How can it be Ocean's if Ocean is not there. Good lineup of actresses though, although its disappointing rihanna was casted also into this.
The only really good thing about Ted1 was Mila Kunis. And she is not in this one. Not even all the famous faces and cameos can fix that.
The only really good thing about this movie is Mila Kunis (and the chemistry with Mark Wahlberg)... and ok the cameos here and there. But other then that... so-so. This type of humor is not my thing.
Where previous movies were either comedy, or just simply cool, this one tries to be serious and all that - it simply takes itself too serious. What the f was up with that execution? And how can everyone just forget Deckard Shaw killed that asian guy in cold blood before? Sorry but its all too much bullcrap for me. And of course the story is bs, action is impossible and over the top and and and... but where this was "fun" in previous movies, I just got more and more annoyed. They should have stopped at F&F 5. That was enough.
Maybe if you're American, you care about this part of history and perhaps it's interesting for you.... but for the average European this movie is boring and uninteresting.
I was totally not interested in this movie, but the TV was on and the remote just out of reach, so I didnt switch and... I started to get into the story and got more and more interested. The story grabbed me and I enjoyed the movie. In many ways this feels like a realistic view on how intelligence services operate and try to fight islamic extremists. A good role by Jessica Chastain.
I kinda loved the movie, except for the extremely obvious "lets copy all aspects from the previous movies", with daddy-complex issues, daddy dies, heroes who dont want to be heroes, unimportant people who are suddenly in front of the surpreme council and make a statement to address everyone to re-light their hope. blablalbla. Still: loved the movie.
Aspect that I absolutely did not like was the blatently killing off of all the characters. wtf was up with that.
I've always been a huge fan of the Dune universe. I've played the original Dune game on the pc, read the Frank Herbert books (all of them - not sure if I read the books first and then played the game or vice versa) and of course also - mother of all RTS games - Dune 2 and later Dune 2000.
Most of the movies and productions in this 'franchise' have been a bit disappointing so far; I did enjoy however the 2 low budget TV movies "Frank Herbert's Dune" (2000) and "Frank Herbert's Children of Dune" (2003).
I hope the newly announced Dune for next year will be really the first true big motion picture which will do justice to Frank Herbert's creation
I had very low expectations of this movie. Unjustified. It was not a bad movie. Out of all these recent God-myth-movies, this was one of the better ones for sure.
First Alice movie was great, enjoyable, funny, new... this one was a lot like being one extra couplet to a song which takes just a little bit too long. This movie should have not been made.
Disappointing. in 1 word: "poor".
"Charming", describes this whole movie in just 1 word. Great roles by DeNiro and Anne Hathaway.
Ridiculous, unrealistic, bad acting, etc etc....... and still very entertaining :)
The previous movies were quite good adaptions of the books, this one was.... definately a lot less good. Still an entertaining movie.
At times a totally retarded B-movie. Totally unrealistic, absurd and chaotic story. Obvious plot. Still.... entertaining.
+1 for Statham.
7 out 10.
Everything about this movie screams a sort of open job application for Statham to become the next Bond.
Story: superb. Acting: superb. Movie overal: average.
Reason for the overal rating is that so many is left untold. The Ranch is just randomly depicted, the whole sect stuff is completely undescribed and has no meaning for the story. Why was the kid taken there and adopted? Obviously mom and dad didnt want to loose him, so why take him there then?
And as for questions.... where is the start of the movie? Where is the end of this movie? Why did the story about mom end differently than about dad and Lucas?
I really enjoyed the middle part of the movie, but this story clearly misses a huge part at the start of the movie, where the characters should have gotten some form and some kind of motivation about why they do what they do.
Clearly the story is very interesting indeed and it's a great basis for a good story. But the movie failed in many ways. Really too bad...
Felt too much like a M. Night Shyamalan movie, on a low budget. And I dont mean that reference to Shamalamalam in a positive way.
Surprising movie; one of the surprises being that Carey is actually a more than capable actor. I didnt expect it upfront, but I enjoyed this movie.
Total rubbish. Better watch the Netflix series instead.
Really not that bad. Apart from the whole Zombie stuff quite a realistic view on what Pripyat looks like nowadays. Not a bad horror movie, albeit a bit predictable :)
For me this movie was always a matter of "Airwolf is better"; although its not really that bad.
I've never understood why this movie got to such a 'status'. Amazing list of actors; crap movie
One of the worst adaptions of a computergame ever made.
Seems to be a kids movie, except for all the explicit gore. A bit too obvious. And all-bullshit. Maybe if they would have not tried to leave an open ending for a sequel, then it would have been a bit faster and more enjoyable. The whole Even Walker-Rambo-character was so way out of place with his "and I chose you and I will kill all aliens because they dont believe in love" really killed it off entirely. But I knew already what was going on with the first look at Vosch. Too obvioooooooous.
Great 80s style action flick.
Maybe a lot of fun if you're an Afro-American. Part 1 was hilarious. This was just another movie of which we've seen 200+ before. 1 grumpy guy, 1 try-hard to get grumpy's appreciation. Police setting. Plot twist. Bla. Done. Just all-afro and a little Asian added into the mix. No, hardly worth the trouble. We finished watching it and it was good for a smile here and there, but that's it.
Weird movie. Way overrated. One of Richie's worst. Too much attempts at being a mix of Snatch and Pulp Fiction and not being very succesful at it.
I absolutely loved the old Death Race game on the intel 386DX computer I had in....... prehistoric times. So I was very happy to see Statham in a movie with this title. I enjoyed the movie overal, it's not bad.
Tedious. Boring. No more to say then just those 2 words, but the site requires me to write at least 5. So: Tedious. Boring.
How can there be 7 votes giving it 36% now in 2016, when the movie is due in 2017???
