When brilliant concept and brillant execution come together, they create something truly magical. A movie about emotions that made me feel all the emotions. One of Pixar's best, instructive for kids and fascinating for adults. There's something so nostalgic about it, the way we see Riley grow up and go through all these emotions and internal conflicts. The emotions constantly fighting, the core islands defining a personality, the stuff they did with the memory archive, imaginary friends, the ideas with the light bulbs... the mechanics of everything is just one of the best concepts ever and it's all fairly easy to understand but still profound. Loved the adventure with Joy and Sadness as they explore this fascinating world, the stakes are high if you care about Riley. Great animation, love the characters, nice score, emotional ending. Funny stuff during the credits, the dog part made me laugh.
At least they don’t have to build a new throne now that Bran is king.
what the hell. i thought it was just gonna be one of those episodes focused on family drama... WHAT THE HELL
At this point, I think Mr Murphy is trolling us & testing for how long we will still be watching
Netflix didn't disappoint again, another nonsense they filmed as always. I haven't seen anything good from Netflix yet. The only thing that was positive about this film was how it was shot. the rest about nothing and I think 4 points are a lot, but for trying to close both eyes, he probably deserves 4/10. Even if 2 hours of watching such nonsense so I would be bored to death!!!
I.F.T. - after watching the episode, I now know what this means. LOL.
I truly can't believe how good this show is. Every episode is better than the last so far. I mean I'm actually shocked. I wasn't expecting to like it at all.
Wow. This episode was insane. The filming of the last entire scene was perfect in itself.
Not a sequel, not a reboot, but a wonderful tribute to the franchise that we all fell in love with so many years ago.
Damn right, Skyker, you tell him. I'm so done with the shit Skyler gets, not only in the show but from the fans too, when everything she does she does for her family. I mean Walt can be so stupid because of his ego, thank god Skyler is there.
Man, the two Charles-centric episodes—the one in season two and this one—are just heartbreaking.
Nothing could have prepared me for episode 4. It is extremely dark and upsetting. That episode was hard to watch knowing that really happened to author in real life. Episode 4 left me emotionally drained. My brain needed a break.
I have to say up to this moment I was really frustrated with watching Donny making bad decisions with regards to the Martha situation, Donny’s insane lack of boundaries got on my nerves. But in this episode he finally admitted Martha was giving him the attention that he craved, as he said, “Martha saw me the way I wanted to be seen.”
One of the best episodes of x men. Period. Holy catfish it was good. Also did anyone notice APOCALPYSE in the opening. Holy catfish this episode was good.
I think this is the best episode of all xmen tas. Secondly I love how the music changes completely at the end of the episode. Little things like that make this show fire
Terrible.
Update to my original 2021 review with new 2022 content. Will Smith's slap was more thrilling than this movie!
overrated. the worst harry potter movie, poor screenplay, poor visual. the book is much way better.
Ironically, the episode I thought I wouldn't like based solely on the synopsis turned out to be the episode I liked the most so far. Really well done.
Michael Clarke Duncan: R.I.P. I just heard on the news that he died from complications from a heart attack he got 2 months ago.
This is without a doubt the best movie of his, no question about it. I might just watch this again soon in honor of his name.
Now the title makes so much sense... GOD DAMNIT!!!!
I liked the first Wrong Turn movie and only watched 1 of the many sequels and didn't like it. This movie could have been called something different because its kind of its own thing completely. If you can get through the first 20 minutes of the main characters beating the audience over the head with how progressive they all are, it actually turns out to be a pretty good movie. It makes you think the bad guys are just going to be cliché southern racists but then it quickly takes a turn into uncharted territory. The movie keeps you on your toes all the way up to the end credits and even after the credits start rolling. Definitely worth a watch.
This season sucked. The only redeeming part was seeing Kim shrivel up and die.
I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner.
How is it possible that family with 3 kids can do whatever they want and go around the world, but we barely see someone go to work?
putting this comment in when i’m only ten minutes in so who knows what will happen BUT maddie is so infuriating. she’s accidentally latched on to wilf and caught aaron in the crossfire for no good reason and then she thinks because people are saying she’s wrong that she’s right lol. i’m mad
edit after the mission: red group just sauntering along i’d have been furious if i was literally buried lol. nightmare
edit after the round table: actually furious at amanda… alyssa has been playing the game better than will the whole time and this is what amanda does…. furious
If Halloween was made as if it was a Scream movie. With even the same musical score. This Michael is the least intimidating as well.
Though I always found the movie entertaining. With Jamie Lee Curtis in good form.
Mulder gets stalked by John Barrett who he put in prison during his early years in the FBI. Deep Throat tells Mulder that Barrett was tested on in prison with an anti-aging experiment and was the only successful subject. Barrett stole the anti-aging experiment secrets and the government, including the CSM wants them.
Secondary characters in this episode: John Barrett, Deep Throat, CSM
That was actually surprisingly decent for a CW show. If they manage to keep the same production values and don't go crazy with the CW clitche's across the whole season they might have something here.
Everyone out here complaining about the ending. I’m just really upset my dude died his hair that hideous red color
OMG, I just cannot believe how much I've laughed during this episode! To everyone complaining that this was a comic episode, you've probably never watched The X-Files before. Go do your homework before talking non-sense over Trakt.
Episodes like these are what helped make The X-Files so unique.
As a LOTR fan for the past 20 or so years, this show definitely satisfies my cravings for more Middle Earth. Seeing Khazad-dûm in all its glory was fantastic. The orc fight was terrifying (albeit predictable), and the orc itself looked as menacing as ever (which makes me anticipate any big fight scenes coming and all the horror we'll get to see). The show gives nods to the Peter Jackson movies without overdoing it, through similarity in characters and world building, which I enjoy. It's definitely its own show but it respects its predecessor. Is the show perfect? Definitely not. But I'm certainly enjoying it so far, even with the imperfections.
Wasn’t thrilled with the ending… but this was a great show
