I've actually kind of enjoyed season 9 so far, bad a few hilarious moments, and the wearing was still decent
But Andy's character has been completely ruined, and I didn't even like him until season 9 when he got promoted to manager.
But season 9 just ruined it all, and now with less than 10 episodes left, they're trying to get a plot where Jim and Pam could possibly divorce and she might get with the frickin' sound guy we never knew existed, ffs.
I'm really hoping they can recover, and write out Brian.
Really could've done without the weird (and hopefully fake) Jack Black movie sub-plot since that goes nowhere, but the cold open is great, and Michael finally gets a small, long overdue sose of reality.
Pretty good overall. Would be a 10/10 without the weird movie.
I did not expect to see a coked up Ryan, but that was quite funny.

On the one hand, I'm disappointed that Data doesn't remember anything and wasn't able to go back & get a proper apology out of the blacksmith.... but on the other hand, I totally get why.
It's a good episode though. The ones featuring data always are (as far as I can remember, at least).
I don't think the dad guy died at the end, and kinda hope he didn't tbh. Especially since the kid is like, 12 tops.
But yeah, it's good. We get to see Data advance science on the planet by like a thousand years (hopefully they kept his research), and memory loss episodes are a decent enough setup to have characters behave differently.

I'd known she'd die from random reddit comments & such, but I didn't think it'd happen like this.
And although I didn't like her character (even moreso after the blackmail), that's a pretty brutal way to go out.
And Walter even feels a bit guilty about it too!
Man, this is one of the several times I'm sad at the status quo reset.
They could've made smart Homer less dickish and kept him around.
I would say that this is another skippable clipshow, but it's actually a nest satireisation if a typical behind-the-scenes thing.
But if you want an actual "behind the creation" thing, there's a ton of videos on YT & whatnot going over it.
I actually really like this episode, it gets to the main plot pretty fast, has some great jokes, and Becky going "oh I actually was trying to steal your family, I had a place to bury you and everything!" at the end was great - if a bit out of left field, but I doubt she'll ever re-appear so it's fine.
Having stuff leftover from Apu's wedding (which was like, half the season ago) is a bit odd, but maybe they aired it out of order by accident? (though that probably isn't the case)
Plus, Homer isn't as much of a dick like he has been as of late! (Though he should've told Marge about the breaks, but hey I predicted that's what would happen, so that's neat)
But overall, it's a very good pre-conclusion to the season.
A couple good meta jokes, and predicting trump being president was unexpectedly funny.
I also like how a couple of the elementary school kids worked at the white house with Lisa, was pretty funny.
I never thought the show would make me question Ned's dick, but this episode did.
Bitch has a third fucking leg, like goddamn.
Wholesome ending, and it's not bad overall. Marge's B-plot is pretty fun too.
This isn't canon. I refuse t believe it.
Love how Rex can't ever catch Homer, even as he walks past him at one point. Makes for some great jokes.
The entire episode is quite humourous, but I really wanna know how they built those pipes.
I kinda feel bad for Bob now. He actually didn't do anything this time 'round.

My highschool was so underfunded that they could barely pay their teachers. We had substitutes for most of each year.
Episode's also got some great jokes, but it's honestly saddening that the underfunding still applies 30 years later.

The rest of this isn't bad. We got a couple good jokes (the church's sign using Homer to fearmonger everyone else is exactly what churches do in my experience), god's appearance is great - especially the first time when he's like "now excuse me, I've got to appear on a tortilla in Mexico", etc.
We also now know that Flanders has super speed or a secret twin.
I like how they helped Herb recover, it's a nice bowtie on his story.
I do hope he comes back later though.
I do hope Homer chills tf out with the rivalry after this.
