That was one hell of an annoying episode. I thought Feras (or however his name is spelt) had some intelligence but he is just as dumb as the others in his alliance. Why vote Kelly off when he was always trying to go against Kirby's alliance? He now has Alex, they both have an idol, now Kelly is not on Kirby's side, so use that and take out Kirby, or someone else in her alliance who don't have idols before going to merge. Especially if you think that Kirby's alliance is actually targeting Kelly and not Feras or his alliance. I was practically screaming at my TV about how stupid they were being.
Stressed depressed lemon zest is an underrated gem.
Maria has to be one of the all-time most bitter jurors... very very bad look for her
Gottmik seems such a fake person, she's good, but I don't believe her for a second.
Megami went from annoying to icon! She really had a redemption in one episode.
Happy for the winner, she deserved it, from the first lip sync, but I wuld have been happy with the other winner too.
Maya named the queen of flips as she is the best lip sync-er ever existed, I never liked her, and she doesn't put anything of her in the song.
"And the Emmy for Best Actor in a Limited Series goes to..."
This is basically a show for children now. Nothing that happens on screen is believable in any way. Human motivation, action, speech...all disingenuous and fake. In nearly every scene I'm astounded by plot holes and impossible time/space jumps. It has no redeeming qualities and it is 100% the worst show on television.
I lost count of how many times groups of people with guns happened upon other groups of people with guns in this episode. The episode did feature the return of Daniel, which is a plus, except that a major plot point last season was that he was suffering from dementia, and now in this episode, he's just back as the leader of a group of parents, fresh as a daisy? The writers seemingly tried to explain away his miraculous recover from dementia by having him drink yerba mate for "focus." Seriously?? Call every neurologist in the the country! Fear the Walking Dead has come up with a simple cure for Alzheimer's! The big reveal about PADRE was super lame and underwhelming. Otherwise, the writing in this episode is dreadful and often nonsensical, and the acting is uninspired. At one point, Crane is really worried when his father leaves some binoculars behind. I mean, he's way more worried than anyone on planet earth should ever be about binoculars. So he runs off to find his father and give him the binoculars. His sister asks why he has to take the binoculars to his father, and he says, "Because how will he see what's coming without them?" Dreadful.
It's almost as if everyone involved knows this shit sucks, and they're just trying to get to the finish line at this point.
In the NBA there is something called a +/- radius, it shows how many points are scored verses given up when a player is in the game. If this applied to acting and Morgan had this, who by the way was my favorite character period around season 7 of TWD, then he'd easily be the worst rating imaginable. This character who was formally so amazing just bombs every scene he's in now with his bullshit passivness. He once pulled someone's guts out of him with his BARE HANDS, now he doesn't even have any. This episode was at least twice to three times as good as the opener, which doesn't say much, but does say this show is better the less it focuses on Morgan, which absolutely breaks my heart but couldn't be more obvious.
I think we were all ready to see Maya going, lasting 10 episodes out of pity. But Plasma didn't shine for real and as it's been said a lipsync for your life should count. At the same time they were the same splits (with slightly more passion), anyway, we will never get rid of her...
This challenge is always so cringy and unfunny.
Production must’ve been so sad when Trey was giving number 3… I know I was
This was a genius way to approach the marbles challenge.
Wait the fact that they successfully managed to trick them into pairing with people they like is crazy.
So far it feels like I've just been watching the same episode five times
Art Simone coming back for no reason and Anita Wigl'it being eliminated at the end officially pissed me off
the creators of this show are literally gay and we are 10 seasons in if gay ppl make u uncomfortable then stop watching lol
The show is also about a lot of deep stuff, human relations and loss, well acted, written and cinematographed
That pie scene especially where Sookie eats it, it was just silent scene but you could feel her pain
this episode could've been an email
Monica, you look fantastic and finally relaxed, but the performance was horrible. I'm sure she's a wonderful person, but she lacks under every aspect of a performer.
The tops two were fair, but I'm rooting for Jessica since the beginning, such a good rediscovery!
this is really a weak season... imagine this twist with the all stars two cast. it would be the best episode ever. i can't wait until this is over. hope all stars 9 is great.
We've been having top fours for years, what the point of a top two now?
This episode didn't make any sense.
Glad it's done. I won't be back for the 3rd season. I really think this stupid trope of mystery upon mystery, stringing viewers along without a proper end to the story or even season has to stop.
I mean, 2 seasons and all we know is: kick the music box and the new baddie that we never even get to see, dies. That's it. What was it? What about the other creatures, the worms, the kid, ...?
And now, without finishing one story, they set up Tabitha to start the 3rd season. No thank you, I already can't stand her and now to watch an entire 3rd season of filler episodes of her looking to get back to her family? Kill me now.
I didn't even mind that her daughter or the others were dying, good riddance I thought, since they were all annoying. I even cackled when she went out the window, but no, she has to be alive.
I think that's the problem here. Besides Kenny, Donna and Boyd, really everyone else can die off, I wouldn't care.
I'm really disappointed because it started so good.
Sorry everyone, rant over.
It's maddening when I think of how bad the second season has been. They just make up shit as they go along it seems and nothing ever gets answered. Not to mention the bad scripting, bad directing, bad acting, bad dialogues, bad everything. I will definitely not be coming back for a third season.
And one last thing, can someone tell me what the sheriff's son and his girlfriend have contributed to the development of the story? They take up a lot of screen time but what exactly is the purpose of their roles? Because it really doesn't make any difference with or without them as far as the story goes.
Another episode, another ton of mysteries, no answers, this show is going nowhere fast
Man, this episode was hard to bear. Like seriously, who let Jim and Kenny cook? Kenny has been annoying af since the first season tbh, and Jim was just getting better and now he is back to being an ass. Randall is also an asshole with no redeeming qualities. At least Jade was entertaining and had emotional moments. With all the changing seasons and stuff it seems like there is gonna be a huge deadly event soon, so I can't wait to watch some shit characters die. Also that Donna scene was weird. When has there been a miracle in the show so far? I would be very hesitant towards this, especially since Donna thinks they are being controlled and stuff. Overly optimistic.
6/10
I get sucked into watching these type of shows cause I love twilight zone type of stuff. The unfortunate thing is, what the Twilight Zone could do in 21 minutes, they will take at least 20 episodes to complete. It's already getting so watered down that the writers really have no idea how to end this. The other problem with these shows is that they may plan on doing a 3rd season ( please don't ), then they get cancelled when they see the reviews and we never get an answer. That's my prediction anyway.
I love the series, but I'm starting to get annoyed by the sheer amount of wildly random mysteries without any semblance of explanation or linkage.
There are also a bunch of inconsistencies throughout the series. Like Boyd who was on a discovery journey so it would make sense that he'd be minimally interested in knowing the old man's story, or what the f*ck he meant by the monsters are not the worst part of all this and then the music box.
It's starting to look like they're pulling a Lost here. Writing a bunch of random crazy sh*t, in the hope that someday they can find some good explanation for it, and we all know how that went.
Sure we get some clues, like the fact that Kristi's fiancee confirmed that the time actually matched her experience... but they're so minimal compared to everything piling up every episode that makes things just annoying.
