Holy fuck Game of Thrones. Went in with pretty high expectations and you still managed to amaze me.
As a LOTR fan for the past 20 or so years, this show definitely satisfies my cravings for more Middle Earth. Seeing Khazad-dûm in all its glory was fantastic. The orc fight was terrifying (albeit predictable), and the orc itself looked as menacing as ever (which makes me anticipate any big fight scenes coming and all the horror we'll get to see). The show gives nods to the Peter Jackson movies without overdoing it, through similarity in characters and world building, which I enjoy. It's definitely its own show but it respects its predecessor. Is the show perfect? Definitely not. But I'm certainly enjoying it so far, even with the imperfections.
Damn, I hate it when shows end. Maslany, the cast, the visual effects, the writing, and everything about this show have continued to amaze me all the way up to the final scenes; and for that, Orphan Black will be one to remember.
The final scene of the episode was definitely repugnant. Another rape? REALLY? [...]
holy.......................... this was me for 60 minutes: "wtf? WTF!"
I've never been so happy of someone's death.
The last 10 minutes of this episode is probably one of the most powerful endings I've ever seen! Gave me goosebumps!
Jesus, that graveyard scene. Jon Berthal was fantastic there.
The first four episodes were amazing.
The first 10 minutes was spectacular! No dialogue, just pure visual storytelling at it's finest. Also, Baby Yoda is too freaking cute.
Absolutely incredible what they were able to deliver from a technical perspective. I just wish it was a little brighter, it was so dark that it was hard to see everything. A ton of great moments.
That Baby Yoda is too damn cute!! OMG I laughed so hard when he pressed the button after being told not to touch anything.
HOLY FUCK. IT HAPPENED. IT FUCKING HAPPENED. I CAN'T CALM DOWN RIGHT NOW. JON FUCKING SNOW PEOPLE
Most of us knew he was gonna come back but to actually see it happen. OH MY.
Ramsey Vs John. One bastard to rule the North XD
The rest of the episode was great too but that ending just outshines the rest :P
Did not see Bolton getting killed there. Deserves it for what he did to Robb. Karma's a bitch.
I loved that scene with Ned stark, Benjin and his sister as kids. That was nice :D
Tyrion with those dragons was pretty cool too :D
The scene with Theon was sad :(
Overall great fucking episode. 5/5 . 10/10. Can't wait for next week
That was a lot of dick.
That ending though. That ending.....
BISEXUAL CLARKE GRIFFIN IS CANON
Nothing earth-shattering but still a solid setup and the CGI is top notch! Daemon shines every time he’s on screen. 8/10
Nice to see Timothy Olyphant in anything StarWars. I never realized I needed that. Then again Olyphant, should be in everything.
Awesome episode, one of the best.
Dude. The fucking cinematography man.
My favorite of the third season and definitely the most positive. The show's more than a basic " nanana tech is bad nanana kids these days on their phones" but i understand how people can, from reading the pitch, fear that it is just that; this episode shows a new palette of nuances [spoilers] just by being positive (still bittersweet) [/spoilers] and really adds to the show !
Honestly, Zendaya had already shown in previous episodes how good her acting is. However, this time it was the icing on the cake. Her portrayal of the manic and depressive states was phenomenal and elevated the (already stellar) writing. She needs to be nominated for all the awards, seriously.
The Punisher was fighting to find redemption while Jon Bernthal was fighting for an Emmy Award.
If Eddie killing himself erases RevFlash from the timeline, then who went back in time and killed Barry's mum? Who rigged the particle accelerator to explode and make the Flash? What put Eddie in the position that he felt he had to kill himself just then? Cisco, you're Vibe now. Explain this with movie references, because it does not make sense.
Thought I was going to watch a Bolton/Baratheon battle, got Cersei's breasts instead.
I hate characters like Pike, you just know that the only reason they exist is to cause trouble... Come on writers of The 100, you can do better than that...
It's clear that the writers value shocks and twists over characters with consistent motivations.
Edit: I'll remember Stannis as he was.
That final scene. Holy crap. I was kneeling, my hands were pressed on my face. OMG OMG OMG THIS SHOW. I thought I was gonna stop breathing until we had conformation. Masterfully done. In a few years time when everyone is saying this is the best show since Breaking Bad we will all have been here first. HOLY SDKFVNIEVEROTNV.
Claire Temple showing up was really awesome! Loved the mentions to her other 'special' friend and her interactions with Jess!
I'm not seeing what everyone's complaining about. So far it's exactly what I would expect a LOTR prequel series to be.
