I feel as though I need to buy the world a Coke now.
"Armed Forces Day. Why would they put it in May? It's just sitting there in Memorial Day's shadow like a military Hanukkah."
"The city's under attack? It must be May."
"Hello, summer! Goodbye, pants! I will see you in September!"
Well it took almost the ENTIRE series but I finally care about Betty now. Knock 'em dead, Birdie, indeed.
I'm sorry but there is absolutely NO way that Courtney won that online returning fan favorite poll. I mean I didn't hate her like some people did, but there is no way she won over the other people that were on that list. Pretty sure they just picked her on their own to help move Spencer's storyline along. With all that being said, I love that Spencer finally got to "see" his mother and when he found out she was a "townie" I almost cried from laughing. Glad she left out the part about being a stripper though.
Oh and of course Elizabeth wouldn't tell everyone that Jake is actually Jason so she could have him all to herself. Weirdly I couldn't stand original Liason (I was all Liz and Lucky back in those days), but I actually like this Liason 2.0. Still I'd rather see Jason back with Sam where he belongs even if I like Sam and Patrick together.
That was such a soap opera ending which is absolutely perfect for this show. Season 2 cannot come soon enough! I don't know if I can wait all summer for it's return, but of course I have to.
In case you were wondering the four US state capitals NOT served by the interstate highway system are: Juneau, Alaska. Dover, Delaware. Jefferson City, Missouri. and Pierre, South Dakota.
Thank goodness Martin Sheen's character isn't married to Lily Tomlin's character and Jane Fonda's character isn't married to Sam Waterston's character because that would have made for some awkward The West Wing and The Newsroom re-watches.
Well that was a bummer of an ending. Way to end the season on a low note, TBBT!
If Beverly and Mary were the stars of the new version of The Odd Couple, I'd probably care about it more than I do.
I really don't know what to say about this episode except that I didn't laugh ONCE. Haaaaammmm gurl out!
Peggy roller skating while Roger plays the organ in an empty office has got to be one of the best visuals this show has ever done. Kudos!
Max: I had sex with a teenager! Who am I? Woody Allen? Roman Polanski?
+1 for Joan Collins' entrance and for her saying "F.M.L".
Frankie: What was so special about this Troy person? Did he own a rainbow? Was he the group's pharmacist?
I could watch an entire season of Rogelio shadowing Michael.
This was probably one of the best episodes this show has had in a LONG time. I'll even go out on a limb and say that it might be one of the best the show has ever done. The entire time I was on the edge of my seat and it completely freaked me out. It goes to prove you don't always need a ton of blood and gore to have a successful scary story. Cheers to MGG for another fantastic directing job!
"She sleeps on the couch. She's a coucher."
Mad Men? More like Mustache Men.
"I got treated better as a werewolf than I ever did as a black man. That's messed up."
I'm proficient in WordPerfect and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.
I'd love to see all of The Karate Kid play one day.
Poor Bonnie! I was really hoping she could resist the temptation, but the call was too strong. Now she's doctor shopping, so I hope she doesn't get caught and end up in the big house since Regina won't be there to be her sidekick. (Doubtful they'd put Bonnie in jail, but who knows with this show).
I love this show because it doesn't try to sugar coat things. Addiction is real and serious and people do stumble many, many times before they find their way, and temptation is always just one sip or pill away.
The email reading sequence was one of the best things that has ever happened on this show.
"My life results tripled the year I gave up hope and every game on my phone that had anything to do with farming."
Haha the narrator just copped to watching "The Affair".
As if I couldn't despise Petra anymore than I already did.
Well that was an unexpected ending, but I feel like there's more to what Nicole said to Maya than what meets the eye.
I better see more of "The Butcher and The Baker" or someone owes me a montage of sorrys.
