I won't be the only one in North America with the 115" TCL TV for long, but even worse than that is that HiSense has made a 110" TV that has double the brightness, and double the dimming zones. On the bright side maybe these means we get to have more videos?

Intel showered us the goods on probably the single thing I'm most excited about from CES 2024, and it's...Thunderbolt? Seriously, this is so cool. Not only that, but Wi-Fi 7 seems like it will actually be an increase that actually matters to regular people- as well as niche corner-case weridos like me lol

2024x09 Trying 9 "AI" Tech Products

  • 2024-01-14T23:00:00Z8m

AI was this year's buzzword at CES 2024 so I'm trying out some of the weirdest "ai" products: a monitor, a mouse, a bike, a...girlfriend. Sorry, Yvonne :|

2024x13 Buying A New Car Is Stupid

  • 2024-01-20T23:00:00Z8m

Do you really know if your CPU is performing the same as the ones we review? We don’t know. But we know that if we want to increase our testing capacity, we need to PARALLELIZE. But that means we need nearly identical test benches. And trying to make that happen sent us down a far deeper rabbit hole than we could have anticipated.

We have a TON of infrastructure and networking upgrades in the pipeline, but the first step was to both upgrade and correct some serious flaws in our networking. As is, a single failure could bring down our entire network for all three buildings. Today we fix that by building out a redundant high availability core switching setup with the help of Dell EMC's S5232F-ON 32 Port 100G switches, and a bunch of gear from InfiniteCables, Ubiquiti, and Hammond Manufacturing!

2024x30 The ALL LOGITECH Gaming Setup

  • 2024-02-15T23:00:00Z8m

Logitech makes a lot of computer peripherals. From keyboards for your mom, to keyboards for your gamer bros, if there is a category of product that lives on your d esk, Logitech probably has their hat in the ring. And after creating some iconic pieces of kit, like the Logitech G Pro Superlight, or the MX Master line-up of pro ducts, it's no wonder they're a top brand in a space crowded with competitors like Corsair, Razer, Cooler Master, and many more. But is it all good? We build a ful l gaming setup using only Logitech products to find out.

The XMP550 QD OLED mastering monitor from Flanders Scientific is here and it's incredible, but while twenty grand is less than the competition, it's still a LOT of money. Do studios really need them?

We were SHOCKED to spot high end gaming peripherals at the auto parts store, but things aren’t always what they seem. Mice, Keyboards, Headsets and Speakers. ALL RGB! These look like Razer but truthfully, you’d be k-razer to buy them from the Hardware and Auto store like we did. Except for one budget device that costs less than $10 that is actually pretty okay.

2024x37 The All China PC

  • 2024-02-28T23:00:00Z8m

Is buying a PS5 or Xbox really a better bang for your buck? Or, with a little creativity, can you build a gaming PC for the same price, and put shame to the Sony name?

Small Form Factor cases are pushing the boundaries of how much computing power can fit in a tiny chassis. From enclosures like the Formd T1, SSUPD Meshlicious, DanCase C4-SFX, and Fractal Terra, there is no shortage of small cases that can accommodate big power. But can they do it with just one wacky long fan? Probably not. The Meshless AIO SFF by Meshless Design claims a SINGLE crossflow fan (AKA tangential fan) can cool a 4090 and an i9-14900k. Join us as we build in this crazy little case.

Sony has made a lot of cool products over the last few decades, and while the Vidimagic FP-60 CRT projector might not be impressive today, it had a lot going for it back in 1984.

LTT has built a LOT of PCs over the years and – surprisingly – not all of them were jank messes of questionable watercooling and hair-brained GPU mounting techniques. But which ones were the “Best of the Best?” We asked you, the audience, to select a few, and y’all sure did deliver.

TRUST ME – you don’t need to water cool your next PC for a great gaming experience. But it might be too late for you, and we’re here to help you clean and maintain your loop to increase the longevity and performance of your pump, blocks and radiators. Whether it’s an AIO, a pre-blocked GPU or something totally custom – we have you covered in this video.

The LAN/Badminton Centre is coming along nicely! Check out the progress we’ve made and take a sneak peek at the size of the screen we are going to be using for our Console Gaming Corner! It’s gonna be sick!

2024x47 Your Internet is Too Fast

  • 2024-03-14T22:00:00Z8m

STOP! Before you rush out and throw even more of your hard-earned money at a faster internet connection, there’s a BUNCH of other pieces to the puzzle that you might need to think about first.

Handy tech is back to protect your batteries, tame Windows volume control, avoid dangerous USB ports, and cut down on the environmental impact of PC repair.

We’ve gone through many evolutions of our main video editing server Whonnock, but they’ve all shared a similar problem - there is only one of them. Today, we change that b y deploying a high availability storage cluster powered by Supermicro’s GrandTwin multi node servers and Weka, a distributed NVMe-first clustered file system. It’s fast… v ery, very fast.

2024x53 I Made a Wifi Cracking Van

  • 2024-03-23T22:00:00Z8m

Did you know that you can get the internet wirelessly now? Well, you can, and while it might be amazing, it comes with a certain level of risk, especially if you are using a simple password and happen to run afoul a person with a van full of RTX 4090s. Just how fast can a nefarious van dweller with a bottomless budget gain access to your precious shared network drive? The answer might shock you. Big shout out to Comino for letting us borrow this absolute leaf blower of a server, it's been so much fun to play with.

During a round of spring cleaning we found a heavy box with an expensive surprise, Optane!

NVIDIA's latest feature allows you to watch SDR content in HDR, like old movies and shows that never got remastered. But upmapping isn't always easy, so have they gotten it right? Come check out RTX Video HDR and see for yourself.

If you are tired for paying for Cloud Storage like Google Drive or ICloud? Then we found the NAS Device for you! This tiny computer is so small it can fit in your pocket and have over 30TB of SSD Storage. For under $100 you can have a powerful ARM based board to call youre own!

Computer repair is big business, and no one is bigger than Geek Squad. If you’re no IT expert and your PC’s sick, should you go to Best Buy, or should you look at a smaller fish?

Whether they’re an old employee or new, not EVERYONE at Linus Media Group has an incredible work or gaming setup at home. We can’t fix 'em all, but we can try to fix the worst one.

Ludwig is a popular streamer and Youtuber that is known for a lot of things, not least of which is his love of bidets and occasional playthroughs of video games like Minecraft. But what kind of shenanigans can we subject Bidet Bro to that he wouldn’t have already experienced in his Chess Boxing events or Mr Beast Island? How about a computer that makes Minecraft a punishing experience? I just hope he doesn’t hate us too much after this…
Here’s the source code for the ESP32 if you want to do something similar and have the knowhow: https://pastebin.com/gZXbA2fq

We’ve all seen ads for gaming PCs or hardware that just seem too wild to be real. “No Low ballers! I know what I got!” when all they’ve got is a pile of e-waste. We collected a bunch of ridiculous listings and watched our heroes slowly lose their minds…

We’ve done plenty of build guides before – But now we’re taking it to the next level. Not only will you know how to build a PC, you’ll know how to build ANY PC – This is the LAST guide you’ll ever need, now updated for 2024!

Linux has always been challenging with knowing how to get started. Which distro should you use? What about one with Hannah Montana? Well Today Linus investigates some of the weirdest Linux ISO’s we have come across! Warning, we probably dont pick your favorite Distro, so let us know which one we should look at next!

North Korea made a Wii clone console. North Korea has video games. I have so many questions. What are these consoles? Who made them? What games do they have? When compared to games from the rest of the world, are DPRK gamers getting titles that are Kim Jong Unique or are these games just same same but different? Do they have a game where you play as a plastic bag floating through the wind? So many questions!

2024x66 PC Gamer ranks EVERY Console

  • 2024-04-16T22:00:00Z8m

We are sick and tired of people asking Linus for a Free PC! That's why today we decided to create THE ULTIMATE PC SCAVENGER HUNT!!! Can you figure out the clues and find the PC?

2024x71 The Humble PC

2024x71 The Humble PC

  • 2024-04-24T22:00:00Z8m

All gaming computers have started looking the same. So boring, not humble, and r/battlestations has become saturated. NOT TODAY! Linus and Elijah bought a “Humble” computer case and decided to build a computer that even Kendrick Lamar would be proud of! There's water-cooling, Gold fittings, and of course humility.

You know – and probably HATE – Shein. They’ve built a reputation for Low Quality Clothes and Questionable business practices. But they’ve become a 3rd party marketplace, like Aliexpress, Temu or Wish – and they now sell COMPUTER PARTS. But don’t buy them – or anything else from Shein for that matter. Watch the video and find out why.
