VIP2When you take all the stakes away (aka no eliminations, prizes they aren’t winning for themselves, etc.), there’s clearly no sense of urgency to learn your lip sync lyrics. I love seeing all the queens every week, but we lose an element of what makes the show compelling.
loading replies
@tvtrav3ler I thought the same thing, none of them new the lyrics, and they didn't even tried to hide it..
In other times, Ru would say that none of them won and that was it. The prize roll over next week and stuff. This was unacceptable.

VIP2I dunno… I’m feeling so conflicted after this episode…
Jimbo CLEARLY deserves to be in the finale, hands down. A finale without Jimbo, to me, is not one I’d enjoy watching.
But something feels very inauthentic about Kandy choosing Jessica to go home. If she REALLY wanted that title and prize, choosing Jimbo’s lipstick would have been a no-brainer.
I guess we’ll find out more behind Kandy’s decision next week… maybe she simply stood by her alliance… maybe she wants to beat the best competition… maybe she wants to avoid the internet rage for sending Jimbo home. Who knows.
I think about when Manila was voted off All Stars 4. The shock of it all. It was unfair and infuriating, but it felt real. I think that matters.
As much as I still love this show, it’s losing more and more of its pizazz. We don’t hear nearly enough from the judges anymore, and any critiques we do hear sound very watered down and sugary. I miss when they didn’t hold back.
All in all, I’m excited to see Jimbo take the crown.

@tvtrav3ler to be honest, I think she was mostly scared of the backlash online, because indeed, if you want to win you get rid of the frontrunner.

I love the series, but I'm starting to get annoyed by the sheer amount of wildly random mysteries without any semblance of explanation or linkage.
There are also a bunch of inconsistencies throughout the series. Like Boyd who was on a discovery journey so it would make sense that he'd be minimally interested in knowing the old man's story, or what the f*ck he meant by the monsters are not the worst part of all this and then the music box.
It's starting to look like they're pulling a Lost here. Writing a bunch of random crazy sh*t, in the hope that someday they can find some good explanation for it, and we all know how that went.
Sure we get some clues, like the fact that Kristi's fiancee confirmed that the time actually matched her experience... but they're so minimal compared to everything piling up every episode that makes things just annoying.loading replies
@ablon Yeah, it always bugs me in shows when a character comes across someone who clearly has answers, but they don't ask any questions. Then, inevitably, the one person with answers dies or is otherwise made inaccessible. How hard is it to throw out a quick, "Tell me everything you know"? It's lazy writing and makes the characters look stupid...

VIP2Yam Yam’s big personality came across, to me, as “showy” and forced. I was not enamored by it like everyone else. And I don’t believe he was as strategic as everybody perceived him to be. He clearly wanted Carolyn out for a while, but failed at convincing anyone else. So I’m not thrilled with the winner. (Although it beats last season.)
I was really rooting for Carolyn, but happy she reached the end. We, as an audience, were lucky to have watched her play. Such a unique and genuine contestant.

@tvwatcha3 yeah i wished he didnt win. He was the know it all, saying he knew exactly what everyone was thinking was just too much

VIP2I cannot wait to watch Mistress lose next week. Next-level arrogance and she clearly revels in bringing others down.
loading replies
@postbop2099 that is not the case. Mistress is gaslighting people, there is some art in being mean but still playful and this is clearly not the case.
I need Carolyn to go all the way to the finals my God I love her! Lol

@y2jin99 I can't believe someone else is watching Australian Survivor. I'm from the US. I love this season of Australian Survivor. It's the first one I've seen. I love King George and his spice girls. How good is it! I really enjoyed seeing the old chase each other around in the water challenge.
Shout by Corey
VIP2An amazing season ends with a bit of a whimper. Only because the three of them basically got by because of George. And Liz didn’t finally “decide” to get rid of him… it was a bit of a stretch for her to claim that… bc it was the only rational decision for everyone to make in that moment! Nobody was gonna vote for Gerry.
George’s gameplay is unmatched, by any Survivor player, ever. The fact that he made it THAT far is unfathomable, and worthy of endless praise. I began to get bored once he was voted out, because he was the only one truly worthy of the win.
Still, out of the three left, the right person did come out victorious. And it really was a fantastic season with a spectacular group of castaways!

@tvwatcha3 Yeah, that's what my wife and I were speculating. That George's question left him so crushed he just said "I have nothing to say" HAHAHA

@tvwatcha3 As the Aussies say - 100%
My only concern was that the jury would throw Matt votes just because he was a new dad and not look at it logically and unbiased that Liz was in fact the clear winner once George was gone.
The ONLY complaint I had about Liz's answers and closing words was that she never once mentioned that Gerry literally said he didn't even belong there and once it appeared he may have garnered a vote or two, he actually did WAY betetr than I thought he would, I thought she may have made a strategic error not mentioning it and bringing it all back to either Matt or her.
I am wondering what happened to Matt's final closing arguments though, my wife and I watched that part 3-4 times and never saw it, only Matt with his head lowered and looking completely defeated lol Was it aired in Australia and somehow we missed it here in Canada because it was somehow edited out of this torrent?

VIP2I admit that Loosey can be a bit intense and often on the edge of taking herself way too seriously, but I don’t disagree with her here. Mistress’ teacher look was basic, and Luxx’s was even worse. Honestly, both of them haven’t been overly impressive all season. I would feel slighted too.
Even despite a VERY lackluster lip sync, Loosey deserved to be in the finale. Ross’ shoe critique was quite a stretch. Talk about splitting hairs unnecessarily, when there were other obvious missteps for this challenge. All-in-all disappointing. I’m not surprised when viewers believe this show has a preset agenda.

@tvwatcha3 Also Ross saying Luxx did a great job on her partner's makeup when she looks terrible, the close up to her face didn't do any favor, as Sasha said she looks like one of the heads from easter island

VIP2Lux is a hateful bitch. And her drag is basic, continuing to forever rely on body.
Am I the only one who feels bad for Loosey? Yeah, she’s a bit intense… but this competition clearly means a lot to her. And isn’t that how it should be? That’s still important, right? Cut her some slack.
loading replies
@tvwatcha3 you're not the only one. Lux isn't the only hateful one - Mistress has been bullying her like crazy. It's really tired and lame tv. Just wish we could get back go the talent instead of this crap
It’s time for The Daytona Wind to drift far, far away. Not a great challenge at all. And what were those long awkward pauses about?
On a more positive note, Michelle Visage always speaks my soul. I continue to adore her. And yay for longer episodes on the way!

@tvwatcha3 it seemed like they were trying to pretend like it was a witty "the viewer is waiting for farts, and there aren't any" so isn't that funny, kind of thing. But it wasnt.
Tyra, seriously...
Wasn't a really good challenge, but at least was different for the seasons to come, I guess budget problems also lol.loading replies
@tvwatcha3 Ahaha, I didn't do many, but they should be without knowing the winner as I made them on the spot. But still avoid them to be sure lol, I would hate to spoil other things.

But most importantly, did you agree with the winner?

@tvwatcha3 I'm very sorry, and you are very right. I was on my rewatch and did'nt think of it :(((
I’m sorry, but as much as I love Loki, the character, and Hiddleston, I’m not fully entranced by the series. There’s a lot to like… but, in my opinion, there are major plot holes that keep me from being invested.
It’s okay for a story to be complicated, but this is next-level. Maybe I’m missing something, but… a question…
… if there is this ONE sacred timeline, how are there multiple Loki variants on it? Wouldn’t variants be across multiple timelines, each on their own? Just like “He Who Remains”… this version — the one Sylvie kills — exists on his timeline. In this same timeline, the one we’ve been watching for six episodes, there are several versions of Loki. That doesn’t make sense to me.
OR does the one sacred timeline consist of multiple universes? And each variant from those universes go to the one TVA? But, based on the ending of this episode, there are multiple TVAs, where it seems their timeline’s variants would go. So, again, why do we have a gazillion Lokis on ours. “He Who Remains” is separated from his variants who probably each exist on their own timeline. It’s just inconsistent and contradictory.
To sum it all up in a simpler question: Shouldn’t Loki only be meeting/seeing his other variants when the multiverse is unleashed?
My head hurts. And it shouldn’t. And that scene with “He Who Remains” went on WAY too long.

@tvwatcha3
Thank-you my thoughts exactly
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
My head hurts to after all that information dump jumble.
This episode was certainly worth doing but it should have happened ages back. It was a well composed origin story for Negan, even if the leap from losing his wife to the caricature he was when he first appeared as a proverbial mustache-twirling super villain is still a little bit of a stretch.
The character needed this episode a good couple of seasons back to give him that much needed depth, so it's odd the show waited until the 11th hour to do it. Still, it's certainly a positive entry after the pointless filler episode that was last week. This may not have moved the story forward that much but it definitely felt a necessary addition to the show.

@tvwatcha3 Thanks! That's kind of you to say :)
That may be the best television cliffhanger I’ve ever seen. My goodness.
Side note: I’m a bit confused about the undercover cop’s story. The whole morse code thing is leaving me scratching my head. And is he now a circle guy or a square guy? I’m a little lost there.
loading replies
@tvwatcha3 he switched to the square, and then to circle again after - I thought he was going to stay as the square to avoid suspicion, but as of this ep it seems he's switching between them as needed to access more of the place
@tvwatcha3 yeah, it was really nice. Stood out to me too.
WTF did I just watch???
Is there a (rational) reason Alicia isn’t killing the dead? Did I miss an entire episode somewhere?
Why would Victor decide to basically dance around the walker in the tear gas until he can’t see?
Why would Wes kill the dude for a manuscript AND THEN NOT TAKE THE MANUSCRIPT?
And, finally, why does all their deep, self-explorational banter ALWAYS SOUND LIKE THE SAME THING?
This show is becoming increasingly difficult to watch. I may be in the minority, but I don’t find Morgan interesting whatsoever. His cryptic dialogue is beyond tired. Same same same. There are ZERO compelling arcs driving the story forward. Nothing is happening.
Rant over.

@tvwatcha3 Yeah just stupid shit lol
Gotta comment after seeing so many haters complain about episodes diverting from the main arc. That’s what so amazing about a Star Wars SHOW. We get to have a little fun outside the bigger picture.
To me, these aren’t filler. These sporadic adventures-of-the-week episodes give us some breathing room to understand our characters a bit more and play around in such an epic sandbox on the small screen. The big story will continue — and we’ll appreciate it even more.
We’re oh-so-lucky to have this echelon of television in our lives. Absolutely stellar.
loading replies
@tvwatcha3 yeah it's so weird reading these comments, do people not get the idea of the show at all?
Wow... three major deaths in one episode. Crazy stuff.
Kudos to the casting department, yet again, with young Peter this time. It’s insane how I can instantly tell who these characters are based on the resemblance alone. Incredible!
loading replies
@tvwatcha3 Casting department is on point. I love how we don't get the name of a character until seasons later and yet we know exactly who they are. I started to think that everyone is really related to each other. On the young Peter stuff, I've got to say that I looked him up and it turns out that the actor playing young Peter is indeed old Peter's son.
Why does it feel like this season has very little to do with the first two?
loading replies
@tvwatcha3 funny, I was thinking the same. It seems they're complicating things and branching out characters and stories just for the sake of it. To the point where the first season feels like a different show.
Eleanor and Chidi STILL have ZERO chemistry — and I honestly think their relationship has been detrimental to the show.
loading replies
@tvwatcha3 It's like the writers KNOW they have no chemistry but somehow think forcing them on screen more and making them say "I love you" at every available moment will change that. It won't...
One of this series’ most memorable episodes.

I appreciate a quality review and all - good or bad - but, from my perspective, you really love to tear down a great series (ie. The Good Place), episode by episode by episode. Frankly, I’m always surprised you continue to watch. Maybe slow down on the Haterade and simply allow yourself to be entertained?
P.S. Sabrina is a super fun show. I’m excited to see where it goes. And Aunt Hilda is everything.
