This show is great & amazing scenery. Makes me want to visit Montana.
7/10 good
Okay this is never going to win any awards!
But it sure is entertaining and good fun to watch, 80% of the cast are good and turn in great performances, the other 20% are just terrible and do detract from the show.
It does move fast and has no time for letting you stop and think, they give you the information and move on to the next scene, give you the information again and move on again, which is okay
I think this is going to be my guilty pleasure….
Sit down, watch and enjoy!!!!
Very slow, very boring, very pretentious, very crap, I would rather sever my leg than sit through another episode.
We gave it 18 minutes... 18 very long, very painful minutes. It's disjointed, has no direction and isn't the remotest bit funny - it's supposed to be a comedy - somebody missed the memo. The characters are completely uninteresting too.
1/10
I can understand that fans of the ip are discontent, but thn again fans always are. As someone who doesn't know anything about the source material I think this show is just excellent. The cast is great and diverse, the writing is good and it keeps me wanting more every episode
Loki (2021)
I have been a fan boi from day one of the marvel comics...
True God of Mischief...
I am gushing over episode one...
I would actually pay Disney for this series on its own...
So grab a seat.. An enjoy...
This one episode could have been a standalone film...sooooooo many easter eggs..so good infact i am gonna watch it again..to see what i missed..
Back when series was announced I imagined how it would look like, and this is exactly that!
This is the best adaptation of a video game. If you compare to the next biggest one - Last Of Us, that one was about following game’s story and focusing on characters and adding lot more drama.
With Fallout it actually replays some game moments and certain inside jokes without looking like a game at all.
Great that it’s not made “safe for all audiences”. This is bold, making story about severed head, cutting fingers on-screen! Main character has no nose. All the rivers of blood and guts! And notice how while we see all that gore, but when the dog is getting shot the camera cuts away :)
There’s too much story to tell and it shows. Most of the time it feels like we are being shown only half, if not less than half of the story. It could have been made much longer without losing anything. And many great actors like Michael Rapoport and Matt Berry only have one scene. They easily could have their own episodes.
Flashbacks are so amazing, just unbelievable and exceeds all expectations.
Just binged the entire thing, I liked it personally and think they did a great job.
I’ve never watched One Piece or read the manga ‘cause, honestly, I don’t have the courage or time to start a 1000+ episode anime or read even more than that. I didn’t even know what the story was about other than them being pirates, so this live action is a good opportunity to enjoy the story without it being too overwhelming.
So far I really enjoyed it, it is funny and entertaining. It doesn’t seem to be cringe and weird like other live actions Netflix put out throughout the years, but I am curious to read other people’s opinions (especially the ones who have watched/read One Piece before) once I finish watching. Looking forward to watch more episodes :)
Hmmm, 3 plays, 2 collected. Please let me know where you get the time machine that lets you watch and collect episodes aring in 2022! I think I can put it to better use than watching TV shows!
Totally fabulous! Definitely worth the watch. I can't believe I will have to wait a year for the 2nd season.
Is this based on the Hugh Howey (Wool/Silo) novel?
I missed an action TV show like this since banshee
wai, why y'all haitn on Kaley?
Please please please don’t suck!!!
People downvoting this like we know anything at all about the show.
Dont understand why rating shows/episodes before the release date is still a thing.
Surprised people seem to not like it as much as I do. For context, I am a late 30s white male and usually get annoyed by thrown in your face gender politics but this didn't do that to me. Amazing acting and I was intrigued with all 3 episodes so far. Guess I am blind to something others can see. I also feel like it is trying to give both sides to all stories. Just watch the amazing actors do their thing.
Making it in B&W. Why? It isnt clever or cool, just annoying.
The production value on this is visablly fucking insane. What a gorgeous show.
And with only 2 episodes out I am already hooked like haven't been by a show in a long time.
EDIT after full first season:
Damn, I'm disappointed right now. It started off so well with the first episode. But with each passing episode it felt more like two different shows. One on Trantor about Empire. Which was fucking amazing science fiction and mesmerizing to watch. But also one on Terminus about the Foundation itself. Which felt like a cheap SyFy spinoff in the same universe. Very bizarre.
Still an entertaining watch throughout but it could have been so much better.
BTW. I haven't read the books.
Here we go again - another mystery type show that will get cancelled before any answers or conclusions to the story.
Easily one of the best shows out right now. I'm truly sad it was only 10 episodes but the best shows usually are short just to keep us wanting more. It could be my ties to growing up in the area but the characters and plot were so driven that I was hooked.
Watched the first 2 episodes, can't wait for the rest.
Episode 1 is kinda slowish, but it's getting us familiar with the people.
Episode 2 is much better and has some action.. now it's starting to really get interesting.
8/10
A couple of What the... moments.
Dad and kid are driving down the road. Both are sitting on their seatbelts. Dad swerves as he's looking at the government agents behind him - they're both wearing their seatbelts!
The kid jumps into the back of the van and puts on his seatbelt, but when mum hits the brakes to look at the cops - he's in the front seat!
The big shootout. They've killed the guys - why wouldn't you take their truck. Why in the world would you walk in the desert?!!!!
I don’t get the negativity. Honestly you people are so entitled. The lack of context is intentional and there are several clues as to why it’s that way. It’s not a 50s to show (we haven’t seen them imitate a 60s tv show yet, that’s next week). It’s going to change probably every week, even up to the point of imitating modern tv shows like the office from what they’ve said. And the context is clear enough by the end of the second episode. Even without reading additional articles to explain the more subtle hints, you can tell what’s going on at least loosely. Plus it does a great job lampooning the absurdity of 50s tv and ideals about homemaking and marriage. To hilarious effect
sigh Yet another good show canceled. This one didn't even get to finish out its entire first season. Not sure if, when or where I'll be able to find the final 4 episodes of season 1 as only 6 have been made available so far.
This was a bit of a mash-up of "Wisdom of the Crowd" and "Person of Interest". But it was still enjoyable. I would have loved to have gone along for the ride to see where it would take us.
UPDATE:
Got to see the remaining episodes of season 1. Very glad they released them. It wrapped up the storyline very nicely, but also left it open for the story to continue - which we already know it will not.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Wow only a 61% rating and it hasn't even been released yet. It's so bad people from the future built a time machine just to travel back to warn us!
Most of the first episode was almost unwatchable. I was disinterested in the characters.
The first two episodes were fantastic. It's silly to compare this to game of thrones or hotd considering how antithetical the source materials are to one another. The trailers and character posters looked like they had some spotty cgi and tacky costumes but it all looks stunning in this nearly billion dollar first season. It's already better than any of the hobbit movies and im wildly excited for whats to come after tempered expectations before watching.
This has a great premise and the possibility of being a great show, but if the Brits were doing it they'd make it spectacular and in 8 episodes or less. This is a typical American "how-can-we-drag-a-short-story-into-5-season-before-killing-it-unexpectedly” show waiting to happen. I want to love it, but it just drags on and on. 6/10
Update - someone put a bullet in the back of it's head... about 4 episodes too late. Painfull to watch the further along it went.
