Finally an episode that really matters. Great storyline and the ending was so epic.
If there is one thing I hate about this episode it's that I have to wait until next week for part two.
Absolutely stellar episode in terms of writing, directing, voice acting and the score was the icing on the cake. Many were speculating that Crosshair was acting on his own and they were right. Still you didn't really know all the time where he stood in the confrontation with Hunter. I'm not sure now but I have a gut feeling he's not going to survive the season as bringing him back into the Batch wouldn't work. Just as having him hunt them again in season two (which luckily got confirmed yesterday) wouldn't make sense.
The destruction of Tipoca City also works as the final reminder that the Empire has taken over. I think in season two we will then learn what happened to the hundreds of thousands of clones that are right now still there.
I like it but feels like we are on a sidetrack, I want to see more on what happen to all clones and the change in the galaxy
It was interesting that suddenly the storm troopers have 100% shooting accuracy as mando arrives at the base and the dudes chasing all get shot by storm troopers
Is it just me or does the Mandalorian's ship look like 'Serenity'? The ship from Firefly.
The end of this episode even ends the same way the film 'Serenity' finished.
So with these final four episodes we're actually getting the movie we deserve. Thank you and please don't have Rey pop up anywhere near this.
For a show that has such a low episode number and run time this seemed like a waste of time. But I will hold my judgement until later because maybe it will make sense in the big picture.
Visually this was again great. Going back to Tatooine, Mos Eisley and the Cantina can be seen either as an homage or fanservice depending on your point of view. I think they overdid it thought with that wannabe bounty hunter sitting in Han's spot. That whole character was a bit on the weak side.
i would die for baby yoda. he's too damn cute.
This one's more of a filler. A bit too convenient and predictable. I mean, you know what was going to happen. I really like that they adressed things like Mando eating. But is there a story with Omera? She's too good a shot to have been a farmer her whole life. Maybe she came there for sanctuary, too ? I wonder if that will be adressed later. Still, great production value and the battle at the end was really good.
Every time this show stops trying to be Bozo the Clown's Comedy Hour and focuses on Star Wars lore, it's actually worth watching.
I KNEW whiterose was a dude. The scene after the credits, guys....
Worst episode so far. Very disappointing after the great previous episode.
That was one of the most interesting cold opens I've seen in quite a while. And I'm pretty sure that Jesse's solution to the Saint problem isn't going to be a permanent one.
Excellent return. Welcome back, Rebels!
Great episode but fuck me that kid is annoying. Why did they give him SO much focus. Glad be got left behind for the next section. I can't stand bad child actors in prominant feature.
Was it Clay’s day off for that final fight scene between Hood and Procter? Dude is normally always lurking around in the background. Build up for the next episode looks great! Assault on precinct 13 comes to mind.
You have to admire some attention to details in this show. That was filmed around 2013 and yet at 00:13:44 in a shot inside a New-York street, in a minor scene meant as a flash back 15 years earlier, so before September 11 2001, they digitally inserted the twin towers : https://prnt.sc/vGtBocEr4ssf. It's 4 seconds, they could have gone without and probably no one would have noticed, but this is real professionalism there
It's a miracle that there was no sex in this episode.
I love women wearing a bra who really don't need'em.
Deacon should absolutely be dead. Why can't they kill off characters in this show? Stop doing that! It's dumb! Every show that keeps characters alive too long and keeps ressurecting them like this looks dumb! Though what they're doing with his character isn't that bad.
And the time jackets are cool but OP as hell.
Last couple episodes have been a little slow / not as impressive, just setting up the overall story. This one really got the show back on track though. Great that they are actually investing time into building up some of the side characters too (Deacon, Saddler, etc)
Episodes 5&6 weak, slow going, almost confusing...writers obviously ran out of steam...let's hope it picks up
I personally love this episode's plot. Also, CassiexCole is sooo good
The best fight scene i have seen in a actually T.V. show. Unbelievable.
Female manipulation 101. My thoughts are so confused right now.
I was hoping this show would follow the antics of baby Gandalf. Such a missed opportunity.
The final scene brought some of the seriousness back. And I liked the little talk between Echo and Omega. The rest was all action with little plot movement as we're pretty much back to where we were at the start of season two.
