Such a cool show, so nice, so romantic. Main character was quite hard to understand at first but after a few episodes you can't help but love all three of them. It's too heartfelt, I love :)
This is one of those sort of great shows that you sort of think they're just good, but when you think about it they're actually great. The cast is great, the plot is great. You never know what's gonna happen, I mean, never. The characters are amazing, compelling and relateable, from the three women to their daughters. It's hilarious in amazingly fresh ways. The acting makes the story 10x better and funnier and relateable. I specially love Christina Hendricks (Beth) and Retta (Ruby) for their amazing performance, by my ultimate crush has to be on Izzy Stannard (Sadie), what a GREAT young actor, holy cow. This show is just full of amazing surprises and I couldn't recommend it more
Do you what "far fetched cliche bullshit" means? No? Then watch this and you will
One of my favorite movies of the year, it really touched me from beginning to end. Don't think I've ever related to this many characters on one single movie before.
Would recommend tissues
I wish someone had warned me how overwhelmingly crushing this last episode is. So for you out there getting ready to watch this episode, BE AWARE. Find lots of tissues. Seriously, it's too strong, too impossible. I've never seen anything like this. They killed me. Seriously.
The title of the episode is "Jonesy?" Jonesy Question mark
The photo of Nancy (Maryl Streep's daughter) on the top of the page is taken from episode two of this season, not three. This episode is about the drug dealer.
Hated the last scene. Hate Eli Gold. Horrible acting, pathetic character.
I was so obsessed with this show a few months ago, and then it stopped. But now I'm back on it. omg. I'm so addicted ! hahah
I expected something like “The Post” and got nothing like it. For a film with such a serious subject I was amazed to see how much humor they decided to put into it, and it works.
Just watched it in the Première in Rio and it was amazing.
Unlike in Argentina, in Brazil the victims of the military dictatorship never got justice, quite the opposite, the military got out scot free, with streets named after them.
Gotta applaud the Argentinian people. The most badass on the planet.
It's really really pretty, gorgeous, beautiful, but the plot is so all over the place...
What a bad movie. Gosh. It's hard to even describe it.
The guy in the top comment has absolutely no taste. The movie has several nail biting scenes. it's a psychological thriller, not a space drama.
It presents, very discreetly, many philosophical dilemmas. Us not knowing exactly what Dr. McBride's goals only inticed my curiosity and anxiety. And the resolution felt very satisfying, as it comes down to something very realistic and that had been hinted along.
I feel like it could've leaned a little bit more into the philosophical questions, the dilemmas humanity may have to face, but my guess is they didn't wanna make too obvious, and let the viewer draw their own questions, which is a good direction.
All in all, great movie. Very realistic in every way, very intriguing, nail biting and beautiful. Unlike the other guy, I didn't find it very slow AT ALL, quite on the contrary, I was often checking the run time and thinking "omfg they're not gonna have enough time to finish everything! are they gonna end the movie without X doing Y? Are we not gonna see what happens?" But that was not the case. Everything was answered, everything had more than enough time to go down without it feelings rushed or anything being left out. I'm glad they tackled everything, unlike other movies where they'll intentionally leave something answered to give way to a sequel. This felt complete, it had closure and it was satisfying. Not the best movie of all time, not a must watch by any means, but a good flick, good nail biter that is never in your face, never TEDtalking you. 8.5/10
what a fucking waste of time and money
how do people like this shit? Even Incredible World of Gumball's miles better than this
oof, this episode is a MESS....
everyone is a killer, jesus
wow, i got emotional a lil bit at the end... soo intense. thank god they saved her
good GOD, Kat's cousin, Lily, looks JUST LIKE KAT. They look REMARKABLY alike. Crazy that they're not related IRL
I have only one thing to say about this movie and one thing only:
The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, he international implications that that has
jesus christ this episode... what a motherfucking ride
what a waste of my time, this movie should be called bullshit plot holes
wtf is this movie... seriously... no.
This movie is sooooo bad, it's offensive how bad it is
its better than you think
It's so funny how I can relate to both women in this movie. I feel like both of them have really real strong acceptable reasons why they are the way they are and why they act the way they act.
I can defend them both individually. When I saw the movie on my own, I had real strong feelings for Catherine, because she's misunderstood and people think she's crazy. When I saw it with my sister, she had the same feelings for Catherine, which made me feel like I had to stand up for Hope Davis' character: she's just trying to live her life and help Catherine the way she thinks it's best.
I do really feel like both of them are perfectly right to do what they do.
Great movie!
This might be my biggest movie disappointment of all time.
For a movie that started off so strong -- i mean the first few minutes are so good they could be a short movie all on their own -- the movie takes such an abrupt 180 turn into ridiculousness that you cannot possibly eye roll enough.
I could not recommend this movie less. It is so ridiculous it's infuriating. It's so absurdly not you think it's gonna be that you hate it more than if it was just a regular bad movie. It's just insane.
But to be fair, i do recommend you watch the first part, its really cool and charming, but stop it when Chris Evans goes to the farm. That's a great place to end and you can pretend it's a short. Where it really gets ridiculous is still a few scenes later but this is for sure the best moment to stop. It'll give you more of a closure feeling than if you continue through the farm scenes.
this movie..... gosh it is so bad.... gosh i cant even
