This show is absolutely awesome. Have I mentioned how much I love this crazy fun shit? I'm addicted to this goofiness and I love these idiots way too much.
The Legends bursting out laughing (except Rory) at the idea of fighting the ultimate evil that even the Time Bureau is afraid of sums this show perfectly well. Pure gold. Don't jinx it guys. "I'm afraid of the time Boogeyman". I was literally crying. That scene was perfection.
Only the Legends can mess things up when it seems that they have everything under control. Like Sara said "were bringing the circus to the circus".
And Gary. I need more Gary. He was so funny. His scenes with Sara were perfect. His line about how his leg was falling asleep and possibly permanently was hilarious. Give that guy a medal. Btw, is that the guy Sara seduced to steal his badge last episode? I guess he is since I don't remember him from last episode.
The fight between Sara and Agent Sharpe was fantastic. However, Sara should've easily kicked her ass. They're going to be a thing, right?
Sara: "I have faith I you"
Stein: "Why?" Classic Legends.
The man of Steel, lol. That was a good reference.
Rory: "We've all done things were not proud of, except haircut"
Ray: "I'm really bad at returning library books". Gotta love Ray.
Billy Zane was amazing. I hope he comes back. He should be a regular in every episode. He's just too good.
"If I see a clown I'm out of here. I don't like their stupid faces, funny shoes and razor-sharp teeth". You and me both sister. Btw, one clown was enough. I didn't need that clown mafia.
Ray identifying poop "Where there's poop, there's prize. My God Ray.
I loved the Titanic reference. "Whoever built that ship outta be shot!" laughed so much. I love how meta this show is. The writers don't hold it back.
That ending. I loved it. Its time to call Constantine guys.
Fantastic episode. I loved it way too much. References were on point. I particularly loved the "Hello? Anybody home? McFly?" Nice foreshadowing
And I think I missed something, since when is Wally competent enough to be the Flash? Then again, I realize that Barry wasn't too much competent and it stays the same. So next year Barry has to come back. I guess he'll be out for a couple of episodes while Wally takes on the mantel and his red suit. Now the show's gonna be called "Kid Flash", right? That is, until someone frees Barry. But he going into the Speedforce could potentially create another Savitar. Like I said, messed up.
And when Barry is saying his farewell, I'm sorry but I found it hilarious that they take their time to say goodbye when there are people on the background yelling and dying while the city is being destroyed.
The same when Savitar was about to use the quantum splicer and literally said "We have to hurry" he walks slowly. And immediately before the philosopher's stone exploded and Barry told Wally to get everybody out and he leaves his sister behind. I just found it hilarious. And did Cisco literally call Savitar "Two-face"? No wonders he's angry, sad and needs a hug.
I liked the fact that Caitlin kept her powers. I don't want them gone. I like Killer Frost but I wanted good old Caitlin back so I'm settled for Chilling Frost. Btw, I'm waiting for memes of Caitlin saying "I'm something else".
Seriously now guys. I bet H.R. sacrificed himself with his face swap, especially since it was used this episode. They showed us that H.R.'s thigamajig can be used to make you appear as a person of the opposite sex. And H.R. did feel responsible for what happened. His last words to Cisco were basically a farewell. He thinks he's totally useless and he did nothing to help the team but putting obstacles on their way, so I guess he sacrificed himself for Iris. I'm calling it!
It's either that or he's still alive and he's gonna do something next week. Those flags he was throwing during the whole episode were too damn red. So he was either misdirectioning us or he's about to do something to punish himself for Iris' death at the coat of his own.
Damn it! Savitar is a fucking monster. Seeing Barry killing Iris was extra disturbing. I can't believe it! Episode 22 last season Barry lost his father and now he loses Iris.
Everything they did to try to prevent the future and every step they took, every plan they made led them towards it. I wonder what would've happened if they hadn't showed up at Infantino Street. Savitar would've been there, waiting like a freaking idiot.
Despite that depressing and heavy last scene, the episode was SPECTACULAR! Smart Snart will ways be my favourite thing in the world. "Make the plan. Execute the plan. Expect the plan to go off the rails. Throw away the plan". He was golden this episode, especially with this quote “Remind’s me of Jaws, couldn't show the shark because they couldn't afford to make it look good”, rotflmao.
And the Lyla thing was just so weird. So at the beginning she doesn't give them the piece of Dominator tech at the expense of Iris' death but at the end she was just like, it was a prank bro. It made no sense to me.
And the whole H.R. telling "Barry" where Iris was after he told them to take her some place save and not tell him where she was so that Savitar wouldn't was so damn stupid, unless they knew something we didn't.
This episode had a lot of speedlogic. I mean, it's all a paradox but when Barry's memory got erased, Savitar's should have. I mean, he himself should've been erased because he's never created in the new timeline. And Wally not having powers is perfectly OK, but he shouldn't remember even having them in the first place as well as the rest of team Flash. They shouldn't acknowledge Wally having powers simply because Savitar didn't exist to give them to him. But you know: Speedforce, I ain't gonna explain shit.
Funniest part of the episode was Savitar's memory being suddenly erased and he looking into the camera saying "Who am I?". Man, I couldn't laugh any harder. It was like who am I? why am I here? Please, somebody explain. I need to know.
That Bazooka part got me rotflmao. Damn, H.R.!
"So how do we know each other ?" "Your brother" immediately proceeds to watch the color of his skin, lol. And Wally's reaction. My lord, I need of gif of that. Julian saying "Oh my Lord. He's pathetic" was something I enjoyed. And the courtroom scene was just perfect. "Smiley face", I died. Original Barry Allen is such a goof. And low rent Mick Rory was something to remember. I love justice in the Flash, an arsonist is freed and then he basically sets a building on fire.
But the episode wasn't just that. No, they even included some emotionally heartbreaking scenes with Iris and Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Julian. Cisco saying that Caitlin was in every single memory he cherishes the most and Caitlin's reaction broke my heart into pieces. And then the elevator scene. Julian just signed his death certificate by telling Caitlin he loves her. And that dramatic scene was absolutely incredible. damn. "I never loved any of you", the elevator's door opens and she leaves the building. That was just cold. And her eyes, my goodness, I'm gonna die.
Don't let the reveal get us distracted. The episode was AMAZING! "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". My Lord, I couldn't stay sat during the whole episode. It was a roller coaster of emotions that lead to the big reveal of the season. Every episode made me doubt and change the face under the mask, but eventually called it right. After my freak-out yesterday, I knew it had to be Barry, who else would know so much about the future? "It was you Barry, it was you all along". Let the jokes begin.
I freaking love Tracy. She's way too funny. She should team up with Cisco to name all the metas. H.R. was on fire this episode. "Je suis...smart", lol. That and "We've got a big problem. Tracy's gone". I particularly loved the "I know that, normally one of you fellas goes out for thereat, but, I got this one". It's like he was leaning on the fourth wall. And when he said "Iris, FOCUS!" and Iris' whaaaat? face made it one of the best scenes this season.
I loved the way Barry pierced it all together. It's basically the way that I (and many others, I guess) did. That meme with the equations is just stuck in my mind right now.
But please, let's appreciate what Barry did. He created a flamethrower with his fingers and a gas canister. That was one of the coolest part of the episode. So sick!
And wtf is CC Jitters doing? They seriously named a drink after a homicidal maniac who killed dozens of cops in that very same place? At least it's on the secret menu, lol. Triple espresso and cayenne pepper. I seriously need it.
And now that Joe's happy, this kind of confirms it's Cecile who dies in the finale, isn't she? One a character is happy, death strikes.
Amazing episode. The storyline was so sad. Poor kids! It was so good to see Roman again out in the field. He has a lot of potential and I don't want him to be a goner. All the scenes with that asshole trying to just blame someone to make his name were amazing. I really hate his character and it speaks volumes of the actor. Being so little on screen, immediately as I see him I just hate him.
I don't want to see Nas gone. At the beginning I hated her. I didn't want to see her near the team but little by little she grew on me. In fact, I preferred to see Weller gone rather than her. At this point the show should be only about Patterson, Roman and Jane.
I can't believe that in this episode I only wanted to punch Reade in the face once. So Zapata is there with you all this time. She tries to help you and you don't listen. However, you listen to that guy in the hospital. Btw, he was lovely. I reallyiked him. I hope to see more of him.
At this point,I just want to know what happens to Reade after watching the tape. I've been looking for it since he took it from his coach's house.
And Phase Two. What in tarnationcis that? The West hemisphere? For God's Sake! They're just gonna blow America? I knew it was gonna be big ever since she left the country but man, that's heavy.
And now we just have to wait weeks for next episode. This season has been amazing so far and I hope it doesn't disappoint.
One more episode in which we don't get to know Patterson's real name. I'm starting to get anxious.
This was just perfect. Blindspot on point! The storyline was amazing and character's interactions were so damn good. I certainly enjoyed Jane swooping Weller's house at the beginning. Getting to see Cade again was such a pleasant surprise. I hope he sticks around and helps the team cause I really like the guy.
Now the only thing intocmy mind is what the hell has Sandstorm planned? I mean, phase Two and all but Shepperd is in a boat in the middle of the ocean, which means she's not in a country whatsoever, but in the middle of the freaking ocean. Maybe she's just going to blow the USA or something. I can't wait to know more.
And Patterson being the mole was so obvious ever since she was freed from Sandstorm. However, I didn't expect her to have a microphone in her teeth but her ear. I don't quite understand how the migraines come into the pictures. Speaking of, I found it so funny when the team started reading the scrip. To me, it was hilarious.
On other things, the only thing I'm struggling with is Reade's storyline. I don't care about his drug addition, the same way I didn't care about Tasha's gambling.
I love Jane and Roman's relationship but it makes me sad to think about what could happen when he discovers it was her who zipped him.
Patterson is the best. Seeing her shooting Borden was damn satisfying. And her speech was heartbroking. And poor Patterson, she deserves the best. She needs a happy storyline.
And those guys at the end, I don't think they're there for Jane, but for Oliver. There's something suspicious about him. But we'll see in next episodes.
I'm so hyped right now. This so is so damn good
I love the Arthurian Legend. In fact, I related to Ray in so many levels. As a kid who's grew up with these stories I was absolutely fascinated with the Legends going to Medieval England. I liked the episode. I might be biased but it was lovely to see this period of time.
So we've got King Arthur, Guinivere, Sara Lance-A-Lot and Sir Galahad. I had the goofiest grin on my face when I heard that name. I'm still in disbelief that Malcolm Merlyn, The Magician, wasn't Merlin. I'm disappointed it didn't happen. I would've loved it if they had Merlyn to remove his hood while angrily saying " I also used to be Merlin".
I loved Sir Galahad. He was far more interesting than King Arthur. In fact, he had zero presence and I couldn't hold the feeling that he was an angel in Supernatural a couple of weeks ago.
Ray was absolutely adorable. You can certainly say that visiting Camelot was his dream and he made the best out of it. That's my dream too. He suddenly became so damn cute with that weird accent and his "I'm Raymond of the Palms" bit. I always felt that Ray was the guy who wants to do the right thing and be a hero but doesn't know where to stop. Ray: CEO, Sheriff, Samurai, Knight, Fed, Dinosaur Hunter and maker of wind. And well, he also was a Jedi this episode. Star Wars' basically becoming a sub theme this season.
Damn, Rip! I love you. Bad guys always get me. I can't get over it. And that voice and accent...Okay, seriously, Arthur Darvill was born to play the villain. He was fantastic last episode and I was mesmerised with his portrayal. Evil Rip has captivated me every second he's on screen. Rip's effectively brainwashed. Just look at him. He's totally empty. Evil Rip will forever be my MVP. I just love him.
I loved Mick's and Stein's interactions "I have more patents than Rory has felonies". And Ray talking to Galahad: "I'm a big fan", "A fan. So you make wind", lol. That and "The king has left the building".
Another amazing episode. Gun control policy was certainly not an issue that I expected to see Arrow tackle. This show keeps surprising me. Another solid episode and we finally learn about Renee's backstory. And they handled it perfectly. I loved that there was no wining side. And Curtis and Felicity made one of the best points this episode: you can disagree politically without being disagreeable. Bravo. I felt like instead of gun control what we really need in this show is bow and arrow control, lol.
Oliver Queen saving the day and not the Green Arrow was perfect. I was looking forward to seeing him behaving as the Mayor. His speech at the end was lovely and that scene trying to stop Edlund was absolutely amazing. Very well written and acted. Stephen Amell nailed it. What an acting! That "I owe it to them, not you", damn it Ollie, fucking mic drop. He's a killer public speaker.
I loved seeing Vigilante again, despite gun control. He's a pleasure to watch and he saying that he carried a better weapon was so fun. I guess at this point we can all agree: arrow 1 - guns 0.
I said it last week, I've been looking forward to learn about Renee's backstory. And even though it was tragic (which I expected it to be) it was lovely. Seeing him become Wild Dog, his origin story and why he wears that outfit was amazing. That costume means protecting people and not letting anyone die again. Believable and natural. His backstory certainly flesh out his character and makes the audience emotionally invested. And I definitely am: "Let's get your daughter back", dammit, there are freaking ninjas cutting onions in my room.
When I saw Ollie pointing a gun I felt weird like, man, that's not your jam, pick an arrow, it's scarier. It was nice to see Thea back. Her comment was just epic: "the dragon lady" and Adrian Chase laughing in the background.
This season's approaching S1 in quality. Where's Prometheus? Is he just a thing that lives in the lore? I want him back, but the ep was great
Guess who's back! Yeah, I really missed Supergirl and I was waiting for this episode so badly. Supergirl at her most heroic performance so far. It was very interesting and I'm glad the writers noticed this show is called Supergirl and not the Adventures of Supergirl's friends. I love seeing Kara as a reporter. Back in season 1 it all meant a lot to her. Losing her job was just too painful so having her going around being a reporter was incredible.
Outstanding performances tonight. Winn and Mon-El were absolutely awesome. Winn's facial expressions always get me, and today, he was awesome. Yeah, Winn, indeed it's Stargate. I won't buy the Kara/Mon-El thingy. The final scene showed a brother/sister relationship and I feel like the show is trying to show it, but it doesn't quite fit. And now we can all agree Mon-El is the prince right? I mean, it's quite obvious isn't it? If not, why did the Dominator bow?
Anyways, solid episode. Loved Winn's interactions, but I need more Roulette, though. She's an awesome character and her business relations are so funding weird. She's the Napoleon of business. I love her character, she's so creepy. And the Dominator? Not really sure why they have to buy slaves when they have mind control technology, though.
And I never thought it was possible, but they've managed to make James even more unlikeable. He bounces in the office talking about how brave Guardian is and how many bad guys he's captured and no one notices? Please James wear a name tag: I'm Guardian, yes, I know I'm awesome. I don't give a rat's as about him.
Loved the quotes this episode: "This planet socks" was pretty funny, as well as "Start the car" and "I'm not a red shirt, you're a red shirt" got me rolling on the floor. The dialogue was really sparkled today. Gotta love these guys.
Now let's wait for another Likewise episode next week.
What a fun episode. I absolutely loved the film noir vibe.
One of the reasons why I enjoy this show so much is because a ragtag team of misfits becoming a family is one of my favorite tropes ever. The Legends are just delightful. Ray and Nate bickering and bro-hugging were hilarious. Mick and Amaya's Bonnie and Clyde team-up was unexpected, but worked extremely well. And Sara and Stein shared some touching, heartfelt moments.
I promised myself that I would focus on positive aspects of episodes in my reviews and not yell too much about the bad. So I just want you all to know that I do acknowledge the astounding level of hypocrisy of Sara and Stein deciding that keeping their family safe is more important than history just one week after the crossover where everyone turned their backs on Barry because of Flashpoint. Is it frustrating? Yes. Am I going to rant angrily about it? No. No, I'm not.
We haven't seen Malcolm Merlyn for a while. His fight with Sara was so good. There are few things better than two former League of Assassins members trying to kill each other.
And Snart was there as well! Which reminds me, if Ray has his suit back, who's going to wield the cold gun now?
The show has been working perfectly without Rip, but I guess he's coming back soon. I don't mind his character, but I've gotten used to the team dynamic we have now and I'm afraid his return might ruin that.
So much epicness. And it was only part 1! It felt like a 42 minute movie! I was jumping up and down. I think I might have broken my chair. We've had crossovers before but this was way above the others. The cast was amazing. I'm a big big fan of the four shows but seeing them all under the same roof was amazing. The dominators look good, even though they didn't do much. I really loved the fighting towards the end, especially Sara and Oliver. It felt like Civil War airport fight for TV scale.
Where do I start? Sara was brilliant, always saying what we are thinking "are we supposed to pretend like we don't hear him?" Dig's simply amazing. I will never get tired of his reaction when he meets Barry: "My life was somewhat normal before I met you" or "You know why I never did drugs? I was afraid to see weird stuff", I had to pause, calm down and start again. When he said "It's a trap" that meme was echoing in my head. Mick was also amazing. He's growing on me. He calling Supergirl skirt was so Mickish.
But the MVP of the episode was Oliver. I agree with Iris, Oliver just got so much hotter, how can that even be possible? His dialogue felt brilliant, especially in the time vault. That scene brought chills to my spine "you're not a God , Barry". I loved his wtf, Barry expression at the beginning of the episode. I can't get over it. That and the "one sci-fi problem at a time". So epic. he run out of arrows, holy cow, I thought Legolas and him were somehow related.
The subplot was good, except for Wally. Stop winning and train, assbutt. And Cisco, why don't you blame the drunk driver? I have a feeling he's becoming Reverb. I didn't like erroneous turning against Barry, but helped to move the plot forward so I'm cool with it.
"Tell your mother I'll see her soon". Writers, don't you dare to kill Grey.
I'm so hyped for Arrow's season 1 callbacks. Where's the Waverider when you need it? This is going to be so awesome I think I might explode.
(1,106-word review) A prominent theme here was that of introspection, which was conveyed/reiterated – or iterated in the sense of also "telling" and informing us of it, in addition to it being there to notice and connect the dots if you pay attention enough to dig a little deep into your imagination and come up with various observations – by Father Delgado's class lecture about heroes, the arcs they follow, and the negative pivotal moment towards its end that knocks them down – an event of loss: losing everything, then regressing to "Step 1," a place at the beginning of their journey, or even further back, and ending up worse for wear and worse off than at the start of their arc. The lesson is the potential of the hero rising back up against all odds and overcoming the constrictions within one's self, now armed with more pronounced strength of will and character, immense and powerful, than they managed to achieve in the "first round," following the personal battle against the enemy of obstacles, trails, and tribulations.
As usual for this show, there was more seasoning of a symbolic and parallelistic nature to an element of the storytelling. I noticed first Father Delgado's lecture in connection with that; it was easily distinguishable. Most notably, however, Tyrone's shot-in-the-dark assumption about him, boiling down to asserting that he has no one and that he became a man of God within the sacred confines of what that entails, all from a desired place of avoidance – wanting to avoid and prevent feeling anything, highlighted a possible parallel due to cutting to a different scene – one that happened to be Tandy and Liam in the church.
That assertion, and its plausible, perfect correlation with her mindset, has two evident purposes/interpretations – (1.) for us to add an extra layer to our understanding and assessment of her character, and (2.) that Tyrone made it with her in mind and not directed solely at Delgado. The second interpretation could indicate that he cares so much about her to the point where her struggles and the things she's dealing with are contributing to his side of internal conflict, further perpetuated by the supernatural connection with her through their respective powers, even though he adamantly brought up his aversion to being inside her head: involved in her problems – as if he's trying to convince himself of the opposite and convince himself that he doesn't care to that level, refusing to acknowledge that it concerns him in both meanings of the word.
The main focus was showcasing the fallout of the "conclusions" of each story arc towards the end of the previous episode, the emotional/mental turmoil circling inside Tyrone and Tandy, and the ways they are coping – the "regression" of our two "heroes" through attempting to make that a reality, only there's no such thing. Human change and evolution are unceasing, for better or worse; it's permanent and flowing. You can't go back to prior versions of yourself or turn back time itself to cheat the system of life and change. You can try to accomplish that, though it'll be through the means of concocting and self-inflicting the illusion that reliving who you were in the past and doing the same things will somehow undo all the events and experiences that contributed to who you are currently and shaped the person you are in reality. It's a self-made trap, and the way out – the way to move forward instead of doing anything in your power to remain stuck is through the realization of that truth, the subsequent acceptance of it, and turning your experiences into something positive and uplifting, especially concerning "lifting" yourself back up.
It was rough seeing Tyrone in this angry-at-the-world – but general possession of anger – state of mind. However, Tandy's side of that stood out slightly more, as it was, for the most part, incredibly frustrating – seeing her in that state of mind, particularly her method of attempting to move forward. It was most frustrating. Her actions, given their relation to what she has and her capabilities for a way to cope, are understandable – if she never got powers, she would've gone about it the same way she's familiar with going about life; she also did that in this instance of displaying the type of person she's been hiding behind and masquerading as to a degree most of her life.
Stealing hopes, especially Mina's and the half-successful attempt to steal Liam's hopes, no matter the "logic" behind it, is a step into dangerous waters because it's one of those things where a character crosses a certain threshold into potentially being seen and digested differently by a significant portion of the viewers, possibly even permanently: not necessarily to the extent of irredeemable but certainly a stretched out period of intimately disliking the character in question, not to mention it's a somewhat irritating thing to watch. There's no justification. At least she's self-aware, expressing it about 30 minutes in, followed by the eventual semi-redemption moment with her decision to go and apologize to Liam – at least that aspect wasn't drawn out.
As the penultimate episode, it didn't have as much plot progression as you'd expect; the content was still engaging and exciting. But there was the scene at the beginning of Chantelle finding her way to the Roxxon pipe, the scene with Mina witnessing the ancient energy bursting out of the other pipe, infecting those two guys – the same thing that happened on the oil rig, and I vaguely remember that spreads from person to person throughout New Orleans in the finale, post-apocalyptic-esque – topped with the challenging situations Tyrone and Tandy found themselves in during the last few minutes. Those situations, notably his situation, and that ending set up quite the season finale of a cascade of events and progression; a lot of effort here went into laying the groundwork for it.
From another perspective, there didn't necessarily need to be, even though the next one is the finale. This show has felt primarily focused on the characters – being character-driven rather than story-driven, not to mention the story arcs seem "straightforward." They're not intricately written and deeply layered to where it's necessary to put them front-and-center for 99.9% of the season with most of the screen time to avoid having no choice but rushing to the finish line. There has been a slight feeling of a sudden awareness on the part of the writers that the end of the season is right around the corner regarding the previous two or so, particularly this one; they've felt "different," but not in a negative, "Oh, this is detrimentally rushed" way.
F**ing Holden!... :o I hoped that he'd at least have a better explanation but I'm not surprised at all that he didn't.
Ok, first things first: I was quite irritated that Cara waited so long to try to save her brother. I wasn't sure if she was waiting for everyone to leave (which seemed most likely) or didn't yet think about it. It kinda bothered me a little bit seeing all these people in their house, talking casually while her dead brother is lying there. Couldn't/shouldn't they at least give their family a bit of time to grief in private!?! Anyway, I assume Cara's reasoning to wait with her plan was either to protect that animal (if the others learn about them they'll surely run some tests that those animals won't enjoy) or she thought that no one would believe her. Waiting seems very risky to me though as brain cells start to die after around eight minutes, IIRC. If the animals cannot revers that (and I guess it might be very difficult to reverse) she'd risk her brother having permanent brain damage (or she isn't aware of that yet - after all she's quite young). Unfortunately we have to wait for the next episode to see how that'll play out. I guess we'll learn much less about the Laconians than I thought.
Monica continues to be at the center of the action (or close to it - too close in this case!).
Marco seems to be very very bad at loosing. And Philip standing up to him didn't seem to make thing any better. Only Rosenfeld seems to be able to reason with him. She's totally badass btw! Not afraid to openly speak to Marco and disobey his orders.
Then there was Jim's explanation for what he did and it was really really bad. I already expected that it was for Naomi, out of a gut feeling, and not thought through but that explanation with not being able to have killed Philip and be with Naomi?!?... :o Wake up Jim! It was Bobbie who fired that missile and you didn't even give the order (he instructed Bobbie to wait). So that explanation is just BS IMO. Anyway, it's Jim, I guess... He might be dead though once Bobbie finds out :o :D
Camina was extremely pissed at the end and totally badass. Marco won't have it easy at all now. I'm just a little bit surprised that Philip still sees Camina as an enemy.
Wow, I really liked this episode. There were a couple of things that bothered me, but I'll leave them for the end.
I loved the actress playing Purity. She was amazing at switching on and off constantly. She really sold the evil look and the lovely and helpful side of Julia. Her inner struggle was one of the best parts of the episode. However, her powers were a little off. She's kind of a mixture between Kryptonian, Black Siren, and the Banshee from season 1. Kara showing her mercy and her willingness to help was the dire t opposite of Alex's attitude. This might be the first time that I didn't like Alex on the show, which I thought wasn't possible. When I saw her pointing the gun at Julia at the beginning of the episode I couldn't believe. That doesn't fit Alex's character, noting the slightest. Then, we got another Maggie mention. At this point, I'm starting to get convinced that somehow she'll be back on the show, hopefully, with a rather interesting story that goes beyond being Alex's girlfriend.
Mon-El admitting he was a self-absorbed and misogynist guy was good. However, I hate all this The CW manufactured drama. He loves Kara, but he's married to Imra. Just stop it. Kara deserves better than to get her hopes high and then her heart crushed and Imra deserves better than to be cheated. Still think she's up to no good, though. At least Imra confessed she and Brainy had other plans for going back (maybe end the Worldkillers? or help them?).
I alwayshate when shows misuse important and vital character who could definitely balance out a fight. It was quite convenient that J'onn opulent hold that column by himself and somehow he managed to do it immediately after Purity was gone. The same with Mon-El, who mysteriously recovered when there was nothing else to do.
The Sam/Lena stuff today was great. That final scene was outstanding. It brings me joy to know that Lena knows what's happening to Sam. I just hope she saw her flashing red eyes. At this point with Lena, I don't know what to think.
You know what's the worst part of all of this? That we've got to wait until April freaking 16 for the show to be back. I hate breaks as much as the next, but 2 freaking months? I know its all because of the Andrew Kreisberg's scandal, although they say it's just products ton stuff, but that's way too much time. Let's just hope the writing and the quality this show has had this season remains. Oh, and let's enjoy Legends on the meantime.
Solid episode with some outstanding moments. Auntie Thea's awake! It's a Thanksgiving miracle! Seeing Oliver in the GA suit is a amazing. I need him to go back in the field.
I'm so glad they aren't keeping secrets and telling the truth. Well, except for poor William. I'm loving this kid more and more. His scenes with Oliver are so sweet and tender. And he called him dad! But poor kid. He's kidnapped by a psychopath, loses his mom, finds out the GA is his dad and once everything is going back on track, his dad gets arrested right in front if him. Damn you, agent Watson. I love that there's finally a competent cop on the show but this FBI prosecution thing is getting out of hand. I'm looking forward to seeing what that irrefutable proof is, though. I'm guessing it has something to do with that photo of Oliver in Russia Susan had last season.
It's a pleasure to see Michael Emerson act. It's the subtle way in which he says things that I love the most. Genuinely menacing. "Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war". He even quotes Shakespeare, what's not to like? Going through all that trouble just to have a conversation with Oliver was weird.
Katie Cassidy is enjoying herself with Black Siren and so am I. But what are her motivations? She's working with Cayden James for a reason and I refuse to believe it's just because he saved her life. There has to be something else. They were quite fun together, though.
I know this season is all about family and father-son bonds but is every single character on the show going to have a son? Cayden's son is probably random character number 52 who died off screen but for some reason Ollie had something to do with his demise, but his actions led to his death.
I liked Curtis a lot in this episode. He's finally getting some character development. I'm glad he first called Felicity out. He was right all along. She was a hypocrite when she called Curtis out for using their prototype, especially when spending the money and naming the company after a terrorist organization. At least both of them apologized.
I really loved the Dig-Ollie conversation. Very well-written and acted. Both were great and Dig had some fair points. I loved how they addressed last year's crossover and that Dig's dream was being the GA, which will only mean that Ollie's perfect life was with Laurel, right?
Dinah was great. Her scene with Quentin was pure emotion. It's insane that she has chemistry with literary EVERYONE.
Rene is a national treasure. He loves Billy Joel! If this episode had had him as guest star I would've lost my shit. "Hossette!", lmao. I can't help but loving him more and more. "I'm not gonna pull it like I did in high school" instead imma throw a freaking knife at it. Goals. "I'm a fan, in a mask", lol.
"State vs Queen", where have I seen this before? I loved to see Moira's lawyer. If only Chase were alive to be his legal defense, lol.
The techno-nonsense strikes again, not as much as episodes ago, but still. Felicity and Curtis just created an algorithm from scratch in less than one minute by just angry typing. Unbelievable.
How is Ollie going to make it to Barry's wedding if he's been released on bail? So excited for the crossover event and happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Biggest smile on my face. I've really missed these mentally incompetent idiots. I love this big dumb show so much.
I'm cool with the cliffhanger ending in like two minutes with no-beard Rip appearing through a portal while a dinosaur runs amuck at his back only to disband the team. Come on Rip, give them a little credit, they saved the world twice. Anachronisms are not a big deal.
The whole time bureau thing reminds me if MiB and it's a cool addition, though they're basically jerks.
I really love the writers going meta and keeping on last season's goofiness that made this show so good and entertaining.
Sara is a badass, as always. Ray's still adorable. Stein is going to be a grandfather and he makes an amazing team with Jax. Rory's still the best. And Nate, well, he misses Amaya. And the latter is suffering from a crazy amount of power summoning an army of creatures to defend her village.
"Your salad sucks" and "agent hotcakes" were amazing and had me rolling. Hilariously funny. As well as "We came, we saw, we kicked Caesar's ass". I love Nate and Ray's bonding. That's bromance.
I loved the new motto: "Sometimes we screwed things up for the better". New slogan for the intro please. This is what makes this show so great.
Beware! Do not mess with Rory's best feature, he might hold a grudge against you. Btw, I loved that he finally got to go to Aruba. He deserved it.
I loved seeing the Legends work on a normal job. But it was fun as hell to see Sara working at Sink and Shower Stuff and imagining sliding his boss' throat. Gotta love her.
One episode on and I'm addicted. I can't stop watching these idiots with special abilities screw things up even worse.
I'm guessing Rip is totally covering for Rory stealing his portal watch thingy and I'm sure he made the Time Bureau miss Caesar on purpose. And Mallum? Is she Lily's baby? I've got a bad feeling about Stein. He said he'd make it to the birth. Bad feeling.
I think that was one of the best episodes so far. Four things that stood out to me:
- I'm actually glad we finally got to see the "real" Renie. That girl's a great actress. Even though we had already seen some scenes where it was obvious that she's human she still managed to freak me out because I still wasn't convinced she's not a Synth :D So thank God she finally removed her contact lenses and went back to "her real self".
- Odi turning back into a regular Synth was really sad. He just didn't know what to do with his freedom.
- Another scene that actually surprised me was the scene where the Synths broke out. It was heart-breaking to see how they were so happy and glad to finally get out - Just to die immediately.
- And the last scene just broke my heart. I can't believe Pete died. I always thought it would be one of the main Synths that will die at some point (e.g. Niska, Max or even Leo). I really did not see that coming. And when Pete got stabbed I was still sure he would survive it. I still can't believe it. I really liked him :c
Now I just want a good explanation of how he becomes Savitar. I guess he's caught in a loop. So his reason for killing Iris is the emotional damage (+ burns) caused by Iris' death. So if Iris doesn't die, Savitar never exists. It's a bootstrap paradox. Savitar kills Iris, thus causing Barry to become Savitar who then kills Iris to make himself become Savitar, etc, etc, etc. So, if Savitar doesn't kill Iris he'll never exist. So Savitar wants Barry to become EmoBarry so that in the further future he becomes Savitar. And how does he do it? Simply, killing Iris is the key for him to become Savitar. That or he's some time remnant or a bastard brother or whatever. But it makes more sense that he's caught in a loop. The real question is, how do you beat yourself when he knows everything that's gonna happen? And what did Barry do to himself to make him hate himself so much? How does he end up killing Iris, the love of his life? Did FutureBarry know he was Savitar and he didn't tell PresentBarry? I guess Joe's quote at the very end was kind of the answer: "love is the only thing we got in this world. Without it, nothing really matters". Man, I could go all day talking about this. My sister just kicked me out of her room. But we can now safely say "Barry Allen is the fastest man alive.....As Savitar".
Now, who's ready to see Grant Gustin play a villain? 'Cause sure as hell I am. In that ending scene he was really terrifying. Must be that his hair is parted in the opposite direction and that's why he's evil. Just kidding. I'm really hyped to see him playing the big bad. I wonder what actually happened to his face. He went full on Harvey Dent there. I assume it's the commom of burn of Evil trademark. Or Maybe he went way too fast and it burn up? Then he went to the past to share his angst against himself. He's all Speedforce and he can't heal himself?
WOW! Absolutely amazing season finale. It was a nice wrap up forth whole season but please, someone tell me that Cat Grant is going to stick in season 3. And she knew! I knew she knew. but I couldn't help but screaming so loud. I wanted to point out Melissa's acting. I didn't expect this ending to be so touching and emotional. I totally felt her pain. it was so damn real. I'm glad Mon-El is gone, so,so glad but it was too obvious that he was going to "sacrifice" himself to save her. I guess that's Mon-El story. He started on a pod and ended on another one. That's his season's storyarc. From pod to pod we'll carry on. I guess we have another 5 months of "Who's in the Pod? Who's in the fucking Pod?" I guess it's, Reign? They even said her name so it could be her and since she's an enemy of Supergirl it all makes perfect sense.
I loved that Calista Flockhart made a Star Wars joke "Star Wars? Never seen it". Which is even funnier when you know she's married to Harrison Ford. And the "they have WiFi in the Himalayas", I laughed more than I should. I guess that's because they're not barbarians, lol.
and that wormhole? at first I thought it was all about time travel and that he was gonna appear in Legends or something. Then I remember today is not Tuesday.
Kara was way happier when the show was in CBS. Sad Kara makes me sad. I just have to say something: Melissa Benoist was born to play Kara Danvers. She's an incredible actress and she deserves much more recognition. Her emotional scenes are some of the best I've ever seen and I swear I feel her happiness when she's happy and her darkness just blows me away. I can't wait to see all the comments bitching about the gay marriage.
the only thing that pissed me off a little was the fact that Kara was stronger than Superman. Well, no way. They could've at least said that it was the Kryptonite that weakened him, but no way he's weaker. Plus, Superman and Supergirl fighting together was bloody awesome. So hyped for season 3!
Standing ovation. AMAZING. Man, I'm shacking. I'm speechless. There are no words to describe the fucking masterpiece I just watched. Everything was straight up perfect. So here it goes.
"The name of the island they found me on is Lian Yu. It's Mandarin for Purgatory". Goosebumps. And the first season logo. Man, everything was on point.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! That was fucking EPIC! That's how you do a finale. Oh my God. I can't go to sleep right now. There are no words. The episode was too good.
It all started with a father and a son on a boat and that's where it all ended. AMAZING. And Chase even had the same revolver Robert used! I'm in shock! That's such a crazy level of obsession on Chase. No freaking way it was a coincidence and he happened to have the same gun. And how the fuck did he know the kind of gun Robert used? Man, that's commitment. I bet he actually searched for the gun and dig to find it. Or he looked around on the bottom of the sea until he found it. That guy is bananas. His dedication is noteworthy. I was actually sad he had to go. He wanted to show Oliver who he really was and ended up dying the same way Robert did. Whatever the case, I'm gonna miss that psychopath so badly. "There's the killer and know and love", man. That and "William? Good name. Sort of a sweet kid, actually. You sure he's yours?"
My God. I don't know what else to say. I'm totally speechless. I love that brilliant crazy ass psychopath. Even in his death Chase was indeed 10 steps ahead. Straight up suicide. If that's not commitment, just come here and show me.
I can't believe it. We've gone full circle. It's so amazing. Five years have gone way too fast. And the scenes, the visuals skipping from Moira and Oliver to Oliver and William were just brilliant.
Now, that's how you do a cliffhanger! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! Did they just kill the whole supporting cast in a big ass explosion? They are probably taking refuge in ARGUS.
AMAZING! I love a good puzzle. I always have although in my own way. But let's talk about it all. Was it me or everything was pretty solid? Even Reade was great and I don't like him so much. I loved that his with Zapata after they watch the tape. And the fact that Zapata was arrested at the end because she tempered with the evidence makes me think that Reade is going to do something at the end and confess the crime to save her.
That hacker was absolutely brilliant. I laughed all the way. Her "Find your partner" quiz was so funny and so we're her little jokes. The only thing I didn't quite buy was the fact that she and her sister were willing to deliver the files blindly to whoever completed the puzzles. I've got to say it, the beginning of the episode was great. The guys trying to catch that reptilian guy (love it Patterson) and that guy being killed by another guy and then by another one was shocking, and all for a rubick's cube.
Since the beginning I knew Weller and Jane were going to end up together by the end of the episode but they were interrupted. Guess what's gonna happen next episode.
Shepherd is perfection. Her acting this episode was outstanding. That scene when she was chasing the van was amazing and then going alone to get what she came for was thrilling. She's an animal and is willing to do whatever it takes to get her revenge, which we still have no clue of. I guess it's something to do with nukes but I have only guesses.
Two things I really loved about tonight's episode is Patterson's impression of Weller. I had to pause it. it was too funny for me and it came as an unexpected yet pleasant surprise. And I loved seeing Kurt dressed all in red. When I heard the "wear red" I expected a red jumper or trousers, not they being completely in red. It was funny.
About the Truman Protocol. I guessed it had something to do with the President but man, all of them signed it and it's like super classified. Holy Molly. Can't wait to find out.
Isn't that adorable?" Damn right it is. I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW! Hands down! I'm speechless right now. That, my friends, was absolutely amazing. Heart and fun in equal measure. And thank you the CW for giving me that moment. What's better than only one Eobard? Exactly, the Legion of Eobards! so many angry helicopter noises How many Eobards are needed to grab the Spear of destiny? It dint make any sense to get all of them but I swear that was the most hype I've ever been watching the show. Zoom was taking notes in the back at how to create time remnants.
The intro reminded me a lot of Supernatural. As soon as I saw Stein there I just wanted him to sing Day-O over again. I laughed all the way, especially with the tiny wavering and Rip saying "the nearest open window". And Ray and his suit, a better love story than Twighlight. Ray punching Rip trying to hit Sara, lol. I loved Snart's priorities. He doesn't care whether they're screwed he wants to rob a damn bank. And Eobard always has this scene where he's explaining shit no one understands and his face is all "I'm surrounded by idiots, IDIOTS!" Most frustrated character on the show.
On the Legends' manual, chapter 11 paragraph 6: How to create a timequake. "Hello future me" "Hello past me" time quake happens Careful, dinosaurs might be on their way. P.S. Don't you ever try to go to Aruba.
When Rip mentioned "Time storm" I expected someone to look at him with a weird look and say "ok,now you're making stuff up" and Rip replying "it sounds good, doesn't it?"
Damien and Malcolm have the best bromance I've ever seen. They need to be on a spin off. The "almost Ra's al Ghul team".
One of my favourite scenes in the finale was Ray getting his heart ripped out. It was totally unexpected and caught me off guard. It was so wild and brutal. My jaw totally dropped when it happened. The number of deaths was too damn high.
PART 2:
Ray was brilliant, as always. I swear he's like a teensy tiny puppy. I don't care how many times he screws up, I won't ever be mad at him. I just want to hug him. He's one of the most genuine characters in the Arrowverse. He's like a moral compass and I love it.
And now it's time for Stein's little MUSICAL MOMENT. It was gold. It had me rolling. I laughed until I lost my breath. Just seeing Victor Garber and Dominican Purcell singing Banana Boat Song is one of the best things ever done on TV. Mick's initial reaction and down-the-glasses-WTF-you're-doing look to Stein signing was just fantastic. I don't think no one in the history of ridicule has done something as ridiculous as that before. I just can't, I'm still lol, there're tears I my eyes. I swear that's my new ringtone.
That ending credit scene caught me off guard. That was some of the best bullshit I've ever seen in my whole life. I can't get over it. BEST END CREDITS EVER!
Jax faking a British accent is hilarious once you realize the actor is actually British. I lmao at that part.
This show is si damn good! I never thought Legends would become the best show in the Arrowverse, especially after season 1.
And Rip and Sara. Man, I really liked Sara as Captain but poor Rip, he's just trying to find his place. "You're a legend". They really sound like a sect. "We're a team of outcasts a d misfits. Join us and you'll be able to screw the timeline as hard s you want. Join us. Join time. Join the screens".
Man, I love this show. The Legends have just become my family and I love them. Hands down to one of the best episodes ever. Nonsense and fun all along. Buckle up!
Nice episode. It was all about sins. We all have sins and that's what we've got to live with. It's all about accepting and not letting them drown you.
Mama Prometheus lives in Barry's house where his mom was murdered, lol. She seems a strong woman, but her thought process is insane. I know a mother always protects her child but seriously? My son's angry because a vigilante killed his dad so he's entitled to kill as many people as he wants to until he gets better.
I love badass China White but Warner being the brains of the operation was more believable. And I loved Cupid needing to recycle her arrows. This show sometimes is intentionally funny.
When Susan Williams asked Ollie whether he was the Green Arrow and he suddenly answered "yes" I actually thought he was pulling a Barry Allen, but when he then said "NOT" I realized he was actually embodying Harry Wells. Kidding. That was funny af. Handling it like Oliver Queen "yeah, I handled it by telling her I was the Green Arrow as a joke". So funny. She has to be smart to put all the pieces together but really, her password is 1234 and you have a file entitled Oliver Queen? Lmao. My files are so cripted that I can't figure out where I put things.
Curtis' mask creeps me out, there's something about it. Maybe is the way he glues it up himself. Idk, but he's got my vote for the worse concealment of identity. His new jacket's cool, though. And how the hell does he braid his hair so quickly? Who does it? I need an answer. I love Wild Dog. I need to see more of him. When he was in the cemetery and said "disturbing souls at rest. This is how you get haunted", don't worry man, the Winchesters handle it. Thea's a savage. That comment about taking the garbage out was savage. Merlyn genes. She's Malcolm's daughter after all. I wanted Oliver to cold-blooded say "Thea, you have failed this family". And btw, why is Thea the only one to blame, it's not like Thea put a knife on Felicity's neck all the time.
Very good episode! I just have a few questions, but I'll leave them till the end. Roman is, by far, the best character of the show. I loved seeing him actually doing something instead of sitting in that cell. I reeealy loved when Patterson called Nas out. if someone is to kill Sheppard, I hope it's Patterson. I loved all the scenes with the biker gang. I love agents infiltrating dangerous gangs. it's like a trope that never gets old. And that biker stunt was lovely. I really love June's and Roman's relationship simply because it feels so strong. I just don't buy and don't like Reade's soap opera. We all know he and Zapata will end up together, although I wouldn't like that at all. And all the Allie's plot? They get her pregnant, now she moves on, Nas moves along with her personal life and suddenly, Weller is cool with it. Sounds really strange if you ask me.
Two episodes ago it was too obvious that Patterson was brought back to the FBI because they implanted a listening device in her ear when she was earjacked.
and at the end, Sheperd appears in Weller's yearbook. I get Weller recognized her voice when she said "enough, we're done", but didn't they at the FBI have a drawing of Shepherd and Roman? How come he didn't recognize her before? I hope it's because people have different types of memory recall and not a loophole. I wonder who was she yo Weller. We know she "protects" him because she needs him. Family, maybe? He was certainly being watched since he was a teenager. I guess it has something to do with the fishing in the lake. But let's see. Next week's episode looks amazing and very intense.
And camera man/woman, etc. are you having an earthquake? I guess it's for dramatic effect, but anyways, too shaky.
I can't wait for next week's episode! We'll finally know about Weller's connection to Shepherd and what does Taylor Shaw have to do with it all.
8.9/10. It’s nice to see Agents of Shield move past all the underwhelming Ghost Rider business and get down to some more Inhuman and Evil Robot business. I remember a time when the complaints were about the pacing of AoS’s season-long arcs, but now they just burn through plot like it’s going out of style (and given the show’s ratings, it they may be
But it’s nice to see the episode have not only some focus, but some clear stakes, character work, and even some visual inventiveness. The opening sequence of Aida examining her own wounds, replacing her clothes, looking in on May, was one of the more formally interesting bits of direction and editing on the show in a while. There was an artsy bent to it, and even the re-cocooning of Vijay at the end of the episode. It’s nice to see this show, which has often been a bit behind the curve in terms of its visuals and production values, get a little more adventurous.
We get two main stories here, that mildly intersect but which mostly work well as two independent tracks. The first is Daisy, Simmons, and Director Mace tracking down Senator Nadir to see if she’s holding her brother Vijay, a.k.a. the Inhuman that Simmons treated in the fall half-season, against his will. On the Shield side of things, I appreciated the tet-a-tet between Mace and Daisy, who are not at a level of trust yet, and have divergent views on several things, but have common ground as Inhumans trying to save one of their own. I like the pair’s dynamic, as its frosty but cautiously optimistic, or at least willing to go forward. And as I’ve mentioned in other write-ups, Daisy and Simmons make for a surprisingly great pair with their natural rapport.
On the Nadir family side, things weren’t as good. Neither the Senator nor Vijay showed off the acting chops necessary to pull off what the show was going for, and their dialogue included a lot of awkward exposition and backstory dumping. Still, the story the episode told with the two of them, about their mom dying in the Chitauri invasion in The Avengers, a fear that the Inhumans were an offshoot of that and an alien infection, and a promise that they wouldn’t allow one another to succumb to it, proved interesting in concept if not execution. I appreciate that they gave Senator Nadir an understandable if misguided motivation, and had her make hard choices.
That includes the fairly surprising move of her shooting her brother. Of course they wash it all away in the end, but it was still a legitimately shocking moment that doubled as both major plot point and character development. The fact that she’s working with The Watchdogs, replete with a mysterious “Superior” (Mack’s brother, who gets name dropped here?) still feels a bit unnecessary, but it does provide some easy mooks for Vijay to inadvertently demonstrate his new powers on.
In the other half of the episode, Aida goes rogue, attempting to steal the evil book from the first half of the season. As somebody who grew up on Star Trek: The Next Generation and loved the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, I’m a sucker for stories about robot becoming more human. The notion that the dark book had given Aida something approaching a soul, or at least allowed her to feel real feelings, to where she had a sense of self-preservation, a desire to have agency and self-control, and an intent to avoid pain and hardship, is endlessly interesting. And in the same way, I loved Fitz’s explanation that part of Aida acting out had to do with the fact that she had to deal with all of these emotions in one big hunk, rather than having years to develop and acclimate to them like regular humans do. There’s a lot of philosophically interesting stuff there that “Broken Promises” dips into.
That’s why it was so frustrating that it turns out Dr. Radcliffe was pulling the strings the whole time. I don’t mind them taking the story that direction – making Radcliffe a true bad guy and reaffirming his immortality-focused motivation – but wiping away the truth of all we saw from Aida in the episode was a lame story choice that almost instantly made the events of the episode have less force in hindsight.
Still, it did give us some other cool moments. I enjoyed Mack’s instant prejudice against robots as a character choice. It’s natural that someone would feel like that, and his annoyed “why would you think this would work out, stupid?” mentality was amusing. But even more fun was how that concern was expressed, with more fun back and forth with Yo-Yo and lots of references to old killer robot films. (The line about Terminator: Genysys was especially funny.) There was a lot of well-deployed self-reflexive humor in this one, like Daisy commenting that Simmons gets kidnapped all the time or Coulson noting that however many times he and May have been locked up together, this was unique since it was the first time it had been accomplished by a robot.
Speaking of which, the show continues to tease the May-Coulson romance (which is not to be confused with a May-December romance), with the wrinkle that May is a robot. I’m not crazy about this tack, since it seems poised to lead to a weird robot love triangle (with seeds of the same thing for Fitz/Simmons/Aida) that doesn’t feel likely to go anywhere good. But we’re still taking our first steps in this storyline, so I’m willing to see where it goes.
Overall, it was a superbly done episode of Agents of Shield. The visual flair and robot-fueled action led to some engaging and exciting moments; the humor and sort of self-aware Whedon-y asides were there in full force, and the story was focused and potent in a way that not all *AoS episodes are. As a kickoff to the new season, “Broken Promises” worked like gangbusters and portends good things for the back half of Season 4.
(Oh, and a weird aside, but Simmons's Southern accent made her sound like a weird Britney Spears impression.)
I was looking forward to this episode. Eobard Thawne has definitely been the best addition to the show. Every scene with him is fantastic. the best villain in the Arrowverse. I love that Malcolm finally fits somewhere. He's place is with the bad guys. Besides the I'm Malcolm Merlyn part, he should have added "I used to be Ras al ghul" while taking a mask off and breathing heavily. it was so obvious that he wasn't Stein, but the RF. as soon as I saw that thingy I almost had a heart attack because that thing kills. Ask the original Wells.
And Rip Hunter is back. As a director... of movies... and American...Most unexpected twist in the history of unexpected twists. RIP Rip's accent. Going full method seems like a plan. Goddammit Barry, what did you do? I've never liked his character, and I didn't miss him that much. I though he went to the Wild West but surprise surprise, he became American. I'm looking forward to seeing him with the team explaining his Vonnegut performance.
And seriously, how did Jax not notice it wasn't Stein? They're supposed to have a psychic connection. Ray's reaction when Jax said "Stein is about to kill Sara in the library" was exactly mine. And did Stein say "we need to run" from a speedster? Stein, that mini RF possession must have affected you on subatomic level. you used to be smart.
And was it me or did that Spear of Destiny thingy sound like some Constantine shit? Some days ago I read he could be a new addition to the show, even for a couple of episodes.
And Sara is such a hypocrite. Don't get me wrong, I love her character but she basically went with a "screw the timeline, I'm gonna save my friend" and last week she was lecturing Barry not to fuck the timeline. Sara should apologize to Barry asap.
I missed our slow talker Snart. Really missed that voice. I'm gonna try to read a whole script in his voice.
So, The Flash gave us a surprisingly happy ending. Arrow a fuck-you miserable ending. and Legends gave us a wtf Rip ending.
I've been looking forward to this, and it didn't disappoint. Kevin Smith should direct more episodes: cool and emotional.
"Oh my God, Julian is Dr Alchemy. What a surprise" said nobody, ever. I guess Malfoy never changes. That was the worse kept secret ever. Although I guess he's not doing it consciously or maybe someone's forcing his hand, or split personatity. I hope there's something else. I love the scene between Caitlin and Barry. It got me at the edge of my seat. I really love Barry and Cisco's brotherly relationship and I refuse to see them fighting like this. It breaks my heart to see the funny Cisco turned into a depressed character. And finally Barry came to his senses and admitted what we all shouted in last year's finale "why didn't I follow you inside the house?"
I loved badass Killer Frost scenes. And her powers are more impressive than her earth-2 doppelganger, like the cold breath. I laughed so loud when she kidnapped Julian only to have him Google some shit up. I get she did it because he saw her, but anyways, it was fun to watch. And Julian made Barry quit CSI, although I guess he will soon be hired again. Honestly, Barry did one of the things I've been looking forward for someone to do since the second episode: punch Julian right in the face. "This lab is your life", well Iris, we've seen Barry more time out of his lab than inside, so I guess that's not his life, although that's where it all started.
And wtf, every single speedster is now faster than Barry? he's got to be the slowest speedster alive. I'm still waiting for the hell of a pep talk Barry will eventually need to defeat Savitar. By the way, that first scene with Savitar dragging Barry around and taking him through the speedforce was awesome.
Now that Wally has powers I hope he stops whinning about everything. it annoys me, although I get his point. I liked his reaction, though. It made me laugh.
And now, let's get into the crossover. I can't be more exited for the superhero team-up!
Legion of Doom, here we come. I just love Reverse Flash, he's the best villain. Maybe it's because of the actor who is doing such a good job. I don't care whether he's suited or not,he's just amazing. Eobard Thawne should have a spin-off. Seriously, he'd just awesome. That ending scene, though. Flash is f*ed now and Arrow is double f*ed. I loved how Darhk was so confused with future technology and Eobard is just like, yo me it has been invented for centuries. Now, next stop, Malcolm Merlin. I can't wait to see some flashbacks of Eobard's childhood and the way in which he and Darhk met. At that beginning, very CSI Miami. I was looking forward to seeing Darhk taking off his glasses and the well-known Yeaaaaah starting to play. Sad. But then Edward appeared and I was cool with it.
And what about Sara, she's just awesome, such a badass. Everytime she sees Damian Darhk I feel like she goes full on "My name is Sara Lance. You killed my sister. Prepare to die".
I think that's what Eobard does in his free time. I mean, when he's not making Barry revive over and over again his mother's death. Although everything he does is aimed at hurting Barry, so I guess it's now when the two of them start fighting.
All in all, this show is very inconsistent. They can't change history after an episode where they changed history. They killed the shogun and nothing happened. They made Einstein say his wife contributed to his discovery and it's fine. And now they can't? I laughed so loud when Sara told Vixen what was she going to do when she found Rex's killer, kill him? Seriously Sara, what do you want to do everytime Darhk appears? Hug it out? And I also laughed when she said that the speedster was faster than the Flash. How could she possibly know it anyways?
