NO! Not Hemmer!! He was so cool.
While I still really love this show, this episode was less successful compared to the previous ones. As it leans more into the superhero aspect and away from the family story, I think it is drifting from what made it successful before.
Please let this have been a mini-series and be done with it. After watching this season, it is clear this show was not necessary. Please Disney, don’t make a season two.
A clever homage to the 1998 Gwyneth Paltrow film Sliding Doors.
Noel Fisher is super creepy in this episode.
The Niles bit in the elevator was brilliant.
With Leia running in each episode, I’m surprised they didn’t cast Tom Cruise for the role.
Please can this be the last of the cringy Leia foot chases? This one and most especially the one in the first episodes are horrible. I am not very impressed with this series so far.
What an excellent episode. This is what’s missing in Discovery and Picard: People being people and going about their lives — without the constant need for some universe ending calamity breathing down their necks. This episode was fun and funny and totally enjoyable.
Haha. Quit nodding at me!
Lorna is pretty darned awesome.
OMG the Mini, that was great.
The pacing of this episode was unbalanced.Way too slow for the first 2//3rds of episode.
Dear Frasier, Don’t feed the trolls.
What a complete waste of an hour and wow did that just kill the momentum of the last two mainline story episodes.
Kwan: I’ll see you again.
Soren: God, I hope not.
I’m with you Soren, I hope this wraps up the Kwan side story and we never see her again. The writers of Halo really messed up with this side story.
Started out strong, dragged on for a bit, had a great penultimate episode and then failed to stick the landing.
A long meandering and unfocused season. This should have never been ten episodes long and should have been much much shorter given the amount of filler episodes.
A decent ending to a long meandering season.
Preparing myself for the thud that will be the season finale.
The opening sequence with Niles was brilliant!
Finally a great episode. I really like where they are taking the show with what happened during this episode. The link between John and Makee is intriguing. And making this episode even better is the fact that there was no distraction from the Kwan side story, which I would be happy if they just dropped completely at this point to focus on the main storyline.
The weakest thing in this series continues to be Kwan Ha. The character is weak; the story is boring and uninspired; the actress is miscast and not very good; and it adds nothing to the show. Every time the show returned to Madrigal, the main storyline crawls to a halt — which us unfortunate because the main storyline is actually starting to get good. The action at the end of the episode was much better than the one in the pilot.
They have three more episodes to try to make something cohesive out of this season. As of this episode, they continue to meander about without anything solid.
Ugh, the Helen character is so aggravatingly arrogant and unlikable that I wish that Peter would have just given up on protecting her after she first declined.
This episode was not an episode that needed almost 60 minutes. The episode was unfocused, cutting between three storylines with one of them (Madrigal) that is totally uninteresting. I wish they would focus on John and Halsey’s story and drop the other two storylines. Kwan Ha and her story continues to be the weak spot of this series. The character and story are uninteresting, the character acts irrationally. The rest of Silver team was boring until one of them does something to become more interesting.
You know that one relative that comes over on holidays and just rambles aimlessly about random stuff for hours on end? That’s what this season of Picard feels like. There’s a lot of stuff happening, but it’s not really coherent. I am losing patience with this season.

The last title card was hilarious.
Hey look, it's The Rocketeer!
Outside of a fun homage to Star Trek IV, there's not much substance to this episode --or this season so far. Most of this episode was stuff to fill the minutes, just fluff and no substance.
