Another skippable clip show.
I just hope they stop all the singing ever in the show. None of the VAs can sing (at least when doing the character's voices), so it ends up quite grating.
Not as critical of religion as it could've been, and the town is even dumber than usual.
But having it be a stunt for some company is exactly something america would do.
Plus Lisa isn't as annoying here, hell she's even relatable for once.
Not bad. I thought Lisa would use this episode to have an overly preachy message (true as it may be, it's even more annoying when shoved down your throat), but thankfully she didn't.
Not really any jokes though....but it'd not bad otherwise. Decent season finale.
The last one is..... very bad, but the other 2 are decent.
Still a filler episode though, and I'm convinced that Troy McClure is an extradimensional god at this point. He always hosts these things.
Can't believe Lisa tore up a check for $12 million ffs.
This is why I never liked her character.
There's more singing, and although legally distinct Mary Poppins can sing, the rest of the cast can't. Nor does it really fit the show.
So, I'd say to skip it.
Can't believe they ended on a cliffhanger like that.
Pretty good otherwise though.
Very odd. Nelson has always just been the "haha" kid with some vague familial issues, and Lisa really isn't the type to do this.
I guess the writers just didn't have anything else planned or something. I'd say to just skip it.
Not a fan of any time the show tries to do a musical number, but this was very funny otherwise.
I feel like they kinda just tossed in a bunch of bands and random old-ness then called it an episode.
Not really funny or anything, it just kinda exists.
I guess the writers ran out of juice after the hellfish episode.
Leans way too much into the "america's the most bestest!1!1" fallacy, but it's ok otherwise.
Very funny, and is the source of a few clips I've heard but never knew what they were from.
Cool concept, but not really entertaining to watch in modern times when you've got YouTube essays covering the same thing.
I'm sure it was revolutionary at the time though.
Quite skippable I'd say.
Lisa is just kind of annoying overall, and she becomes ever more irritating here.
Kind of sad this didn't learn into the souls not existing like Bart had.
Ah well.
Already knew it was Maggie beforehand, but it's still pretty funny that it's her.
I think this is the first time we actually get to see Shelbyville, and it's pretty cool.
Not bad. Murphy's ok, and the cloud but at the end was funny.
But, it is an average Lisa episode - and she's not that great at carrying an episode.
You can read the summary and get basically the same experience out of this one imo.
I'd say it's pretty skippable.
There's like, 2 quotable lines - but it's fairly forgettable otherwise.
I dunno, just doesn't vibe with me. I ended up skipping it halfway through.
Wholesome as heck.
Especially since this all started and ended with the question of why there's no pictures of Maggie in the photo album.
Quite insane, and the fact that none of it ever appears again (or before this) makes it even more insane.
Though I suppose it works better since they're a secret society after all.
Well the kids' UFO side plot never really gets resolved, but this is good otherwise.
We get some nice character development on Abe and Homer's relationship, as well as finding out a bit more about the family history.
Pretty good overall, gonna say like 8.5/10.
Kinda feel like they could do a scan on everyone or something....
This is actually the first episode (not sure why it's out of order on CineTrak), and I think it's a pretty good start.
Not a fan of Tony's voice, but otherwise it's pretty good.
The animation is a bit rough, bit the story & characters are quite good so far.
I used to watch this as a kid, and I'm glad it still holds up (for the most part)
Pretty good origin story for Bradford. Plus we get to see young Della and Donald again.
Not into the whole wrestling spoof, but it is nice how they made Scrooge's throwaway line about this into an episode.
Well I'll be damned, Donald is a good singer without his...speech impediment, I guess? Whatever makes him non-understandable.
wait no daisy stop DON'T MAKE HIM SING NORMALLY AAUUGUGH!1!1
