Ugh... another Musical Episode...
I thought they'd have looked at the ratings for last year's Musical Episode and realised it's not what the fans want.
Lots of skipping this week...
Ah yes, the old suck sunlight out plants trick.
The scene in the airplane was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen on tv. And what’s with all this adoption agency nonsense.
Never thought I'd see Lucifer and Ella strutting butt naked into a nudist resort, but first time for everything I guess.
Dan seriously needs to fuck off. All he's done so far this season is mop around and be an asshole to everyone. He needs to stop blaming Lucifer for Charlotte's death. And he's seriously mad that an unarmed police consultant (whose supernatural powers Dan isn't aware of) let an armed murderer and human trafficker go? Nah, son. Get out of here with this shit.
Maze just made me cry in this episode. Remember what she was like in the pilot? She's changed so much since then and I love it.
So Lucifer is back to embracing his devil side. Eve is a bad influence on him and I'm sure it's not gonna end well.
Very very few shows can pull of a "ripped from the headlines" episode without coming off as preachy. This episode of The Resident accomplished exactly what it set out to do: deliver a poignant and sobering message in a way that made the message deeply moving and food for thought. Well done. Also, please pass the tissues.
Father Kinley, what an asshole. I wonder what his plan is. If he wants to create conflict between Lucifer and Chloe, it must be for a reason.
I really like how conflicted Chloe is and how she keeps going back and forth between almost believing Lucifer is a monster and knowing deep down that he's not. I think it's all very in character. Also I want to punch myself for not immediately getting that there was a deeper meaning behind Chloe taking Trixie to Rome of all places when it was mentioned last episode. You know, Rome. The place where Vatican is. I feel stupid.
Also Linda is pregnant with an angel baby? Should be interesting.
People please realize that episode 25 and 26 where never meant to be in season 3 but in season 4 and since Fox cancelled Lucifer they were going to waist but Fox then decided to air them anyway as an olive branch towards the fans. They weren't supposed to be the next 2 episodes of season 4 but just episodes that would come in that season.
Most of this episode was a waste of time. They needed to cut the head games by half.
THE LAST SCENE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IVE EVER SEEN. I LOVE MAC SO FUCKING MUCH
i love my gay family
When this show premiered I thought it was the best show of the Arrowverse. Now, it's just meh. So many things have changed on the show that could have been the catalyst to it going downhill. Was it when Earth Prime Leonard died? Was it the dissolution of Firestorm? Was it when Ray put The Atom aside? The addition of Kid Flash? Was it the Jonah Hex episode? Was it the heavy inclusion of the Time Buerau? There are SO many more things. I will say that having Constantine on board is great but I think he needs his own show again because with the Legends he seems less Constantiney. All in all, I long for the crossover episodes with the ENTIRE Arrowverse. Now I'm stuck on hanging onto the DCU television shows....
i clearly am in love with maia mitchell, that dance scene was stunningly beautiful! wow
i really liked that first season of good trouble! speaking of beauty, this is one of the most aesthetic series i'm watching.
looking forward for season two
OK REAL TALK. It's getting irritating how everyone is always finding excuses for Owen's actions and behavior since his day one on the series. And I have been one of those people for such a long time, which is why I used to like that guy. But recently (few seasons ago actually) I've started to believe that maybe he's just not a good person underneath it all. And I no longer can stomach anyone who tries to blame his shit decision making and apathy towards others on his past. There. I said it.
Bailey: "Karev did something better than us..."
Webber: "...and he can never know!"
Just going from strength to strength, now. I especially appreciate the small (but I'm sure logistically very complicated) touch of letting the various scenes in the art gallery cross over with each other by having the cast members basically be background actors in whichever scene they weren't actively participating in. I just love that the creative team have been given such leeway to be visually and structurally adventurous with this show, especially given how basic The Fosters was in those respects (I don't mean "basic" as an insult, to be clear).
This show is getting better and better. The last 3 episodes have been amazing!
Parker's demon form is so cool!! I hope we can get to see more of that but I doubt we will.
What a dumb ending. really.
Yep, the ending sucks. It sucks in way to detract from the whole. I was pretty happy with the ending up until the epilogue. Then the writers snatched defeat from the jaws of victory an fucked everything up.
On a technical note I find it hard to believe that that the magical group meant to police magic were so easily undone. I always find it hard to believe when writers and show runners can't tell the difference between a interesting cliffhanger and a fuck you to their audience.
Never saw that happening but instantly new the other 'guy' was his niece.
Hard to believe there's anyone that didn't see that "twist" from a mile away. Except for the fact that she was an adult, and like Excess, also from the future, although there have been hints of that since about 4 episodes ago. Hopefully Thawne has something good up his sleeve to make this all go down better.
Barry's second speech wasn't bad, but of course he revealed his identity to Cicada. Over the years I've seen all kinds of memes that all make fun of Barry compulsively revealing his secret to every stranger he meets.
I enjoyed the Joe/Cecille bits. By contrast, the Nora/Iris stuff felt kinda hollow, esp Nora's idea of compiling that speech by looking at his other speeches.
Season six is getting a new showrunner-- after a rather lackluster season 4-5 I'm happy about that.
i would die for number five tbh the kid is a fantastic actor
"Oh. My. F**king. God." LOL
Somehow, I always found Zach entertaining. He's too damn dumb to not chuckle a bit whenever he's around. Rajesh's story, on the other hand, is getting quite tiresome. But I guess everything in this show that envolves relationships has been getting tiresome for quite some seasons. Heck, for me, that's the one thing that ruined this show.
Andy has got to be the dumbest and most gullible character on the show. Let's just hope he won't be able to ruin Lauren, as well.
And they keep breaking the group further apart! Fucking hell! That's what ruined this season, in the first place! We want them fighting the good fight together, not as a million different organised groups that dislike one another. What happened to "strength in unity"?
The show runners are clearly just spitballing, by now.
this is the best Arrow has been since season 2. i never expected it to be this good!
The chopped off finger scene was gorier than any CW hero show has been before.
That definitely felt like a pilot for a spin off of a new show.
