Sorry for uploading another mini-cover like this! O.O I just feel bad leaving the site without fresh stuff while I am working on the CD ^w^ sigh...and yt would not give me high quality even with the best settings no matter how many times I uploaded this T-T

Okay...I know this isn't the sort of genre I usually work in, but because of that it was even more fun!!!!
While experimenting with some new sound ideas with panning and reverb for one of my album songs, I decided to quickly put finishing touches on a small piano cover I had made of this gorgeous but highly creepy theme from the music box puzzle in Silent Hill 2.

I had my violin and frame drum handy in the studio, and the whole thing took me only an hour to fully record. If you are wondering, lol, I am plucking the strings of my violin and not using the bow to get that creepy pizzicato effect! ^^

Me singing! All voices and harp, drum and violin parts are performed by me on my own instruments. YAY~ First off, SO EXCITED to finally be able to upload this!~ This is a little dream of mine that really came true! To start this group and be able to upload this is so wonderful, and I'm so proud of all of them!! ABOUT RECORDING:

I used my violin (pizzicato), my frame drum and some keyboard synth for the vibraphone and bass notes. I also went a little crazy with vocal layering, it was very fun!
I did a lyric change in Verse 1, and went with 'garden of shadow' instead of 'garden of magic'. Not sure why, maybe at the time I liked it better.

This has become one of my most popular covers! It has been used in a multitude of videos here on youtube and elsewhere. It makes me very happy that people are enjoying my cover so much!

I arranged the song, "Serenade" from the anime Fruits Basket, for ukulele, piano and voice. I am singing all the voice parts and playing the instruments. I also whistled a bit in the chorus xD I am singing the official English lyrics which are very pretty! I know it's not a holiday song per se, but it does have that warm fuzzy-ness that you usually hear in one! Ahhh Anyone who knows me very well knows how much I love this manga/anime series. It's one of the best stories I've ever experienced cries This beautiful song plays in one of my favorite episodes. We decided to sing Silent Night/Stille Nacht as a bilingual project, with Anna singing the first verse in German, me singing in English for the second verse, and the last verse sung in German again!
