing it to be honest. Investing in the right stuff.
props to my boy Dylan G for holding that position for what seemed like an eternity!
Jesus Christ! I can’t remember to feel so tense watching a tv show episode as I felt here. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for season 2!!!!
Well that just sounds like slavery, with extra steps.
