So, the flood came and gone and they were all spared. Well, except for Australian Kevin, that poor guy. But that wasn't the flood, so...
This dreamlike episode wasn't as fun as the others for me, though I guess the meaning was important as Kevin destroyed that world so that he can stop running away from the real one.
It was a bit funny that he got to kill Meg in such a heartless manner. The penis scanner as well, specially with the other Kevin peeking.
Fantastic dialogue and a near-perfect amount of humor (to soften the dire and sad stuff) combined to make a terrific episode here. I'm gonna miss this show during its hiatus, which is something that I haven't always been able to say with much sincerity.
I did like the switcheroo between HR and Iris. I wasn't expecting that. But it took HR at least 5 mins to die couldn't Barry take him to the hospital? I guess they secretly wanted him dead. Haha.
Kid Flash possibly protecting the city? I don't take Wally serious enough for that. I won't be watching season 4 unless they're bringing Barry back.
omg i couldn't help but tear up towards the end... so emotional seeing Barry's Mom come through the speed force..., everyone else was crying...i couldn't help it. Everything else was so spectacular and entertaining, up until that glorious moment when Barry stepped into Speed Force prison/happy place.... (p.s. I cried so hard when H.R. passed... He was my favourite version of Harrison Wells, A+ performance by Tom Cavanagh!)
What does this mean for season 4? Are we gonna get a new and different type of Barry Allen in the future? or iz Kid Flash and Jesse Quick gonna step up their game and become the next speedster pair! Bring on some more Kevin Smith directed episodes in Season 4!!!
Also possible new villian might be confirmed for season 4 its... what Savitar mentioned"the name DeVoe ...which could mean Clifford DeVoe/ The Thinker!
Here's what I think of the whole HR sacrifice theory: Only thing that I don't understand is, if HR swapped with Iris, how did he manage that since Savitar already kidnapped her?
How did he time warp and replaced himself with her without Savitar knowing it?
And how about the whole episode. Did you like the soundtrack of this episode. I sure did enjoy the music.
Snart was amazing in this episode. He truly was. The kissing scene with HR and his chick was very forced,i think. She looked as if she was kissing a concrete.
BTW, if someone knows this. How will Savitar turn into the black flash, who hunts down time remnants? Or am I way off?
Episodes that feature lots of Joe are almost always especially good episodes because the actor is just that good. Joe and Barry, Joe and Cisco, Joe and Barry and Cisco, Joe and Iris -- you name it. In many ways, the same holds true with HR, as well, if not quite to the same degree. All of which means that, with plenty of both, this was the best episode in recent memory. And it mostly makes up for the fact that they had to really shrink down that Savitar suit once they decided whom to put in it.
-BOOOOOOOM!!!!!
Me: -Thinking to wait the next season
-Fetal position
-Crying
All very emotive. Tears for both happiness And sadness. This is something not all shows can ver at all.
That escene by Dani...was fantastic. I love her character. And heartbreaking speech by Nomi...
that last scene seems like One of Lito's Movie. Lol. Fantastic anyway!!
Looks like the writers were reading fans' commets about Mon-El and decided to work on it. Although he didn't do much, as a boyfriend he made a progress, apparently things can work better now. Btw, the mother-in-law of Kara, just got me. I can't wait to see what is next.
A great season finale that definitely leaves you wanting more....now!
Riggs digs deeper into who killed his wife and why. The answers he gets though is a twist both he and us won't expect.
Very interesting way to end the season 2 of Legends. "it's 2017... in L.A. with... dinosaurs!", i am very fucking concerned/curious as to where season 3 is going to lead us...
Loved it (& rofl'd) when Mick grabbed the mini Waverider out of the air and said, "Look its a teeny weenie Englishman" :D
I also think Rip may return in season 3 depending the on direction and story arcs.
If any new faces were to come over from other shows in the Berlanti-verse, i think it should be,
John Constantine, Rory Regan/Ragman, Cisco Ramon/Vibe, J'onn J'onnz
and maybe hopefully hints and or clues to Blue Beetle, Doctor Fate, and Booster Gold... that would be amazing!!! (speculations)
Finally an episode that is Oliver/The "Arrow" centric in flashback, while Adrian is torturing Oliver in the present. Very intense episode. Evelyn/"Artemis" returns as well to add drama with everything Adrian has done to Oliver. I hope the writers keep it up.
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this, but it turned out to be very entertaining. The "Super friend" song is now stuck in my head :D
dont normally like musicals and is not my forte but this episode was better than i expected. the regulars coming here and giving ratings such as 1 or 2 is such a disgrace. yeah its fillerish , so what? the music wasn't the best but enjoyable nonetheless. great chemistry shown across all the characters. next week back to serious mode :)
This was a really good crossover. I like that it was only a one part thing with Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park and Taylor Wily guest starring.
Didn't know if I was happy or cringey when Lillian told Jeremiah he was the only Superman they need. Then lo and behold his Lois turns up at the end! Nice to see Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo joining the party.
Wrapping up an episode that covered quite a lot too. Alex went full rogue nation badass and we got some kick ass and cute Sanvers moments. Yet Kara somehow outgayed them both by carrying Lena bridal style!
cough http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BridalCarry cough
Genuinely thought they were gonna sent Alex to the other side of the universe for a mo there!
Aaaaaand Mon-El continues to be the most pointless character to grace our screens. Please Lois and Hercules, take him away!
i'm pretty sure wally could have minded the city by himself. it's really weird that jessie didn't come to personally save her dad, regardless of barry's flimsy reasoning against it. wally asking her to stay and her agreeing was even weirder, because doesn't she has an entire earth to protect? tbh i actually know the reasons for those ridiculous choices. because the show wanted to force on us another boring needless romance. the writing's been really weak this season.
Rip and Gideon???? Hope they actually explore that further.
Wow, I can't believe this was episode 13. This whole season has been amazing. Way better than season 1 with the whole "we're gonna take an entire season to defeat Vandal Savage" plot.
I'm loving single, lonely Ray. The whole Kendra shebang was forced because Ray is meant to be foreveralone.
I still think Sara and Amaya have more chemistry than Nate and Amaya.
What I don't really understand is why the hell they didn't go back in time just to lock themselves up and train. That's the way they could get the time they need. In that Julian's speed-improve over time graph, it's made pretty clear that Barry can't reach the speed he needs in the time he has by the rate he's improving. So just go back in time and train the time you need. It's not like 'Oh we can't go because there might be another flashpoint', i mean if they're locked up there shouldn't be any change in the timeline
Am I the only one thinking this plot twist had little sense?
I'm thinking there's a character we haven't seen in a while behind this tho... Which would be the least plo twisty plot twist ever. Like this shouldn't even be spoiler lol.
The circle closed, and although it had given clues, for that reason it does not cease to amaze the final scene
The whole courtroom thing seemed very forced and.. odd. Not sure what the rhyme or reason for it was.
Nice to see the Horsemen back but wearing the head of a motorcycle cop, felt straight out of Terminator 2. Like the T-1000 was after Crane.
I thought this was a great reboot. New scene of Washington, D.C., and new faces along with two familiar ones. If you look at the past 3 seasons, they were good but they beat it ingo the ground. This new season will provide some legs to keep the series going.
I was disappointed to see Abby leave. Prior to her departure though I was starting to have mixed feelings about the quality of the show. I was pleasantly surprised at the season premiere. I think the writers did a good job introducing the new characters and setting up the scenes for future story lines. I would like to give them a fair chance to build on this. Secretly wish Abby would return but nice job so far!
Definitely crushing on the General Lin Mei. Overwall, the story was interesting, visuals and action pretty good. Honestly I wished it was more drawn out so that I could enjoy the love tension a bit more but overall the pacing was great.
Maybe they'll finally kick Gracie out for good.
The Tortoise and The Hare
This was a real nice episode. I like that it wasn't completely about christmas, just enough. Also a very nice cliffhanger, even Barry doesn't know what's going to happen.
