When brilliant concept and brillant execution come together, they create something truly magical. A movie about emotions that made me feel all the emotions. One of Pixar's best, instructive for kids and fascinating for adults. There's something so nostalgic about it, the way we see Riley grow up and go through all these emotions and internal conflicts. The emotions constantly fighting, the core islands defining a personality, the stuff they did with the memory archive, imaginary friends, the ideas with the light bulbs... the mechanics of everything is just one of the best concepts ever and it's all fairly easy to understand but still profound. Loved the adventure with Joy and Sadness as they explore this fascinating world, the stakes are high if you care about Riley. Great animation, love the characters, nice score, emotional ending. Funny stuff during the credits, the dog part made me laugh.
How is it possible that family with 3 kids can do whatever they want and go around the world, but we barely see someone go to work?
It was terrible on so many levels. Spiral is supposed to reinvent the franchise but I don't see any original idea in here. It rushes through a painfully predictable plot. Chris Rock is annoying as hell! He plays the worst detective ever, or he just can't act. The rest of the cast is weak. They don't have enough personality to make me care about. It also doesn't push the gore to its usual limits. The traps are very underwhelming and the torture sequences are too short. I don't even care if the victims will make it out alive or not. The twist is too painfully obvious, I literally saw it coming from miles away. The killer's trying to imitate Jigsaw voice is honestly laughable. He sounds so stupid and not even intimidating. It could've been enjoyable if there's no Saw thrown into the mix. This film clearly didn't meet the expectations.
OK the second part of this double feature was quite underwhelming in the end. I'd have preferred a whole season of the vampire storyline tbh. Pity.
This was a seriously forgettable episode. The antagonist concept is basically identified in the first few scenes of the episode and then nothing really happens of much significance, from an investigation point of view. The characters are paper-thin and then it ends with a cat attack scene worthy of a classic Hammer Horror movie.
Everyone out here complaining about the ending. I’m just really upset my dude died his hair that hideous red color
One of the best episodes of x men. Period. Holy catfish it was good. Also did anyone notice APOCALPYSE in the opening. Holy catfish this episode was good.
I think this is the best episode of all xmen tas. Secondly I love how the music changes completely at the end of the episode. Little things like that make this show fire
There is exactly one chance to redeem this season in my mind, and it's if Sam gets banished in the last episode. The Faithfuls absolutely do not deserve to win, but god do I not want that smug, smarmy jerk Sam to win either so I suppose I am rooting for Blake and Camile to screw him right at the end and take the money for themselves.
another wasted 40 minutes of my life. I wish I was the kind of person to leave shows half way.
Quite enjoyed this series/season but didn't like the ending one bit.
So Jack brought all the people back, but not Cas? Seriously? And why no "Carry On Wayward Son" in the final montage?
two episodes ago i lost interest in this show but after ep08 and ep09 i cant wait for the next episodes
definitely the best show i have ever watched.
Nothing could have prepared me for episode 4. It is extremely dark and upsetting. That episode was hard to watch knowing that really happened to author in real life. Episode 4 left me emotionally drained. My brain needed a break.
I have to say up to this moment I was really frustrated with watching Donny making bad decisions with regards to the Martha situation, Donny’s insane lack of boundaries got on my nerves. But in this episode he finally admitted Martha was giving him the attention that he craved, as he said, “Martha saw me the way I wanted to be seen.”
Sarah might be the single worst contestant I have ever seen on a reality strategy show. Thankfully Camille stopped up from the worst possible ending with an all-timer TV moment
Lucifer taking the time to tell everyone how much he appreciates them is definitely one of the highlights of the season. The scene with Maze was sooo emotional. I started sobbing midway through it and had to pause the episode because I couldn't stop. I love their relationship so much and I'm glad Lucifer acknowledged that he hasn't always treated her great. That was a real sign of growth from him. Also setting up a foundation in Ella's name? Who's chopping onions in here?
I hate how they keep sidelining Trixie. She's Chloe's daughter and Rory's sister, and even if she can't know the full truth, she should've been included in the family beach outing. But I also can't be completely mad when Lauren German really looked like an absolute angel in that scene and Deckerstar were at their softest. Just like Rory, I want to keep the mental image of the two of them curled up on the sand, just enjoying each other. Plus, Trixie got her absolutely heart-wrenching scene with Dan, so I suppose it all worked out. The fact that he needed that conversation to get into Heaven was so sweet.
The last episode of season 5 would've been a really lame series finale, so I really hope they came up with something better this time around. This was an all right premiere, but nothing special. Maze and Eve working through their issues with a little bit of nudging from Linda was nice and their engagement brought a huge smile to my face. They look so damn good together too! I love them. Chloe and Lucifer continue to be adorable. The case wasn't super interesting, but the setting was kinda fun. And I'm really curious who's sitting on the throne of Hell. Could it be one of Lucifer or Maze's siblings?
Really love that moment between Walter and Jane's father but it was so sad to see that Walter let Jane die.
Not bad but you'll be disappointed that Mulder and Scully don't even work together. She is just a surgeon who only cares about using stem cell research to save a sick boy.
While Mulder works with the F.B.I. on a Frankstein like case looking for a killer who is killing people for limbs. So yeah, the first movie is much better.
Piss off. This was not the ending the series or the characters deserved after everything.
The first half of this episode was good but then it kinda just felt a bit rushed and simplistic, somehow. Also, if this isn't the final ever episode what was with the finale-style montage? I can't see the point or purpose of an additional episode, unless it's perhaps to set up a spin-off series.
The other Scully makes an appearance!
That so called 'specialist' that was doing the chest compressions at the end there was useless; first of all - he was basically just doing push ups rather than actually, yknow, pumping the chest, secondly - he wasn't even TOUCHING the guys chest his hands were hovering half an inch over it.
Also why would any doctor let a random man in a suit yell at their patient for answers while he's coding? That looked like a sterile room, he shouldn't have been in there at all.
An alien craft crashes in Wisconsin. Mulder investigates on his own and gets caught. He meets a UFO chaser named Max Fenig. There's an invisible alien running around and the military is trying to catch it. A mothership picks up the alien (I think) and picks up Max (I think) because Max had been abducted before (I think). Mulder gets in trouble with the FBI but Deep Throat, who had told Mulder that the space ship had crashed in the first place, gets him out of the jam.
Secondary characters in this episode: Max Fenig, Deep Throat
At least they don’t have to build a new throne now that Bran is king.
Blake and Camille have got to be stupidest people I can think of, there is no way Sam was ever going to share. They could have easily voted him out instead of Sarah.
it took me so long to get through this episode because i was so pissed off at everyone i kept stopping. i’ll be furious if Will wins, and Meryl and Hannah don’t deserve it either they’ve played awfully. would be happy tbh if Kieran betrayed Will and won on his own. or somehow if Aaron won on his own
They said it has to be a boy because the other 2 traitors were girls... then they vote a girl off.
putting this comment in when i’m only ten minutes in so who knows what will happen BUT maddie is so infuriating. she’s accidentally latched on to wilf and caught aaron in the crossfire for no good reason and then she thinks because people are saying she’s wrong that she’s right lol. i’m mad
edit after the mission: red group just sauntering along i’d have been furious if i was literally buried lol. nightmare
edit after the round table: actually furious at amanda… alyssa has been playing the game better than will the whole time and this is what amanda does…. furious
The judge was more shocked by Ambrose's behavior than by Jamie's. Imagine being a detective and letting your psycho suspect bury you alive.
So disappointed in this season. I know it's a tv show, but this is getting way too far fetched. Jamie has killed two people, yet he is a free man. I'm hoping for a big twist in the finale that redeems the whole season.
