In the first of a brand new series, this episode sees four strangers from East Oxfordshire battle it out. The first host is bubbly 23-year-old Charlotte, who hopes her 'happy' themed menu will put a smile on her guests' faces. Alongside Charlotte is 36-year-old straight-talking police detective Jane, 24-year-old quirky American student Adam, and 43-year-old salesman Peter, who is super confident his 'restaurant standard' food will bag him the prize. But as the week progresses sparks fly as Peter's brand of brash arrogance and Jane's no nonsense attitude create a tense atmosphere, building towards an explosive finale!

This new episode comes from north Somerset where first to host is Grandma Sue, who hopes to impress her guests with her simple home cooking, although one guest thinks burger and chips is a bit too basic for a dinner party. Golf manager Heidi is the second host of the week, and hopes her posh nosh along with her fancy house will bag her the prize. Next up is property manager Myles who thinks his movie night extravaganza will propel him into the top spot, but accidentally serving a prawn to Nick who has a seafood allergy doesn't do him any favours. Rapper Nick has it all to do on the last night - can he wow the guests enough with his fancy French cuisine?

Kicking off this brand new episode from Glasgow is hotel manager David who tries to woo his guests with his modern day Irish menu, served with a twist and a very special cabbage pesto. Day two and it's the turn of Katy, a history student with a love of all that is 1920s. All goes well until guest Adi doesn't see the funny side of a small joke about his age. Night three and it's the glamour loving Liz to host with a Scottish menu of Chicken Balmoral and the guests' first taste this week of haggis. Everyone is blown away by the bling but are they as impressed with the meal? Finishing the week it's Adi's turn to host and he hopes to win his guests over with a meal of Scottish venison and scallops. The tension that has been simmering all week comes to a head with the arrival of an unexpected guest.

This brand new episode comes from Manchester, where first host, data analyst Chris, hopes to impress his guests with his Mexican feast, completed by his own dish invention 'Nacho Pie'. But his guests aren't as pleased as he is with this carb-heavy meal. Fun loving security officer Regan is next to host with the second instalment of a Mexican themed night. But with burnt ribs and soggy nachos, French foodie Thomas is the first to pick the food apart. The two final hosts steer the competition to a battle between the French and the English as they host patriotic inspired nights. But with Thomas' fatty duck being spat out at the table and a few sneaky cheats in the kitchen by self-proclaimed 'hostess with the mostest' Wendy, the competition really hots up.

In Cardiff and its surrounds the first host is competitive 43-year-old Lianne who calls herself the 'Queen of cooking'. Second up is self-proclaimed large ego Ross who has an encounter with some very fishy scallops, followed by sales manager Grace, whose selling is put to the test. Lastly, businessman turned actor and musician Lee pulls out all the glitz and glam with a Rat Pack-themed evening which includes a full swing band in his living room. In a week filled with competitiveness, divas and musical surprises, who will be crowned winner?

The first host in Cambridgeshire 34-year-old science teacher Sam, who's confident his Canadian charm will pave his way to victory. Hot on his heels is 29-year-old brand manager Lisa, who hopes to sway her guests with a night of glamour held at her huge mansion. But have the group underestimated straight talking 26-year-old community radio producer Merlin? Or maybe 57-year-old theatre director Julia will scoop the prize with her deliberately controversial menu? Over a week that holds plenty of laughs - uncomfortable Jacuzzi dining, unlikely celebrity lookalikes and unusual games of hide and seek, there's simmering tension under the comedy, which leads to an explosive row on the final night. And just who will win the thousand pound prize?

First up in Wolverhampton is young at heart Philippa, who hopes a fun evening might distract her guests from some cooking mishaps. Telesales manager Curtis helps the atmosphere by breaking into song at the table. Curtis aims to up the class on the second night with some home cooked dishes, but straight-talking Shermayne can't hide her disgust at some of the courses and a few shocking comments raise eyebrows. Shermayne has a lot to prove as she takes the mantle and hopes her Jamaican food hits the spot, but is everyone ready to forgive and forget? Disco fan Carl hopes a last night filled with dance floor classics will bag him the grand - but he needs to win over Shermayne if he's going to be in with a shot.

South east London: First to host is glamorous hair stylist Karen, who is taking her guests back to the 1980s for her dinner party. But she comes under fire from no nonsense B&B owner Eve for her boring starter, and a hair makes its way into the food of wacky TV shopping channel presenter Howard. As the week progresses, Howard begins to rub final contestant Canadian Rob up the wrong way, creating some truly awkward moments and Eve never fails to let everyone know exactly what she thinks. In an episode of cutting culinary critique and intriguing international cuisine, friendships are made, hilarious secrets are revealed and outrageous outfits are de rigueur. But who will take home the £1000 prize?

Yoga-loving Daljit kicks off in this episode from the Midlands, showcasing his family-inspired Punjabi recipes. Fun-loving Nicola embraces the festival vibe on her night which almost everyone enjoys. Kirsty opts to showcase her Jamaican roots when she hosts, but Daljit is critical of her food and it's noted. David has kept everyone laughing all week, so on his night he does some stand-up. Yet again Daljit has plenty to say about the gastro pub inspired food and his constant critiquing comes to a head. It's a roller coaster ride with laughs, punches and put downs galore, all in a bid to win £1000. in the Midlands.

This episode comes from in and around Portsmouth. The first host, 55-year-old granny Maz, is floored when 36-year-old Chris, a car valet owner, tells her she looks older than her years. IT consultant and inventor Rob, 57, and Michael Jackson super-fan Sian, 27, jump to Maz's defence, but the damage is done. As the week progresses Maz gets her own back on Chris and Rob rubs everyone up the wrong way with some traditional thinking after a teary conversation about whether real men cry. Can Chris and Rob turn it around, and will Sian shock the others when she reveals just how much she loves the King of Pop? In an episode filled with tears and tantrums, who will take home the £1000 prize.

In Colchester, first host Vanessa is the owner of allegedly the most haunted house in the country, and she hopes not to spook her guests with her gruesome sounding rack of lamb. Night two sees city boy and foodie Michael try and impress with his mobile phone controlled lamb, but there must have been crossed lines as the lamb is raw. On night three basketball coach Maurice turns on the gastronomic charm with steak and chicken consommé served with a side order of poetry, but it's all too much for retired hairdresser Maureen, and the tears flow. The final night belongs to Maureen, but not even the best Deidre Barlow impression this side of Weatherfield can save her prawns served in an ashtray and the night that should have been all about the party, party, party has turned into a nightmare.

First to host in York is German-born Svenja who plans to broaden the minds of her guests with her German take on British food. But her first guest, fishery owner and straight-talking Yorkshireman Craig seems more interested in stealing the limelight. Night two is hosted by charming waiter Oli who pins his hopes on quality table manners and service, but is distracted by sultry Svenja. Convent events manager Nichola hosts night three and plans to bring a bit of sunshine to Yorkshire with her holiday themed menu but the best part of the night appears to be the piñata which Craig attacks with relish. It's left to Yorkshire livewire Craig to wrap up the week with a down to earth menu and spectacular fireworks show. After a week together there is a lot of love shared but will Craig be the main beneficiary and take home the grand?

In this brand new episode from west Oxfordshire, first to host is 31-year-old medical secretary Lynsey, who hopes her menu of 'mates' favourites' will win over some new friends this week. Joining her is 53-year-old straight talking accountant Shirley, and the pair hit it off from the moment they meet. Sadly neither turns out to be the biggest fans of 51-year-old American ex-pat Felix and as the week progresses, banter turns to a bust-up. It's left to 41-year- old health fanatic Simon to play peacekeeper. But who will walk away with the £1000?

In this brand new episode from Milton Keynes, first host, sales executive Becky, hopes to impress her guests with a menu which has cheese in every single course. But unfortunately her guests aren't as pleased as she is with this cheese heavy meal and the atmosphere turns a bit heated. Laid-back IT technical manager Chris is next to host and chooses an alpine theme to keep the guests cool. But sexton and canal boat owner Andy winds up the guests and irritates the girls with his banter. By night three, can sassy sales manager Kay handle him and keep the atmosphere light on her night? And after winding up everyone all week, can Andy do anything to charm them on the final night and win the grand?

First host in Bristol is snappy dresser and furniture salesman Richard, who hopes his presentation skills will wow his guests. But he wasn't expecting to meet 37-year old-teacher Anne, a straight-talking French woman who not only refuses to drink his wine, but also calls his job boring, much to the astonishment of 21-year-old paramedic Harriet and 46-year-old IT architect Steve. As the week progresses, Anne barks at Harriet and recites erotica, while Harriet's ditsy one-liners are a constant amusement for the table. The host on the final night has just one aim - to beat Richard after his restaurant quality meal on night one. In an episode of extreme highs and ravaging lows, expectations are crushed, hidden depths are revealed and criticisms are levelled. But who will take home the £1000 prize?

In Glasgow, first up is John, who hopes his Scottish themed night will wow his guests. Also joining is Leona, whose loud laugh doesn't go down too well with luxury lover Andrea. And how will non-Scottish contestant Peter fare when he attempts some traditional local food? Around the table there are some catty comments, and in the kitchen there's some curious cooking with lots of laughter.

In Cardiff, kicking off a week of positively international cuisine with a rainforest themed evening is comedian Dan. Joining him are fitness fan Jess, 53-year-old Julie, and cat lover Jason. Night two takes us to Germany as Julie offers her guests an evening of thoroughly Teutonic treats with Mutter's Zuppe, beef stew and dumplings, and a Willkommen cherry sorbet. Next up, Jess wows her guests with a Mexican Beach Sandcastle dessert. But her choice of entertainment threatens to undo all her hard work. And Jason finishes the week with a tour of Thailand.

In Cambridge, first host Tom hopes his simple but tasty menu will be enough to impress. Joining him is fresh food fiend Nicole, motor mouth Sam and retired hairdresser Philip, who sets the tone for the week. Each diner shares scandalous stories, fabulous food and even a spot of kick-boxing.

In Leicester, first host Darren hopes his 'ice-breaker' of a night will relax and wow his guests, but as the week progresses, the 'perfect host' ruffles some feathers. Differences of opinions between 27-year-old reigning Miss Rutland, Chloe, and 24-year-old waitress Tayeba make for some entertaining exchanges around the dinner table. Final night host Ross is uber confident he will win his guests over with his traditional Spanish menu.

In Northampton first host Russell hopes to win his guests over with camel meatballs. Also joining is Justyna, who is confident that her Polish food will wow her guests. On night three Mr T impersonator John reveals his celebrity lifestyle to his guests. It's Brenda's turn on the final night, and she tries to impress with her home cooked favourites with a Caribbean twist.

The second and third night sees two Caribbean influenced menus go head to head as PR man and DJ Aaron, goes up against MMA enthusiast Christine. Actor and B&B owner Robert looks on with bemusement as the youngsters bring out some questionable food and crazy entertainment but does he have a trick up his sleeve at the end of the week? From Christine's diva-like entrance to Robert's MC'ing skills, who will rule the roost and go home with the grand?

First to host in north Wiltshire is über-confident 40-year-old businessman Sani, who hopes his African-inspired cuisine will win over his guests. But 62-year-old party-loving pensioner Jane tries to steal the limelight, much to the astonishment of 38-year-old Sharon and 67-year-old celebrity photographer Stephen. Meanwhile Stephen keeps himself and the other guests amused with his quirky sense of humour and relentless flirting with Sharon. Jane's hoping to bring a bit of fun to the proceedings with her entertainment and 1970s style cuisine, while Sharon hopes her glamour themed night will deliver the wow factor and the points.

In Greater Manchester, salsa-loving grandma Kay is first to kick off and she's determined her menu of family favourites is going to bag her the grand. However, second host cosmetics manager Diane believes the secret to success is through love and she's planning on laying it on thickly with an Italian spread. As well as her fondness for all things Italian, Diane's dream bloke is Jason Statham - cue third competitor, plumbing supplies manager Paul. Diane and Paul hit it off - but in the wrong sort of way when Paul calls Diane a bimbo. Things don't get any better over the week and by Friday Diane is out for revenge. Paul's got an ally in the shape of 21-year-old student Ian, but even their friendship can't save Ian's dinner party when things don't quite go to plan.

Battling it out in Marbella on the Costa del Sol are expats 50-year-old club comic John, outspoken businesswoman Lisa, 50, front of house manager Michelle, 38, and 44-year-old estate agent and socialite Ross. John kicks off the week with an authentic Spanish slap up meal he's convinced will win him the cash. On the second night Lisa is desperate to impress with a menu she describes as simple and classy. Ross is left begging for forgiveness from the hostess when he makes the ultimate social faux pas, and a blunt knife causes a kitchen catastrophe. Michelle hosts night three and she is determined to educate her guests in the art of fine dining. But the group are less than impressed. Last to host is Ross and he has a mountain to climb to get his guests back on side. Things go from bad to worse when a chicken calamity causes a huge delay. The big question is who will walk away with the grand?.

First up in Shropshire is Yvonne, who hopes her first class dining experience will wow her guests. But she wasn't expecting to meet Natsai, a straight talking woman with a huge appetite, who refuses to eat her dessert, much to the astonishment of businessman Bill. Yvonne's attention-distracting handstands lighten the mood, but one of them lands her on her back in interior architecture student Olu's kitchen. Meanwhile Natsai, who feels she has gone hungry all week, serves up a mammoth meat-fest that she claims resembles the Lion King on a plate - much to the horror of her guests.

First to host in Swindon is comic book-loving fitness fanatic Claire, who hopes her traditional British grub and pole dancing entertainment will impress her guests. But entrepreneur Jason plans a feast of fine dining by serving one of the world's most expensive meats. Less than impressed with posh food and all things classy is straight-talking Chris. Last to host is Ava, a pescetarian who Chris struggles to relate to. As the week progresses, Chris can't stop talking and Claire attempts to eat fish for the first time in 20 years. Chris relies on packet food and his tribute band to try and impress his guests. After two nights of poor cooking Ava has one aim - to beat Jason's fancy food. But not everyone appreciates her spicy style. Who will take home the £1000 prize?

Andrea starts the week in Southampton with an oriental inspired menu for her guests; however Caroline finds the food unpalatable and asks for toast instead. On day two, Dave pulls out of the competition because he's feeling poorly, leaving host Caroline fearful she will be the only diner left with decorum and table manners. Caroline's French food is a hit with Charles, but not with Andrea when she realises there are snails on the menu. Charles hosts night three, and confesses that one of his Indian dishes was ordered in, prompting criticism. Last to host is Tom, who tries to showcase the best of British.

First up in Suffolk is Peter, who hopes to bag the money with a combination of simple grub and eccentric hosting. But his menu doesn't go down well with Lucie-Anne, who refuses to eat not only Peter's starter, but also the food of second host Bianca, a bubbly stay-at-home mum. Bianca shocks Lucie-Anne and Carlton with her collection of furs and taxidermied animals and takes deep offence to Lucie-Anne's behaviour on her night. As the week progresses,Carlton and Peter grow ever closer, Peter's jokes become increasingly risque and tension mounts between the two women, culminating in a messy showdown that stuns everyone.

Four ex-pats living on the Costa del Sol try host their way to the £1000 prize. Abba tribute band singer Michelle hopes to be the winner who takes it all. Her healthy meal wins over her guests but she wasn't expecting to meet Charles, a flamboyant bar owner who says it like it is, causing hilarity and offence in equal measure - much to the delight of self-confessed cougar Kate. Add super chilled-out DJ Ryan to the mix and the four is complete. Who will take home the £1000 prize?
