“Don’t trust anybody. Life is safer that way.”
I hate Joffrey with all my strength. But his scenes are always incredible, precisely because the script and the actor can easily evoke the feeling of revolt, frustration and disgust for the character’s attitudes.
“Anyone can be killed.”
Arya and Tywin are two complex and very interesting characters.
Arya was so smart, she thought fast to save Gendry from certain death. They were also lucky that the poor boy had Gendry's helmet at the time he was murdered.
I'm sorry for Sansa. The things she needs to hear and say to stay alive. I wanted to protect you. Now that Shae will be part of her life, I hope she will serve as a distraction, at least.
Theon was in conflict and chose to betray Robb to regain his father's trust. On the one hand I understand his decision, but at the same time I hate him for it.
Cersei: You’re funny. You’ve always been funny, but none of your jokes will match the first one, will they? Do you remember, back when you ripped my mother open on your way out of her and she bled to death?
Tyrion: She was my mother too.
Cersei: Mother gone, for the sake of you. There’s no bigger joke in the world than that.
It’s not like we don’t already know, but Cersei can be cruel in so many ways. She knows how to use words like swords.
Joffrey and Cersei are the same. But it was so satisfying to see her slapping him in the face. And he is so sadistic that even his own mother was afraid of being killed. He had babies killed in King's Landing. BABIES. Poor Sansa having to live among these venomous snakes.
I wish Sansa had pushed Joffrey to his death. It’s what he deserved. He gave her false hope only to then take her father’s head off, he still forced her to look. I hate him SO much.
The dragons’ birth is another emblematic event for the series and it was a wonderful scene to end this incredible season.
The most emblematic episode so far. To kill the main character in the first season, in such a brutal and unexpected way, is a boldness that is not seen on TV regularly. I congratulate the writers, director and editor of the episode, especially the last scene. Brillant.
Joffrey Baratheon, spoiled child, I hate you with all my strength.
Tell Lord Tywin, winter is coming for him. Twenty thousand northerners marching south to find out if he really does shit gold.
“When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is in the middle ground.”
Baelish, you bastard. I wanted to say that trusting this fucker was Ned Stark’s only mistake, but it wasn’t. In the end, Ned’s morality was one of his biggest enemies.
There is only one god and his name is Death, and there is only one thing we say to Death: not today.
Sam: I'm not going to get any better, you know.
Jon: Well, you can't get any worse.
Loved this moment!
Viserys is so selfish. He's lucky that Daenerys has affection for him, otherwise...
All men are made of water, do you know this? If you pierce them, the water leaks out and they die.
There's great honor in serving the Night's Watch. The Starks have manned the Wall for thousands of years, and you are a Stark. You may not have my name, but you have my blood.
Let me give you some advice, bastard. Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you.
Some stupid killer stalking some big-breasted girl who can't act who is always running up the stairs when she should be running out the front door. It's insulting.
Why do people die? To make life important. None of us know how long we’ve got. Which is why we have to make each day matter.
I'm just saying you only get one life. There's no God, no rules, no judgments, except for those you accept or create for yourself. And once it's over, it's over. Dreamless sleep forever and ever. So why not be happy while you're here. Really. Why not?
There is no death. Wasn't it a relief when you realized that?
You gotta try this! It's so fuckin' warm!
I wasn't supposed to put beef in the trifle.
Goodbye, Alex Karev.
And goodbye, Meredith Grey. I'm sorry, but I can't do it anymore.
Don’t worry, little brother. You’re my plus one.
Sexy. Perceptive. Strong. Beautiful. One of a kind.
Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, are given a chance to climb. They refuse, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
I don't like the time jump, but still I think this episode is very sad. When they start playing "A Bad Dream" and Ryan finds his photos with Marissa, it's a very emotional moment and I just can't stop crying.
I'm a big fan of this show. But killing Marissa off wasn't a good decision. She was special, misunderstood and wronged by the viewers. And she didn't deserve to die. I'm never going to get over this.
I don't understand how the actors were able to dictate the dialogues of this film. Because they are, in majority, just terrible. I honestly feel bad for them. Viola David, Will Smith and Margot Robbie deserved more than this shit.
Like everyone else, I was kind of hoping Max's dad would show up, even at the last second, when the guys weren't there. However: "we don't abandon anyone" So in a way, it was even better so – and if you think about it, she was abandoned again, since the Guy didn't show up in the cafeteria. It would be nice to meet him, really. But anyway ...
BTW: how cute was Max referring to the Earl as her "real father"? THAT WAS SO WONDERFUL!!!
Throughout this first part of the documentary, the producers emphasized O.J. Simpson's words about himself: "I'm not black. I'm O.J." Always willing and determined to distance himself from his race. What we understand is that, even with his skin tone, O.J. liked to see himself as a white person.
This makes it quite curious, taking into account the future events and the trial that defined his life (and we all know very well the reason behind the verdict, but we will get there).
I don't know if it's because the show has become too predictable, or if it's because I've watched many episodes and seem to "get" a few things before it even happens. This car explosion + Sekou's death must set the season and brings an interesting twist, but I wasn't the least bit surprised. I already knew that some twist was going to happen before they showed the location where Sekou worked, making the connection with the guy that Quinn is having suspicions on (to give you an idea, I swear I waited a headshot at Sekou at the scene that his mother goes to the room with the coffee, since the camera emphasized in the window: he was exposed there).
But look, I truly feel sorry for him. Sekou annoyed me in this episode by posting the video even with Carrie's request, but he didn't deserved to die, so young... I can see the amount of problems his death will bring, especially for Carrie.
And Quinn... Oh Quinn! The man was a suspect and Quinn had every right to investigate. I hope he makes the connection quickly, I hope he shows the photos to Carrie so she can see that the spot where the neighbor was, is the same where Sekou was working.
