In all of Folklore and fiction; there is no better friend than Samwise Gamgee !
6 films, and one ring to rule them all... These films never get old, indeed some beautiful work by Peter Jackson. A great picture, full on action packed, with a smashing cast!
So unrealistic, a bit of a cliche. Basically, it's so bad that you'll love it (and probably see it more than once, just like everyone else has). xD
I was a bit disappointed with this one. In general, I really like DC's animated movies/shows, but Justice League: War just doesn't have much substance. The plot begins immediately, characters begin coming into play without much introduction or development (I suppose on the assumption we already know who they are, which sometimes works), and the fighting and mayhem commences (and constitutes most of the movie). I found myself somewhat bored midway through, just waiting for the JL to eventually win the day.
Nothing like the original , but it was entertaining. the cast was interesting I have great respect for their individual body of work so seeing them in this remake was enjoyable. No one can ever replace Brenner, McQueen, Bronson and Co. #ShiftvW8
Totally awesome! Not for kids =)
Great storyline, adult cartoon, but the drawings are terrible, horrible traces and bizarre anatomy!
Everything is just so messed up. Awesome!
Great story line. I really enjoyed a version of Flash that wasn't so superficial and cracking jokes the whole time. And the Batman timeline twist totally caught me off guard. Nice touch.
The movie might be showing its age, or maybe I'm showing mine. The structure just felt off. The pacing was much too slow until the last quarter. There's something grating about Maverick's character—there's supposed to be, but I couldn't really find anything to like about him. And of course the romance is entirely unnecessary, but that's been a Hollywood problem since long before this movie (and still is).
This movie is a 5 that got a 6 because of Tom Hanks.
For once they got some of the details of the Arab World. Not the best story in my opinion but an interesting one.
FX are good, the actors are too but seriously the scenario is missing.. 404 - Scenario not found
Amazing! Everyone should see this! And I'm not just saying that because I'm an environmental hippie that likes to learn a bit more about nature, or because David Attenborough is a personal hero of mine, but the images are just so incredibly gorgeous!
It wasn't that funny - I was laughing at people laughing at it more than the actual movie. Some of the animation is amazing though and there were a couple of genuinely funny moments. Most of it was dull and predictable. I prefer Inside Out than this movie.
I was quite disappointed. Decent visuals but predictable story development, overly dramatic music, and nothing we haven't seen in Dead Space or Mass Effect. I like Sandra Bullock but if you want to watch a nice space movie, go and watch Moon instead.
Who would've thought that one of the best SciFi Action movies of the year would come from Netflix? Well, in the future we might consider that more and more if this is anything to go by. Sure, the movie had a few minor issues but overall it was a pretty well directed romp, decently acted & with even a semi believable/scientifically sound premise and some top-notch visuals. Certainly enjoyed this one and will keep my fingers crossed for more quality material like this from Netflix, they've had a good year IMO.
I can't see through all the tears. Completely blown away by Eddie Redmayne's performance.
Mel owns the movie and yeah you still don't want to cross a Mel Gibson character after all these years. The rest of the cast is less impressive though. Get over Mel having issues and give him more roles. Trump has issues and a big mouth and he's running for President. When Mel kicks ass as an actor still, he should be in more movies.
This movie will be enjoyed best by 13-16 year old boys. Its a children's movie.
Its 100m$ on CGI and 1000$ on script and story. You can guess the whole movie from the first 5 minutes, it has all the worst used up cliche's in the book.
The first movie made much more sense from the actions the characters took. Here, they're all idiots (humans and aliens).
If you choose to watch it, expect only normal level of GFX and nothing else. If you're looking for gripping storytale - move along sir, nothing to see here.
barely 5/10.
One of the best car shows since the beginning. Not like all the american where at a certain point all they do is shouting and yelling and trying to be cool.
Mike & Ed stay true to themself. They fix cars.
Good movie until the plot twist. After that everything changes... to worst.
The thing about this movie are the wonderful background landscapes. John Sturges loved widescreen formats, in an age when most cinemas still had 4:3 screens, as a norm. However, the cast feels lost against the backgrounds. Anyone familiar with retro-TV will recognize most of the supporting cast members as popular character actors that used to play antagonist roles in all the popular shows of the late 60's and 70's, including my favorite "heavy", Ron Soble (Wyatt Earp in Star Trek's "Spectre Of The Gun" and Queng-Dri in The Six Million Dollar Man's "The Coward"). This is nothing but a minor work in Sturges' and Eastwood's filmography, but it's well worth watching it.
Thank you for 600 episodes!
What a journey.
Like it for what it is. This isn't some happy go lucky shiny Marvel film with RDJ quipping his way through and appeasing the masses. This is classic DC darkness. It shows the side of both our heroes that needed to be aired. We finally saw the weight that Superman has to carry on his shoulders. Despite my initial reservations, Affleck did a fantastic job in this role and Gadot's Wonder Woman was also a pleasure to watch. She wasn't the wispy sex symbol I feared but instead a true force to be reckoned with including a hint of layers yet to be revealed.
Cannot wait for the directors cut.
Well I just fkng love this show !!
Just 25 minutes in and I think Westworld could be the next Battlestar Galactica. It's more dark than the movie from the 70's. Just not sure why the engineers don't see all the crazy shit Ed Harris has been up to though. If they are always watching the robots.
Still, as a fan of the original movie, this show is pretty kick ass and I can't wait for more. The movie is pretty outdated and this show makes a great insanely awesome update. Even if all of it doesn't make complete sense so far.
Pure shite if your not currently Disney-age and lack all common sense.
The lead actress, why is she even in the movie?
No one really ever gets cold, that's truly fascinating!
This is the first film of the Pink Panther series. The story might be a bit slow sometimes but you won't forget the silly, funny and bumbling moments of the Inspector Jacques Clouseau. He is trying to ensure the safety of a diamond called The Pink Panther and his wife is on the team of the thief who wants to steal it.
It's a good comedy but I thought it would be more funnier than it actually was probably because Peter Sellers didn't appear that much in the film which is a shame. I hope that changes in the next three films because he was great!
I think it's better than the first one, at least my wish to see more of Inspector Jacques Clouseau was achieved and he provide us a lot of silly, funny and bumbling moments in the search for the Pink Panther that was stolen once again by the Phantom.
Peter Sellers delivered a great performance again!
I think David Niven was better as Phantom/Sir Charles Lytton in the first film than Christopher Plummer in this one. He was more charming, shifty and cool as a burglar should be.
The Goose Is Loose. If you're up for style over substance - ehr fucking everything... you'll have a great time. Otherwise, not so much.
